We had a large glass chandelier installed in our home. Umar walked us through the estimation process and ultimately scheduled our installation. Edwin and Joel masterfully installed the fixture with speed and the utmost professionalism. I highly recommend Jacob Electric. Umar and his team will treat you fairly and deliver high quality.

Very disappointed with Jacob Electric. The communication was terrible from the start — we called specifically for same-day service, but instead of doing the job they only gave us an estimate and said no work could be done that day. The quote they gave was outrageous: over $1100 just to change a few lights and he tried to charge us $378 for a ladder !!! Completely unprofessional and not transparent with pricing. I would not recommend this company at all. I’m trying to upload the “estimate “ they provided !!!

Eddie showed up the next day after I had accepted the work order. He identified the problem and replaced a breaker with no issues.

Eddie came out to switch out 4 regular switches for dimmer switches and did a great job! He was professional and very knowledgeable which gave me confidence in the work . I will use them again!

I am very happy with their services! Needed a new fan installed in our bedroom that never had anything electrical in the ceiling. Most other places wanted $1000's, yes with a S on the end of it. Jacob Electric did it WAY cheaper and did a awesome job! There was some confusion on the price after it was finished, but they right by discounting the price to where I was happy! I will use them again in the near future to install a few more fans, but easier next time! May use them as well with other projects I have planned in the future.

Eddie was fast and efficient. The work turned out to be a simple fix, so I paid more than expected. But your communication is great and work was done promptly.

Rude, Unprofessional, and Completely Disrespectful

I’ve never been treated with such rudeness by any company in my life. They should be ashamed of how they speak to customers. Every time I called, I was either hung up on, talked over, or made to feel stupid for simply asking questions about my bill. One representative actually laughed while I was explaining a billing issue absolutely humiliating.

We had Jacob Electric re-wire our home and they did an excellent job! The team was professional, efficient, and very detail-oriented. Everything was completed on time, with high quality workmanship, and they left everything clean when they finished. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Jacob Electric to anyone looking for reliable electrical work

I had a request for a flickering lamp post to be fixed. They took apart a wall switch and were saying they didn't want to do return it to how it was for supposed safety reasons, and wanted to turn it into a much bigger project. But I had to ask repeatedly for them to at least put it back so the other lights worked and they did it backwards, so the off setting turned the lights on and vice versa. I still had to pay almost $300 without the lampost being fixed.

I had really bad experience with them after I explained everything I need I had to travel outside the country when I left I came back. I found out the guy that was there to take the order for me and he already knows what I want. Wasn’t there when the job was done and he sent somebody else they didn’t do the job right and when I asked for them to fix it, he said this is gonna cost you a lot of money after he said that if we go with his company is more protected for my business and I’ll have insurance none of that happen and now he loves the shop. And he wants me to pay him

Very unprofessional they installed my charger incorrectly and now it’s overheating. They then told me they have to charge me to come check to see what the issue is . Horrible service and customer service: Update They came out because I called and told them it’s smoking they then claimed that this happened from over using a charger which is impossible I charge 1-2 times a week . They then proceeded to tell me this isn’t a wiring issue when the wires are clearly burned and fried don’t ever use them they are trash .

I recently needed help with installing an EV charging station in my home. I wanted to make sure I choose someone with experience and knowledge. I reached out to Jacob Electric and they were amazing. They were very helpful and gave me great prices. I will be definitely using them for any other electrical issues that I may have.

I feel like I need to share my experience. Be aware of the diagnostic fee. They charge 163 dollars for a diagnostic fee. That seems odd, especially since it took them 5 minutes to diagnose. Then they charged almost 200 to repair. It took them 20 minutes to repair. I paid 307 dollars for a 20-40 minute job. Further. I called the night before. He said he would send someone out in the morning. He did not disclose the high diagnostic fee. At 11, I called for an ETA. They said the person I spoke to didn’t schedule it. The lady said they would have someone there between 1-3. At 3, I called for an ETA. The guy they scheduled had an emergency. Okay. Things happen, usually nice to let your customers know. They said a different persons coming after 4. That time changed to 5-7. I called again at 7. Someone finally showed up at 7:30 at night. Not great service and very expensive for what I got.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. We recently purchased a home, and it appears that several years before our purchase, this company did work for a previous owner that was never paid for. Instead of pursuing the responsible party at the time, they are now contacting me—years later—harassing and pressuring me to pay an amount I have no obligation for.

They are rude, disrespectful. It is beyond unreasonable that they would even consider troubling a new homeowner for someone else’s old debt. This type of business practice is unprofessional, unethical, and troubling. If this is how they treat people, I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with them.

I appreciate your intent and what you were trying to do. However, I did call your office the next day before I wrote this review. Unfortunately, the people I spoke with were neither respectful nor professional. They were yelling at me, threatening me, and calling me names, simply because I was trying to understand what was going on and how best to proceed with the next steps.

I was ultimately told that a lien would be placed in two days and that I could “do whatever I want.” I have never been treated so badly or disrespectfully. When I reached out to you, I was told by the people on the phone that management had decided they did not want to speak with me and would not provide any details.

It seems that only after I submitted this feedback did you decide to engage in a positive manner. I sincerely hope you will be more mindful of the people you hire and how they communicate with your customers, especially when we are simply calling to understand and inquire about an issue.

Installed 4 baseboard heater replacements very quickly for a reasonable price (for this area at least). Friendly and good electricians who really care about the customer. Been using this company for 7 years now and overall a good experience.

Called for work on our electrical panel and tried to make an appointment. Was told that someone would come over. They changed it and asked me to send some pictures instead. I did as they asked and Spoke with Jacob. He Said that he would send me 3 options. This was finally sent 3 days later. The proposals are detailed. I only wish the communication was better with more specific time frame as to when to expect the proposals.

Really great working with Kyle and his professional crew. Kyle's communication is his greatest asset. He went above and beyond in many ways with my upgraded panel box, generator plug, and EV plug project, by contacting the car manufacture to get the right answers before starting. Their price is more than fair, came on time and did the work neatly and efficiently that day. Kyle even came back later to check and answered all of my questions. I would not hesitate to call him for my next project. Great job!

An overdue review for spring work by Kyle and the team at MECO. We needed to replace an outdated electric panel and bring it up to code, reconfigure our laundry room power supplies, and fix some problematic outlets. This is a tight knit outfit that provides very competitive bids and works to ensure complete satisfaction before the job closes. As a small business owner Kyle’s day extends far beyond the standard 9-5. Share up front what times and communication methods work best for you, but remember to be patient when he’s out in the field. MECO got us through a challenging situation with our laundry room setup, and also helped us save money when they determined we could scale back an outside project after consulting with the city. Thank you Kyle for personalized, quality service.

Overall experience was fantabulous. Kyle & team did amazing job in record time. Not only did they install the Level 2 charger in my garage in just couple of hours, they made sure all the wiring was concealed. Team was also courteous enough to call the charger manufacturer to ensure that the instrument was being used as recommended.
I would strongly recommend considering them for your next project.
