Electrical reviews in Bellevue, Washington

I would never use this company they hire agressive people. Who drive recklessly without concern over causing an accident. I certainly would not want someone driving like that in my company truck.
-
The company is possibly fine. When there is an problem it's easier to get rid of you rather than talk to you. Vesting money and wasting your time, the unions medical time and their time. Someones feelings are more important than an asset for the company. Not difficult to find out or deal with unless you have no balls. Many other people talked as well " trust me

I was cut off by a Prime Electric truck today and had I not slammed on my breaks I would have rear ended him. I pull up next to the driver and he’s smiling, laughing at me. The disregard for my safety and my daughters safety was apparent by his facial expression. Your driver is a representation of your company and based on my experience with your driver I would NEVER use your company.

Watched a company truck take a right turn in the left turn lane coming off I-90 east to highway 18, if someone can't follow basic traffic law they shouldn't be employed driving a company truck.
Update: today your driver in van 263 came out of his lane on the off ramp and changed lanes in an intersection. Hire better people! -
The moment that the Prime electric truck arrived.. The electrician stepped out of the vehicle with a great big smile and assured us that everything was going to be fine! He introduced him self as Richy and explained that he had many years of experience and we had nothing to worry about.. He not only found the problem quickly but explained to us exactly what it was... and recommend a few things in the future. I give Richy and Prime electric five stars... I wished I could give more!!! Great experience!!!!!t
Thanks so much!!! -
Five stars for PRIME Electric ! They meticulously installed new outlets and a ceiling fan, showing great care and precision. Their professionalism was outstanding, and the work is perfect.

This is one of the few electricians that will work on commercial properties/businesses. They are located very close to my new office and I was hoping they could come out and help me with a project. I had similar work done at a previous space so was very clear about what I needed. They insisted on someone coming out and needing to look at my current setup, which they said would be a "quick check", but were going to charge me the electricians fee and a 2 hour minimum (almost $400), just for a few minutes check. I offered to send photos, and they were insistent I had to pay this $400 fee just to have someone look at it for 5 minutes. I think this is poor customer service, and it seems like they could have someone swing by, given it's minutes away, and I feel like I was being squeezed unnecessarily before my simple project even began or before I even had a quote for the work. I'm sure their work is fine, unfortunately I'll never get a chance to find out because of their insistence on making a quick buck off a potential customer.

Mike from Prime Electric helped me to hook up my new coffee urn which I use it to brew tea and hot water for customers. He did a good job, very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

one of their drivers tried to side swipe me on 405 north yesterday when they proceeded to not use a turn signal in the merge lane and was riding the lane until the very last second only to slam on the horn at me and then try to side swipe me right after when i was following the rules of the road and they weren’t.
i would never want someone that reckless doing any sort of work for me so just an fyi to who y'all would be giving your money to! -
I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Rich and Justin at Prime Electric. As a small business owner, it was great to work with them and their company. The process was seamless, and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. If they treat their customers, the same way they treat their business partners I am positive you will have a great experience.

This was my go to electrical company. Until recently. They moved my electrical panel about 8month ago. 1 breaker kept intermittently tripping after this. I finally called to ask how long their warranty is and was told 1 year. So they came back out to fix the issue yet charged me over $700 to fix work that should be covered by the 1yr warranty. I called Jacob electric several times to solve this issue. Only to be told each time they will call me back tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Apparently they do not honor their warranty policy.

Mani at Jacob Electric installed a vanity light and went above and beyond. He arrived on time as scheduled and advised to use stronger screws than what light fixture provided. The pricing was reasonable. I am very pleased and will use their services again for my electrical projects.

I am pleased with their services greatly! Our bedroom, which never had anything electrical in the ceiling, required the installation of a new fan. The majority of other places demanded $800s, yes with a S. Jacob Electric did an amazing job and did it for a LOT less money! After it was finished, there was some misunderstanding over the pricing, but they corrected it by lowering it to a level that made me delighted! I'll use them once more soon to add a few more fans, but this time it will be simpler. I might also use them for other projects I have in the works.

Gentleman came out and gave us an estimate on our garage door opener and referred as to a garage door company, he was very nice and gave opinion on what he thought was wrong and there was no charge. They installed our floodlight on our back patio and did a great job.

We live in an older condo with which we had difficulty with an outlet and installation of a bath light. Due the 1961 wiring.
They were very courteous, prompt and efficient. In and out in 30 minutes!
Electricians can be expensive but with Jacob Electric you definitely get good value for your money. I recommend them wholeheartedly. -
We were very pleased with the services provided by Jacob Electric November 13, 2024. This is our second or third time with this company. We like their professionalism and electricians. The electrician E. Jake was professional, attentive, polite, friendly and very competent. We have also requested that he return to do a GFCI compliance review of our 35+ year home. We recommend him and Jacob Electric highly.

We were told of arrival between 8:30-9:00 am, at 9:20 am we called and were told they were at the shop & would be here within the hour. They did not show up until @ 11:15 am. We were having an outdoor outlet installed, but they neglected to CONFIRM with my husband where it was to be placed. When he went outside they had already cut the hole, which was in the wrong spot from where we had discussed. The work itself was done well, but we were disappointed with the above. They pride themselves as professionals, but the above 2 instances does not appear to be professional.

Original schedule didn't work out due to factors outside of everyone's control. That said, once that happened, they were great at getting us rescheduled quickly! They even reached out when they had availability earlier than anticipated. They did great work too and managed to do the install without making any holes in the ceiling despite not having attic access.
Update: did a second job with them. The original time window was 2:30-3:30, and they didn't get there until past 5pm. Work done was good, but I didn't appreciate how late they arrived. -
I have been dealing with a lot of contractors to get my condo ready to list. Jacob Electric stood out from the rest. Their pricing was great, service was excellent, and they got the job done quickly and on time!

Very unprofessional job with multiple hassles. It took almost 2 months (12/06/23-2/02/24) from original work of installing new ceiling lights to completed inspection due to failure of Jacob Electric to make referral for the inspection and then follow-up with corrections. They kept blaming the inspector for being too busy, but didn’t actually make the referral until Jan. 17. At one point in Dec. someone falsely representing himself as the inspector called on a promised inspection day to say he wouldn’t be able to come out. A total of 5 or so promised dates passed with no word from them.
After receiving the referral on 1/17/24 the inspector came out on 1/18. However, he couldn’t complete or approve the work because the lead electrician, Edwin, and his assistant had plugged the hole. The inspector that day sent his corrections to Jacob Electric, suggesting this could be resolved by explaining their work over the phone to him, but Jacob Electric never called him back.
The inspector then began some research and discovered Edwin is only an apprentice and thus did not have the proper supervision for the job. Jacob Electric arranged for the corrections only after they were confronted about this.
LNI website lists numerous violations by this company for this same issue and more.
Oh…and I have an extra, unnecessary hole in my wall that Edwin acknowledged at the time was a mistake.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.
