Constraction reviews in Bellevue, Washington

We had a great experience with Alex and the team at Beaver Build. They did a bathroom remodel project for us and we're very happy with the outcome. Communication from Alex was very clear so we knew what to expect every day, and he was good about checking in to make sure that each component of the project was completed to our liking. There were several times where things weren't done exactly how I wanted, and the team was quick to hear my thoughts and make the necessary changes. They also did an admirable job handling the intricacies of a very old (and crooked) house. The project was done within the promised time frame and the only changes to the budget were items that we decided on after the project was already underway. Overall, we're super pleased with our new bathroom and we're looking forward to working with Beaver Build on our next project!

We had a great experience working with Alex and his team on our bathroom and vanity renovation. They are extremely organized and professional, and the entire process was very clear from start to finish. Alex is very responsive and always took the time to check everything with us to make sure it matched exactly what we had planned. His team is friendly, respectful, and highly professional, and the quality of their work really shows. We felt informed and comfortable throughout the whole renovation. Highly recommend Alex and his team for any remodeling project.

I had a phenomenal experience with BeaverBuild. I had an attempted break-in that left my front door compromised. After reading multiple positive reviews on Thumbtack, I reached out to BeaverBuild. So happy that I did. I have used Thumbtack many times and this was my best experience yet.

I was contacted almost immediately after my post, scheduled within minutes. Communication was a breeze - Alex gave me a price to replace my door, offered dates (even escalated due to my urgency) he responded to several follow up questions before the appointment, and then, it gets even better…. Pavlo was equally amazing! He showed up on time and ready to get to work. He provided important product guidance that would have led to long term costs and helped me find a solution. He even helped me load the new door into the truck I rented.

The door I bought was a different size than my existing frame, never fear, Pavlo knew exactly what was needed and extended easily. He stayed quite late to get the door painted and cleaned up all in the same day so I didn’t have to wait to get it painted later. He was extremely meticulous and even when I said it was cleaned up enough he kept vacuuming to make sure it looked perfect when he was done.

I have had some really challenging experiences with other contractors so I know when I find a good one. I’m reluctant to share my secret for fear they will always be busy when I need them, but they deserve it!

I had a great experience working with Beaver Build on my kitchen update. Alex was very responsive and always quick to answer any questions I had along the way. Since this was my first major home update, I really appreciated how Alex and the team took the time to bounce ideas around with me, explain why certain things would or wouldn’t work, and stay flexible as we refined the plan. They also kept the project moving on a solid schedule, which made the whole experience much less stressful. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone planning a home project.

Alex and team put in a built in fireplace/grill on my patio and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Alex listened to what I was looking for and helped put together a pretty comprehensive plan. Communication was top notch. His team was excellent with the demo/build. I would absolutely call them for any project around the house.

Beaverbuild was our contractor for a home remodel project, and the work was executed well and completed on schedule. Their scope included general contracting, full house painting, door staining, flooring, backsplash installation, and select HVAC changes, all handled by Alex’s team. Kitchen cabinets were completed by Kerf Design, and countertops were done by Inca Stone Works. We would gladly work with Beaverbuild again on future projects.

An SUV accident knocked down the center post on our two-car garage and the doors were wiped out as well. Alex interpreted the need for a strong replacement center post and his team did a perfect job of rebuilding the surrounds for that post. He assigned Vasya & Alex to the job. They are courteous, punctual and efficient. Rebuilt the center post with stable base and perfect match for the later garage door installers' requirements. Perfect color match on the trim, etc. Glad to recommend Beaver Build!

We worked with Alex and team for a bathroom transformation into a laundry/mud room and renovation of an entertainment/gym room. There are a few things about Beaver Build that stood out comparing to other companies that we got consultations from:

1. Alex is extremely responsive and transparent. He always follows up and details each work item. He also stayed on top of everything the whole project, made sure we had enough heads up time for various scheduling and room for making changes to the plan before any work was finalized/conducted. Anywhere we needed adjustments to the original plan, he offered alternatives and made sure the contract was updated accordingly.

2. The team worked really hard to stay on schedule even with the New Year's and MLK holidays, and we're very pleased with the results. Also shout out to Pavlo who is super skilled, efficient and extremely clean with his work site. He pushed really hard to wrap things up at the end without compromising work quality, which was very impressive!

3. Reasonable pricing and transparency: we originally decided to go with Alex because of the reasonable quote, although the plumbing part ended up higher than expected, Alex communicated ahead of time and offered alternative plans. We're happy with the final decision we made.

Overall we're very happy with the result and had a smooth experience working with the team. Highly recommend Beaver Build for any house projects.

They replaced an old garage door with a fancy/elaborate sliding glass door. Alex talked us thru options to help narrow down choices. They came out once to measure and make sure the door we liked had appropriate clearance before making the purchase. Door was installed in a day. Crew was great… hardly knew they were there. No issues during install and they did a really great job cleaning up. Will definitely hire them again.

Alex and his team did an outstanding job remodeling my home. From permit submissions to the final touches, they were consistently professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. Alex, the owner, was always quick to reply whenever I reached out and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to the highest standard and to my full satisfaction.

Alex and his team are amazing, we truly cannot say enough amazing things about BeaverBuild. From start to finish, this was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had.

We remodeled part of our second story to create an extra bedroom and office, and BeaverBuild exceeded every expectation. Their communication was outstanding — they were responsive, organized, and kept us informed every step of the way.

They worked incredibly hard to make our timing happen, often going above and beyond (even working late into the night) to ensure everything stayed on schedule. The project was completed exactly when promised per our contract, and the team was incredibly professional (cleaned up their workspace at the end of every day, navigated our home so graciously given we have two very small kids!)

