I originally called Gutter Helmet to purchase their rain guard gutters but after the consultation the sales person said I didn’t really need them but larger gutters and new drain spouts positioned in different places and away from my house would do a better job of moving the water away from my house. The new gutters look great and we’re very reasonably priced. I was impressed that the company cares more about doing the right thing vs just making money. I highly recommend them.

A few months after our new Gutter Helmet was installed, it had a couple of problems- primarily that it began pouching/bulging between the screws holding it down. But it was straightforward to schedule a Service/Repair person to come out. Corey Hopkins fixed everything that was missed the first time around- explaining they forgot to put screws in the middle of the pieces of helmet, and also "cheese-grating" three drain-helmets under places of heavy runoff on the roof. He also did a thorough examination of the whole system, which was otherwise in good order, checked to see if the gutters were at all clogged, and let us know when the next time to have it serviced is. While not excited about having to deal with the inconvenience of the Helmet not being installed entirely properly to begin with (a couple of weeks after install we had to have them come back and extend some end pieces, but it went smoothly), all-around we are pleased with how things went, especially with Corey, and feel confident that their product and good service will last a long time.

We had new gutter and gutter helmet installed. They were very professional and timely. Job was done perfectly. They also have free lifetime gutter/roof cleaning that comes with the product which is great. And when you call them for servicing, they are very prompt to schedule it. Overall very good experience with them

We've had the gutter guards for almost 3 years now and LOVE them. With tons of trees in the backyard and a 3 story house we were not going to be cleaning our gutters nor wanted to run the risk of them getting clogged. Gutter Helmet will also come do a complimentary check and cleaning of your gutters (if needed). We recently took them up on this and they sent out a rep (Corey Hopkins). He called ahead so we knew when he'd arrive, he explained what he'd be doing and why, walked me through everything when he was done, and was so polite and courteous. Definitely recommend this company and their product.

We were very pleased and impressed with the outstanding service by our service expert Corey Hopkins! Corey was at our house ahead of time and was very friendly and assured us he would do his very best for us. We had noticed during the heavy winter rains a couple of areas where the water was pouring over the edges of our new Gutter Helmet after our first winter. Corey assured us our service is all included and at no cost. He explained how he was going to clean all the gutters with a hi-speed nozzle and that we should set up a regular service schedule about every 8-9 months. He also noticed the roof needed blowing off, which he did thoroughly. In inspecting our gutters, Corey noticed several areas where the gutters had bowed enough to be noticeable. In his cleaning he also tightened all these connections to correct this, so the gutters are now all uniform height and appearance. We appreciated his taking the time to explain how the gutters work and how to spot a clogging problem and to call whenever we see this. He left everything clean and tidy and did such an excellent job we want to give him our A+ review!! Thank you, Gutter Helmet and thank you, Corey!!

I spent a lot of time researching gutters. I live in a heavily wooded area and my existing gutters filled up so quickly with debris. I settled on the Harry Helmet gutters and have been super happy with them. The installation was handled very professionally.

Replaced gutter and added Gutter Helmet. After the February snow storm tore the old gutters off the house, I chose Gutter Helmet to come out and replace the gutters and add the "leaf guard" so I won't have to climb up to the second story to clean out the gutters several times a year. It was convenient that Gutter Helmet had a rep in my local Costco and that Costco backed up the warranty and gave a great price break. Gage came out to measure my roof and show me how the product worked. There was no pressure to buy. I didn't decide to go with Gutter Helmet right away because I wanted to get my homeowners insurance settlement finalized first. Then I contacted Gage and he came right out and got me scheduled for gutter replacement. On the appointed day, Dan showed up right on time and did the work of two men finishing up shortly after 1 p.m. He somehow managed to balance 40 feet of continuous gutter and get it exactly in the right spot on both sides of the house. After gutters, he carefully trimmed the gutter helmet pieces so they would fit perfectly on my atypical metal roof. Great installation job! I'm eager for the first fall rainstorm to see how well the design works to sluice off the leaves and conduct the water to the new downspouts.

I called and got charged $50 for scheduling my warranty appointment (which has been free since we got Gutter Helmet). The agent asked me to wait for 3 weeks for call-back. Ok I waited 4 weeks and NO ONE CALLED!
Then I called for another week trying to get my appointment set up. NO ONE ANSWERED! (the service or scheduling department)
I finally received a message saying that my appointment was set. YET WHEN THE DAY CAME, NO ONE SHOWED UP! I started to call again and every agent I talked to forwarded me to a voicemail. Yes, there were customer care people calling back, but they all told me they COULDN'T schedule appointment for me NOR can they help check why no one showed up on the appointment day. Everyone kept forwarding me to a voicemail.
That's how you do your business?!
We got our GH in 2020 and I WAS happy with annual services. Now that the service is transferred from Harry Helmet to the Lednor Home? I can only talk to voicemail and no service. Good job Lednor Home :) and good luck to all new customers who want a future service appointment.

