Reviews of local pros in Cheney, Washington

We couldn't be happier with the family friendly service provided by Mr. Matt Aleria and Dirt Worx! From cradle-to-grave, they were professional, expedient (in response and action), and incredibly meticulous in their work. Their attention to detail was unmatched! Matt went above and beyond helping clear excess footings left from a previous job and filled in pot holes along our very long driveway (out of the scope of our original request) to ensure the job was completed to perfection. We reached out to several companies to get help with paving, leveling, and matching an existing gravel driveway to a newly formed garage cement slab. On top of their exceptional quality, their pricing was by far the best compared to the others! It is rare these days to find such a great balance of affordability and top-tier workmanship and getting the opportunity to work with such an upstanding person like Matt was just an added bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend Matt and Dirt Worx for any excavation, grading, or land management needs!

Amazing results!!!
Dirt Worx did some mulching for me and the results were incredible…
Highly recommended… will be having him do more soon…

We had Matt complete a 5 acre DNR Forest Mulching project for us on very heavily wooded land out by Spangle. The entire process, 3 days! went extremely smooth and exceeded our expectations, Price was better than we anticipated. Matt was totally open to feedback and some extra detail I requested with no issues whatsoever. Totally satisfied with this work and would highly recommend to anyone. We have recently been approved by the DNR for the second 5 acres on our place, we look forward to working with Matt again. Great peace of mind having our woods ready to deal with our summer wild fires. Thank you Matt!

Matt and his crew recently finished a commercial project for us in Airway Heights that involved removing our water meter from a neighboring property, reinstalling it on our property, and installing a new irrigation meter. As a small business owner I'd been trying to get this done for over three years but kept running into road blocks from the city at every turn. Matt took over and went straight to the Public Works department and got it handled. I seriously can't express how thankful I am for his initiative, common sense, and creative thinking to get this project done for us. Not only that, but he saved us thousands of dollars of nickel and diming from the city. Dirt Worx Land Management was knowledgeable, efficient, and affordable. Highly recommend!

I saw so many different people recommending Matt Aleria and his excavation company Dirt Worx Land Management that he seemed like the person to call. The positive reviews were accurate. He’s a professional with such expert excavation skills he makes the job look fun, plus he’s a genuinely good guy. Highly recommend him as the person to call.

Over a year ago I had Matt come give me an estimate to put in some fence post holes, then life happened and I just got around to scheduling things this fall. He remembered exactly who I was and details around the job. He and his crew were very respectful of our property and communication was impeccable. I look forward to working with him in the future and recommend him for any of your excavation and dirt work projects.

We first met Matt once we learned he and his dozer fought back flames to save our home from the Gray fire. He and a crew returned to down trees from near our drive & private road to keep the neighbors safe - that is the type of person he is, generous and caring about our community without any discussion about payment back. After working with DNR we wanted help cleaning our property- he quickly offered a solution to use a masticator to do the job. Dan & Alex, recently returned to quickly make our back timber of 1&1/2 acres cleaned up to meet the requirements of the DNR grant that we received post Gray Fire. Dan & Alex were informative and super nice. In a few short hours they had the area trimmed up and masticated, many trees that would have taken us weeks to down and clear on our own. They also treated our property with respect and ensured all was well with us before they left for the day. It’s been a true pleasure getting the know Matt and working with this amazing local company. He also delivered on each date, time and work to be done - we just don’t see that much anymore. Thank you Matt and team.

Matt, Dan and team are exceptional on every level. Easy to do business with them. Matt is so responsive and communicative. The work they do is of high quality. No cutting corners and they are fast too!! Great value for the cost. I definite recommend them and will give them my future business. Matt - you could also be a consultant for other businesses to help them be successful. You definitely have the secret sauce focusing on the customer and doing quality work with exceptional employees!!

May is awesome!! I had a small job for him that I just needed to have gravel delivered and spread for a foundation for a shed. I was shocked how fast his response was and fast the job got done. He contacted me within minutes of the contact sheet I submitted and he came out and gave me a bid the same day for the job. We got it scheduled in and the gravel was delivered that morning, spread out and leveled by noon. They even cleaned my driveway and walkway where some of the dirt from them driving back and forth got onto without even asking as it was just part of the job. I was thoroughly impressed with their work and punctuality. What really impressed me too was Matt personally called to make sure we were happy with the job and everything was done before he sent the invoice. I cannot wait to get them back for some other work and recommend him for any job you have. These guys really set the bar for others to follow!

Very happy with the job done by Dirt Worx thru the DNR Forestry Program. Very customer oriented, they wanted to make sure I was satisfied with job they did. We're in and out in short amount of time, area was very clean with minimal amount of damage to the ground by the machinery that was used. Would use again without hesitation.

Dirt Worx absolutely earned their 5 stars! Matt is a great communicator and the work was done as described and beyond our expectations! The Masticator was impressive! Also the bill came in under the quoted price! Who does that anymore? That kind of customer service is hard to find. I give Dirt Worx my highest recommendation! 5 stars and 10/10! Thanks Matt!!

Matt is the best and very hard working. My home was lost in the Medical Lake Gray wildfire. I met him to help with debris removal. He is very honest, trustworthy, and fair. His estimate was easy to read. He and his crew removed all the debris from my home and took care of everything. I highly recommend him.

have you ever wandered into a party that ended up being the best day of your life? Well, that my friends is the only way I can describe the work done by Matt and his amazing team! I’m not much for spending money, but if I gotta spend it, I’ll never spend it somewhere else! The level of character and work ethic and financials makes for the kind of pairing only left for Hollywood movies. I think my kids are even nicer to me now that they’ve met this man Matt you’re a freaking legend and I appreciate everything about you and all the work you do!

Very happy with the service they provided. Great crew Anthony has. Diverse skills.
We'll have them back again!

5 stars

Two different friends recommended Tony to me and I’m so glad they did! My yard looks better than it has in years and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Tony provided great suggestions to me and he and his team completed the job in what I felt was a very short amount of time. He communicated with me throughout the process.I highly recommend Tony! Really great work!

They did a great job on my first cut of the season. My grass had gotten so tall! Highly recommend! It’s a huge relief to have finally found a company to handle my oversized yard.