The quality of the work was absolutely immaculate. This remodel involved everything from demolition and framing new interior walls, drywall patching and texture matching, electrical work for lighting and outlets, flooring installation (carpet and LVP), beautiful millwork like baseboards and crown molding, interior painting, and even exterior work including siding patching and installing a new window.

What impressed us most was how clearly and professionally everything was scoped compared with other contractors we considered. The pricing was extremely fair, transparent, and they came in on budget with no surprises.

They also stand behind their work with a two-year workmanship warranty, which gave us even more confidence in the craftsmanship - Alex was very quick to respond when we had one follow up we needed addressed.

If you are looking for a contractor who is trustworthy, detail-oriented, communicative, and truly delivers high-end results, hire BeaverBuild. We recommend them without hesitation!

The Beaver Build team did an amazing job on our hallway bath remodel! We couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the entire process went and the end result. A couple of things I wanted to call out:

- Alex did a wonderful job coordinating the entire project. We went back and forth for a couple of months before we green lit the remodel, and he was patient throughout, answering our questions and addressing our concerns in a really professional manner. I’m also impressed with how responsive he was from start to finish.

- Sergei and Vlad were a dream team! They were true professionals who worked hard to get our project done in record time. Their work was impeccable and they even helped me make some design decisions which turned out beautifully. Most importantly, they were really nice people and truly respectful of our time and space.

If it isn’t obvious already, I highly recommend Alex and his team and will definitely be working with them again :)

Alex and his team did an excellent job repairing my bathroom wall through an HOA-coordinated project. From start to finish, they were professional, communicative, and very easy to work with. The team was punctual, respectful of the space, and kept everything clean throughout the process.

What I really appreciated was how clearly Alex explained the work and set expectations upfront, which made the whole experience stress-free. The final result turned out great and blended seamlessly with the existing space — you wouldn’t even know repairs had been done.

I would definitely work with Alex again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality work.

[Kitchen and main bathroom] The team did an amazing job under the supervision of Alex. Beaver BLD was Mid-range from the quotes I gathered but delivered Premium execution. Alex is a great communicator (although I had to get used to do all comm incl quotes over text LOL) and coordinator. I was on a tight schedule, and they started on time, finished on time!! The team was great and hard working (besides a small hiccup with the drywall team), material was qualitative and the result looks amazing!!
I would 100% work with them again.

Alex and the team were excellent. I remodeled 2 bathrooms, all doors, and a skylight. They were transparent about cost and time, everything came in on schedule and at budget. Super responsive throughout the process. The quality of work was great as well. They confirmed every detail before doing the work which meant no re-work.

We had an excellent experience working with Alex and the team. Great and timely communication. Our project involved relocating walls, plumbing, electrical and installing new trim, doors and flooring.

The entire team respected our space and carried themselves with a high level of professionalism. We also appreciated the efforts in maintaining a clean jobsite daily.

Overall, we're very pleased with the quality of work and the way they handled the project. We are looking forward to wrapping up painting and decorating the space to make it ours.

Thank you Team!

Had Beaver Build replace rotting wood from our deck. The team did a great job removing the bad wood, cleaned the deck, rebuilt the stairs and added lattice to the base. We are very pleased with the work, communication, and the timeliness of the team. I highly recommend them

We were remodeling our second upstairs bathroom, and hired BLC Remodeling. It was a very good experience, Bogdan and his crew were always on time and did a great job.

Impeccable detail and top notch service. From consultation to finished product, BLC Remodeling is always extremely professional, efficient and transparent. With my personal projects and my client's alike, I'd highly recommend them to all, again and again.

Ben, George, and their team exceeded our expectations in so many ways.  They planned our bathroom remodel collaboratively, giving us ideas and support when we needed it as well as much-appreciated suggestions for saving money on the project.  They began the project earlier than anticipated (!), and they came to our house almost every week day (plus occasional Saturdays).  Every day they maximized the amount of work they could do (often working long hours!).  They completed the project at the estimated amount, and on time.  All changes were discussed clearly with us and in advance of the work.  Best of all, the quality of their craftsmanship was truly excellent:  the electrical work was extremely precise; the tile work was exceptional to the point of being art; and the woodwork, including lots of custom shelving, turned out beautifully.  They even got our 1970's plumbing to cooperate with the new pipes and fixtures!  We couldn't be more thrilled with the results.  It was a privilege to have these wonderful guys working in our house, and we definitely plan to ask them back to remodel the kitchen.

Having lived in our home for 20+ years with several poor remodeling experiences under out belt, we were very hesitant to move forward with a much-needed master bathroom remodel. We originally found BLC Remodeling on Angie’s List with numerous glowing reviews. Other sites echoed these reviews, so we decided to engage with George to determine if we found a good fit for our project. Our initial meeting went very well, and his flexibility and creativity were just what we required to bring our vision to life. George offered to coordinate a site visit with a current project, which we accepted and were very impressed by the work being done at the site as well as the feedback of the homeowner. The quote provided was very clear, well documented, and very competitive with others received.

The project began as committed and managed in a very professional manner. George and his team were very respectful of our home, worked hard to minimize disruptions to our life, and cleaned up after themselves daily. George was very communicative throughout the project, keeping us informed of materials required, hurdles encountered, and the impact of changes to the project on our quote. As would be expected issues were encountered, there were starts and stops, but they were all handled professionally. Flexibility was a key requirement of our project, and George and his team delivered on that requirement.

The project was completed as committed and there were no hidden surprises or billings. There were a few lagging items that required attention, and George and his team gladly worked with us to address these items. All in all, we were very pleased with the work done by BLC Remodeling, would definitely use them for future projects, and highly recommend them for others looking to have work done. Thanks George, Bogdan (Ben), Zoli, TD, and John for a job well done.