BUYER BEWARE!! We purchased Gutter Guards from Costco. For the past several years, we were dealing with Harry Helmet and didn't have a problem - until this year. We called for our annual maintenance of our gutters and were told there would now be a $50 fee. Apparently, Harry Helmet is now Lednor Homes and they changed their "policy". Our Costco contract doesn't state that we will be charged $50 per service call. In good faith, we have our credit card number. Our card was charged and we never received a receipt. This has been almost two weeks and have never heard back from anyone. I have contacted Costco to make a formal complaint against the company. I was finally able to get to someone over the phone (who sounded like he was working from home. HIs name was Deshawn). I explained my situation was told that a manager would be contacting me. I asked for my complaint to be escalated and to be connected to a manager and I was denied this. Deshawn stated that everything that was happening was "in our contract". I asked to have a copy of the contract sent for our review as I suspect we are reading two different contracts and I was disconnected. How convenient. In good faith we went through Costco to avoid this type of scenario. Now we are stuck with Gutter Guards that, supposedly have a lifetime warranted with a company that won't honor the contract and treats consumers like (insert your expletive of choice). Trying to get our gutter guards serviced is a nightmare! My next step will be to complain to the Better Business Bureau as our contract does not state that there will be a $50 service charge to have our gutters serviced. And, will Lednor Homes honor the lifetime warranty that we have? That remains to be seen.

I had a Gutter Helmet system installed, the installation was very unprofessional. The installer left debri everywhere. I had to have them come out on two occasions, once for overflow issues and another to replace torn shingles on a brand new home. I recently made a call to customer service to update my contact information. I asked about service information and was told that there is now a $50 per occurrence with a lifetime warranty service call fee even though that was not part of the agreement when I bought the product. Another company puts profits over customer service. Shame on Guttet Helmet. 👎 1/4/24 update. Gutter helmet waived the fee, came out and did the appropriate repairs. Thank you.

We've hired Gutter Helmet twice to clean our gutters and install the GH so that we don't have to worry about cleaning our gutters ever again. The first time was about 10 years ago and the product worked so well that when we could afford to finish the job we did. Now our whole house is GH'd. The service was excellent, on-time, professionally done and the installers were very friendly. It's pricy - but it works.

I had Gutter Helmet installed last year and have issues with the installation and the performance of the system. They used non-standard roofing screws to secure their system to my roof and installed them incorrectly under the shingles, as pointed out by my roofer, and Mark Rodgers, District Manager of Gutter Helmet refuses to do anything about it. Costco is trying to help us get a refund but seems to just defer the decision entirely up to Gutter Helmet which is equally as disappointing coming from Costco. As others have mentioned, when we have a winter storm or two, enough pine needles accumulate on the front of the Gutter Helmet that the rain water just goes right past the gutter entirely and onto the ground making it completely useless. This is after a cleaning by Gutter Helmet 2 months prior. Gutter Helmet's response to that is that they need to be cleaned much more frequently, I guess that would be once a month in winter? I don't see the point of this system. I do not recommend Gutter Helmet. Our roof is now damaged from the installation of Gutter Helmet and so far we have paid $550 to repair it with another $2000 in more repairs yet to pay for. We asked Gutter Helmet to pay for these repairs caused by their installation and they have refused.

Had Gutter Helmet installed on my house in 2019. At the time, sales person, installers, and actual contract stated I had free gutter cleaning as part of contract and lifetime warranty. It was part of the “free flow guarantee.” I called in February 2024 to have gutters cleaned as part of warranty. Employee told me they implemented a $50 fee to come out to service the product. I told them my contract stated this was free and that I’d like to talk to a manager. They stated a manager would call me back in 72 hours. I never received the call back from manager. No communication was received by my household on a change in contract. Company doesn’t honor the contractual warranty. Buyer beware!

