Treats is legit. I would recommend them to everyone who needs work on their furnace/AC. They are honest, knowledgeable, and thorough. Their tech took the time to answer all my questions and troubleshoot all aspects of my furnace. Additionally, their prices are reasonable and fair.

I’ve had a pretty varied experience with Treat’s and due to my rating I feel like I need to address the different aspects of my experience.

For context I got a multi unit mini split system installed back in January. I had a so-so experience with outside sales, but eventually got it sorted. Bill was reasonable to deal with for the most part.

My experience with the installers was probably the best of all my interactions, although they did not connect the drain properly to one of the units and it leaked all over my brand new floor and newly painted wall, so that’s pretty disappointing.

My gripe with Treat’s is really with the front office. I have dealt with them on several situations in terms of scheduling maintenance and with their electrical coordinator. On both occasions I found the folks cold, apathetic and at times very argumentative. The general customer experience ethos could use some work before I would consider using them again or recommending them to friends and family.

Treat's replaced our 2 HVAC systems 7 years ago with Carrier devices, and we've continued with their annual service ever since. The original installation couldn't have gone smoother from the initial planning and quotation stage orchestrated by customer representative Jody...right up to the final installation team's perfect performance in completing the project. The continuing annual service has been most reassuring that we went with the right firm, particularly with the expertise, business acumen, and communication skill Service Manager Dan brings to the table. He's simply 1st rate! Thanks for all you do to keep us warm and cool throughout the year.

Treat’s Heating & Cooling designed and installed all the components that are required to heat and cool our 9000 square feet church building. Very challenging and complicated project. We are very pleased with their performance and quality of workmanship. I definitely recommend them for any project, big and small. It was a pleasure working with them.

Treats has been taking care of our heat pump and furnace for several years. The technicians are able to explain what they are doing to service our equipment and also let us know about any problems there might be. They are friendly and professional. We highly recommend this business.

2025 Review...I once again can't express how great this company is. My furnace finally died :( I now live in the Netherlands and my sister and her family live in my house. I received another estimate from a company and I am not kidding...it was MORE than 3 times the quote I received from Treats amd they were pushy amd massively upselling. So of course, I told them to call Treats. They came out, thoroughly inspected the furnace, was honest and quick. New furnance installed in less than a week from the time they were initially called. Even though I am out of the country, theywere easy to communicate with and I was able to pay via a link online. Highly recommend.

2022 Review.....Treats is AMAZING! I read a ton of reviews last year when we bought our house and wanted to install AC and decided to go with them. I am soooo happy I did. They were honest! How do I know this??? I received several estimates and they were all over the place. I had another company walk in to my garage and BEFORE they even walk to my furnace....started talking about how old it was and needed to be replaced. When Treats showed up, they thoroughly inspected it before making recommendations. We have used them since then for maintenance and they are awesome. Flexible, show up on time and continue to be honest!

I first had Treats Heating replace my furnace control board in August 2021, which cost $724.46. Fast forward to January 2022, and my furnace stopped working. I reached out to Treats Heating, and they sent a technician who determined that my igniter was burnt out. I was given the part recommendation and replaced it myself.

By 2023, the same issue happened again, so I replaced the igniter once more. However, by April 2024, I noticed a strong propane smell every time the furnace ran. I called Treats Heating again, and their technician couldn't find a leak. I followed their advice and had my propane company inspect the house, but they found nothing either. Despite being concerned, I didn’t run the furnace much, and it eventually stopped working altogether.

Frustrated, I had my cousin, who is a furnace technician, come over to diagnose the issue. He discovered that both the igniter and control board were faulty and explained that when Treats Heating replaced the control board, the igniter should have been replaced as well to ensure compatibility. When I shared this with Treats Heating, the response I received was not helpful, and I was again met with dismissive customer service. I was told that because I allowed someone else to diagnose the furnace, any potential warranty was void, and that I’d have to pay for another technician visit. At this point, I felt unheard and brushed aside, especially after having spent over $700 just a couple of years earlier on a new control board.

I then called a new company, Able Air Heating & Cooling, who immediately found the issue—a gas leak—and replaced the faulty parts. Now my furnace and heat pump are working properly.

While I don’t often write reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. It’s disappointing that Treats Heating didn’t listen to my concerns and that I was treated with frustration rather than understanding. I’ve found a new company that made me feel heard, and I’ll be taking my future business to them. If the owner of Treats Heating wants to reach out to hear my side of the story, I’d be open to that.

Our AC quit working just a few days back. Daniel came out and diagnosed it. Didnt try and upsell anything. Just a quick easy fix at what I felt was a reasonable price. We do our best to use businesses in town and service like this will keep us doing that.

They are very professional and know their stuff when it comes to heating and cooling!
Whenever I have had a problem they are usually able to get a person out within the next day to fix my problem. They are a knowledgeable and decently priced option if you need furnace work or repairs done. I highly recommend them!

I don’t understand the hype about this place. We had a new system installed in March. As soon as it got warm it wasn’t working correctly. Three attempts to get someone out here was met with a super rude, irritating, disrespectful person who was just infuriating. I wish I could go back and get literally anyone else to put in this system.
Still nobody coming for another week. And to have someone speak to me this was was outrageous. Zero stars. Avoid. Run for your life

We had treats out to look at our AC unit because it was tripping our power a week ago. They said everything looked fine and we paid the diagnostic fee. One week later our AC unit makes a horrific sound and breaks at night. We called to tell Treats and they said it would be two weeks to get someone out even though they were out just a week ago with the problem and didn’t fix it. Very frustrated with the service and lack of urgency on something they should have noticed when we had them out.

Had a great experience using Treat's service for a client in need of a furnace inspection and minor fixes. Very easy to schedule and the technician who did the inspection was very professional, friendly, and explained everything I needed to know to pass on to my clients. I would hire them again!

Hello everyone
As a family, we used Treat's several times. They installed heat pump at my house and serviced it several times. I recommended them to others and they installed heat pump at my son's house too.
Reason I am writing this review is because we had issues with heat pump, installed at the son's place. Installation, done by subcontractor, was poor quality. We caught on this only almost 2 years later, when normal 1 year warranty expired. I have to praise Treat's and, particularly, their CSR, Bill N., for absolutely honouring their job and fixing the issue at no cost, under craftsmanship warranty.
To me, this is very important, as things happen and, company value and integrity shows itself in how it treats customers after being paid.
I'd definitely recommend Treat's for anyone.

Treat's installed a replacement heating & cooling system in our home a few years ago. From start to finish the install was easy and we are very happy with the new system.

To keep the warranty intact, I've continued using Treat's for the annual maintenance. Today's visit was an absolute delight. Not something you'd expect from a maintenance call. The system got a clean bill of health, and the technician (Johnny) and his assistant were top notch. Johnny shared a few brief but wonderful stories about some shared interests that made my day!

I recently used Treats for routine maintenance on my gas furnace and AC unit. I was scheduled for next day service. Nick arrived and quickly got to work after confirming locations of both units. He spent about 35 minutes on sight which seemed very quick for the price I paid and the service being done. All and all, Nick was personable and worked diligently which was appreciated. My only wish is that Nick would have shared his findings and a report with me such as the efficiency of the unit in conjunction to my home and comfort before collecting payment.

Treat's installed our HVAC system and maintaining it moving forward. Could not be happier with the level of service, communication and their staff.
