Reviews of local pros in Covington, Washington

Matias and his company did an excellent job on our flower beds, driveway, and fire pit. Matias came out quick to give us a quote and was able to fit us in the schedule that same week. They are well priced and we would gladly use them again!

We hired Blue Sky to construct a large retaining wall to level our sloped backyard and install a paver patio. From start to finish, Matias and his team demonstrated exceptional professionalism. Despite challenging rainy days, they consistently showed up and worked diligently to complete the project on schedule, just in time for Christmas.

The quality of their work is outstanding. They adhered to all codes without cutting corners, ensuring the retaining wall is built to last for the next 100 years. The beautiful trees they planted on both sides are truly works of art, adding a stunning touch to the landscape.

We feel fortunate to have such skilled professionals in our area and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Blue Sky again for any future landscaping projects. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of high-quality, reliable work."

We hired Blue Sky Landscape to fix up my yard, so I could sell it. Let me tell you… I am absolutely amazed by the transformation. My yard looks better than when I first purchased it 2 years ago. The communication was immaculate. I was able to schedule them in a timely manner. They worked on my yard for about 6 hours. I was shocked when they said they were finished. I went outside and all my pine needles were gone, the stubborn blackberry trees were gone, the build up of moss on my patio… gone! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the concrete ground on the side of the house. They did such a fantastic job that I asked if they could fix my front yard also. They came back a few days later and finished my front yard as well. My husband and I are both working parents, and I am a full-time graduate student, so we did not have time to fix up the yard. We definitely could not have done as great of a job. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m so happy we hired your company!

So glad I switched to Matias and Blue Sky Landscape! Great and constant communication, treated my property like their own. So impressed with clean up and what a great job they did. Had spring clean up, artificial turf repair of job unfinished by previous company, powerwash and sealant done. Price seemed compatible. I will hire again!

Update:
Had Matias and his fantastic crew do a large backyard project. Old lower deck was demolished, new paver patio, walkways, rv pad fence, under deck enclosure with gate and landscaping added. Pricing was very fair with a few thoughtful additional touches. They keep it looking peak with continued maintenance every other week, also very reasonably priced. We cannot thank you and your crew enough, Matias! It is such a sanctuary now!

Matias and his crew did a very full day of hard work in awful weather and what a fantastic job they did!! Our side yard has been an ugly mess for a long time. Not anymore! We'll be having them back for some additional projects in the near future. Thanks guys!!

Matias is the best! He is an artist who reimagined my yard and transformed it to a lovely oasis. He is precise and detail oriented. I am amazed not only by the final product but the hard work of getting everything expertly planned, measured, irrigated, drained, and leveled. Matias and his team were wonderful throughout the process whole process. I highly recommend.

We recently had the opportunity to have Matias and his crew design and install all new landscaping in both our back and front yards. From the initial design consultation to the final minute touches, the team demonstrated professionalism and creativity throughout the process.
The selection of plants and materials perfectly complemented the natural surroundings, resulting in an outdoor space that is both inviting and functional.
Communication was clear and consistent, with regular updates provided on the work progress and timelines. The crew maintained a clean work environment and was respectful of the property, minimizing disruption.
We are so very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend this landscaping team (we would give 6 stars if we could!) to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space with expert care and attention to detail, all at a reasonable price.

Completely overwhelmed with the scope of our landscaping concerns, we found Matias and Blue Sky to be the most helpful and competitively priced option.

From the beginning, he really listened to what we wanted and helped us shape a clear vision for our front yard, even when we weren’t sure how to describe it. Blue Sky was reliable, professional, and kept everything moving on schedule.

What impressed us most was how far Matias was able to extend our budget. He helped us prioritize what mattered most, and the end result feels thoughtful, beautiful, and lasting. Now our front yard feels alive and welcoming, like a place we actually want to spend time in.

We also appreciated how transparent he was with costs and how much care he put into the details. The plants are thriving, the hardscaping is solid, and the space feels completely transformed.

We would highly recommend him to anyone, especially someone who has no idea what to do.

Great experience with Creative Construction. They did a full master bedroom remodel at my home in Bellevue, including a custom shower and tile work.

Ivan was the installer and did a really clean, high-quality job. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted.

Compared to other companies, their pricing was the best, and the quality didn’t disappoint.
Would definitely recommend.

The price was so much better than all the other companies I got quotes from. They built custom cabinets for my kitchen at my home in Issaquah, and everything turned out really clean and high quality.

The whole experience was amazing. This was my first remoulding job in Sammamish and could not be happier. Trey did the most amazing job with communication and helping with all of my questions and requests.Ivan was so very helpful with my project. I recommend Creative Construction 100%

We hired Creative NW to knock out a closet of ours. He was extremely professional (more professional than us lol. He was waiting on responses from us, not the other way around) about getting the job assigned, a schedule laid out, and he was able to complete the job promptly. When he had delays, they were very minor, only like a day or so, and he was very communicative about them. He did additional work for us, building an outdoor gate out of our fence, and removing a side closet. All in all, we were very pleased with his performance and would recommend him to any of our friends.