We live in Washington State. We had Gutter Helmet installed on her home shortly after our roof was redone in 2006. Since then the product basically worked, they came out annually and did a cleanout for us, they did some other repairs when we needed it. We were satisfied.  This year, 2024, we needed to have our roof replaced by Guardian Roofing. We had to have the gutter helmet removed before we could have the roof replaced. After 2 or 3 falls, they got back to us, provided a quote, a contract to do the down-and-up replacement for this,  $940 with $400 up front, and the GH product was taken down and stored on our property.  No problem.  We had contracted with Guardian Roofing for the new roof, and they did fantastic work on the roof and chimney repairs. After that was done, I placed several calls to Ledner Homes/Gutter Helmet to get the covers back on our gutters.  After 6 to 8 calls to Ledner Homes to ask them to come out to do this, always forwarded to a recording that said "all of our customer service agents are busy ... leave a message", with no results, I left a last message that I did not want these put back up, I lost faith in their company. Shortly afterwards we got a call from Maryland, which is the home office for Ledner Homes, I think. We explained we didn't want them on our roof again, we would like to void the contract to put the covers back up. On the phone they agreed to void the contract with no additional $$ charge, discontinue us as a client, and they would put that in writing. We've been waiting since October 2nd to get that in writing. Maybe that doesn't seem long to you, but we had the roof done almost a month ago and their customer service is always "busy ... leave a message". Up to about 12 calls now to customer service, received two call backs during this time, product still sitting in our backyard.  Think of this if you are considering gutter helmet or alternatives. Tired of spell checking, hope I get a call back.
Update, next day, Oct 10, 2024: I received an email from Mike Bell, National Op Mgr,, Lednor Homes/Gutter Helmet, Maryland offices. He changed the contact (sic) [contract] to the amount paid and "our file has been noted as do not service." I hope that means closed and no longer active. That is what it means to me.
I am sorry that it took a poor review to bring the issues to their attention, and I have to assume that is the fact because it took one day for a response vs. many phone calls and unanswered messages to the Washington State Customer Service phone line. I feel the full Gutter Experience was good, from install to removal, and the current field personnel, including Tim Kowes, are good, hard workers who do their jobs well. Thank you Tim for your help. it was just so difficult to reach their office "live" to finish this job. Now all better. Thank you, Mike. Added a star, now 3*.

We have lots of gutters on our home, garage and carports. Metal roofs are often too slippery to safely clean the two story high gutters and we had vegetation growing in them and as well as plugged downspouts. Over 15 years ago we had Gutter Helmet installed on all our gutters and have not had a problem since. Yes, it costs more than other systems, but you get what you pay for in this case.
In November we had a tree take out part of our garage and to carports. I'm thankful we had 100% replacement insurance so we could get Gutter Helmet, rather than the cheaper system, installed. The guys who did the installation were as efficient and professional as the ones who installed our first Gutter Helmet all those years ago.
No screens or flat surfaces to clean or keep maintained. Rain goes in the gutter and leaves, cedar, fir and hemlock needles flow over and off the Gutter Helmet. It really works!

My mom had her gutters replaced by Gutter Helmet on July 9, 2022. (Order #476600) The gutters seem fine, but what is NOT fine, is that one of the workers spilled a very long line of paint (at least 40 feet long) on her paved driveway. We contacted them immediately and told them about it. They promised to return soon and power wash or scrub the paint off my driveway. They never returned. We called again and emailed and even sent photos of the damage. They made some more promises, but have never showed up. I called AGAIN on September 7 and talked to a customer service rep named Marcie who promised to escalate the situation. Still nothing, and it's now September 19! I honestly don't know what to do next. This is incredibly poor customer service.

We love the fact we never have to clean junk out of the gutters, so they work as advertised. We aren’t 100% satisfied now though because we were initially told when we purchased that we would have someone come out annually to clean the outside of the gutters. There is now a charge for this, which means I’ll be washing the exterior of the gutters myself going forward. The only other downside to this gutter system is that the gutter helmet dents easily if a ladder is placed against it, which happens when vendors such as painters come to work on the house. As much as we tell them to be careful, we get dents. Overall however, Gutter Helmet is a good product and we can recommend it if you don’t like cleaning junk out of your gutters.

I am the community manager at Lakewood Meadows and we have been absolutely thrilled with the service from ACME. Specifically the cleaner, Alma that comes daily is terrific!! We have nothing but kind words to say about her. She goes above and beyond to make our property look amazing!!

We’ve had a great experience with the cleaning services here. Laura, in particular, is a standout. She is consistently delightful and her attention to detail is top-notch. It makes a huge difference knowing the building is in such good hands.

Acme Janitorial services several properties for us and they do a terrific job. I especially appreciate how responsive their management team has been.

ACME was incredibly flexible with our shifting scope. They were prompt, professional, and the outcome exceeded our expectations. I dream all vendors operated as such.