Ivan and his team remodeled our upstairs bathroom and we could not be happier with the final result! Great communication throughout the whole process with superb attention detail.
Thank you Ivan, Greg, and Max! We love our new bathroom!

Ivan and his team were by far and away the best contractors we’ve ever worked with. They were very communicative and their quality of work is incredible. Two brand new bathrooms!

Hired to redo our shower. Looks amazing. Was the most affordable out of all our quotes, and most knowledgeable as well. No complaints. Did everything he said he would do plus more.

Ivan is fantastic, highly responsive, on time, quality work on budget. They did our bathroom for us and it was so well done that we’re going to ask them to remodel our kitchen as well. The people he has working for him are kind, also on time, respectful, and are haaarrrdd workers. I don’t think I saw them take a break once.

I consulted with several companies for our home renovation project to remodel our 2 bathrooms. Ivan from Creation Construction was very informative while discussing the project and offered a fair and detailed estimate. We eventually chose them and didn't regret. They were on-time, within budget and transparent throughout the process. We are happy with the end result.

Choose Ivan; you will not regret it.

I've now worked with 6 different contractors in a few different cities and states over the last 10 years, both for new builds and remodels. I brought Ivan on for a remodel of a single family home where there was extensive damage throughout the house, including all 3 bathrooms. We put in new floors, repainted, retiled, replaced fixtures, and modernized the house - all completed within 3 months. Ivan is the contractor who has come the closest to being on budget and on time - and if you know the construction industry, that's really saying a lot.

Out of about 10 bids, Ivan's was the most fair and comprehensive. We didn't want the highest quality remodel but we also didn't want the lowest quality - we wanted quality construction at a fair price. I had received lower bids which (after extensive experience in remodels) were clearly too aggressive in pricing and would never come in on budget, or be based on shoddy work. During the bidding process, I spoke with GCs who kept calling me, but didn't keep promises (send in bids, provide add'l info, etc). Ivan submitted his bid promptly and worked with me closely on adjustments I wanted after submitting his initial bid. He was good with communicating anytime a home owner decision was needed (white risers for stairs, or planks? what kind of shower door? what kind of door hardware?), and provided photos for clarity. He was patient when I had a hard time picking out flooring (hardwood vs LVP?), and sent many photos for comparison. Ivan was on the job site frequently, and there was activity at the house almost everyday (sometimes until pretty late). Anyone he brought in for the job, whether his people or (more rarely) subcontractors, the work was high quality work. For the final blue tape walkthrough, there were very limited changes and almost no blue tape; any changes there actually were, Ivan wrapped them up quickly.

I had done my due diligence prior to bringing Ivan on for the project and asked for references, and had received glowing reviews from families he worked with previously. After finishing up the work on our remodel, I absolutely agree with everything I had heard upfront about Ivan and his company. He's courteous, prompt, honest, hardworking. You will be hard-pressed to find the combination of solid quality, fair pricing, and fast timeline from a GC you can trust. 100% recommend hiring Ivan for your next home build.

We recently completed several major home renovation projects with the help of Ivan and Creative Construction, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. From the very beginning, Ivan and his team's professionalism and dedication were evident.

They performed a full basement studio remodel for us, which included renovating the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. We were able to design these spaces together, and their expertise brought our vision to life. Most recently, they also assisted us by providing and implementing solutions for structural updates needed for our home's outdoor foundations and drainage systems.

One of the most impressive aspects of working with Creative Construction was their punctuality. They consistently showed up on time, making the entire renovation process smooth and predictable. This reliability allowed us to plan our days without many disruptions, which we deeply appreciated.

Moreover, their communicativeness was exceptional. Throughout the projects, the team kept us informed about every step, ensuring we were always in the loop. Whether it was discussing the day's progress, addressing any concerns, or providing updates on the timeline, their clear and open communication made us feel confident and reassured.

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were also top-notch. They took the time to understand our vision and executed it flawlessly, transforming our home into a space we truly love.

In summary, we highly recommend Creative Construction for any home renovation projects. Their ability to show up on time and maintain excellent communication sets them apart, and their work speaks for itself. Thank you for making our renovation experience so positive and stress-free!

We are so impressed with the work by Creative Construction! Last year during the bomb cyclone a shingle moved from our roof and let water into our ceiling. We finally reached out to have someone quote and fix it and they did an immaculate job.

Worked with Ivan on remodels of bathrooms and laundry room. He was punctual, detail oriented, responsive, personable, honest and responsible. If something wasn’t done up to standards by his crew he always circled back around and fixed it. I’d hire him again and would recommend to others.
