Gene did a great job helping me think through all the variations available to me for heating my house. I tend to ask a _lot_ of detailed questions and take a lot of time to decide before I act. Gene was patient, responsive, and non-pushy during all of this.

Once everything was decided, Steven came with his crew. They efficiently and beautifully installed a system that passed inspection and has made my house much more comfortable for the last two months.

Be very wary of this company. They promote a very cheap hvac/furnace tune-up, but then they come out and talk trash about your existing unit and try to sell you a new one. They even shut ours down and so we had to have another company come out to re-light the pilot light and put everything back together. I would find a more honest company to do business with.

Steven, Gene and their crew did an absolutely flawless job. I was educated and informed by them prior to selecting my system, I never felt pressured in any aspect when deciding which route to take. They showed up in clean work vehicles and were clean cut and polite. Their equipment and tools were organized and maintained (this type of stuff is important to me).

One of the main aspects that I appreciated is the level of communication I received - they were responsive, honest and kept their word throughout the project.

Their pricing was very competitive and the level of service I received was ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH. There were multiple instance where I could have received a change order depending on how the parties viewed the issue at hand - however they never tried to charge me more than what we agreed on originally.

I received a follow up call from Gene 6 months after the install asking how the system was performing - who does that? Many contractors do not want to ask that question because they are afraid of what your answer would be! Save yourself lots of needless legwork and deal with these guys.

Eco air Nw were able to come out and install a new furnace the very next day after my call, very fast and professional service. Steve and his coworker are nice guys, knowledgeable and reliable. I highly recommend their services!

The guys were amazing. Friendly, respectful and funny. Steven knew what he was doing and was happy to answer all our questions. The amount of gunk they cleaned from the units was truly amazing. I really don't know how it ran at all.
Steven offered to come annually which is something i will definitely be signing up for. He showed me how to use the remotes and information about the inside and outside units that we never knew. Now we know what to watch for and what not to worry about. We can't thank them enough. We highly recommend, call them, you will not be dissapointed.

After last year’s heat wave I knew I wanted to get a mini split system installed. I got quotes from four companies and some were a month out to even schedule a walkthrough to get a quote. Steve was by far the most communicative. He was patient with my (many!) question and had the fairest price. Him and his team were professional, on time and efficient. He helped me find a great location for the compressor unit that wasn’t in front of my house, which some of the other companies were recommending because it was easier on them. The unit is powerful and looks great. I highly recommend them!

We were very happy with the service provided by Gene & Steven. Our furnace stopped working on Friday. I found Eco Air NW through home adviser on Saturday and had an appointment on Monday. After getting a couple estimates we chose Eco Air NW and let them know Tuesday afternoon. They were able to install our new heater on Thursday as well as install a new water heater we added to the order. We are very grateful to have such speedy service and competent installation.

I am so glad I chose Eco Air NW to install my new heat pump! When Steven and Dannie came to evaluate my heating needs for my cottage and give me a quote, they impressed me with their knowledge of their product, how to install it and how to get the maximum rebates. They are seasoned professionals and are also very friendly. They came up with a great solution for my home's odd layout that the other two contractor's representatives did not even consider. Steven also noticed, when I showed him an approval letter from PSE for a rebate, that the letter was written up incorrectly. It said I had electric heat, when I had gas. Steven called PSE and got me approved for a larger amount on the rebate, since I was switching from gas to electric. This error was not caught by anyone else and it saved me a lot of money, which is really important when living on a fixed income. The work was done quickly. Although my 1936 home had some quirky surprises, Steven and Dannie were not deterred! I highly recommend them!

Highly Recommend! Saved me $3k+ compared with the other quotes I received. Steven was very knowledgeable and professional. I had him replace my gas furnace and upgraded my ancient AC to a heat pump. After getting multiple quotes from other companies (including Costco) and exploring the various heat pumps they offered, I decided to hire Steven at Eco Air NW in December to install a new heat pump at my house on Beacon Hill. Not only did he offer me the most reasonable prices, the VRF heat pump he installed for me is one of the best available heat pumps available for a single family home. Steven took his time explaining the options for me and patiently answered all my questions. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Steven and his employee Rock. They were both extremely professional, timely, knowledgeable, and did everything the way it's supposed to be done. I had a blast interacting with both of them, and have even recommended Eco Air NW to all my neighbors and friends. I intentionally waited until the weather turned hot before I wrote my review, and now that I've experienced both cold and hot Seattle days, I can confidently say that the unit Steven installed works great! After the first hot week a couple weeks ago, my wife and kids walked into the house and kept saying how thankful they are for the heat pump Steven and Rock installed! I give them an A++ all around, and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know. I'm really happy with how my heat pump install went. After getting a quote from another local installer, I decided to call Eco Air NW to see how they compared. Gene was able to come out same day and give me a quote that was significantly better priced for comparable equipment. He presented many options and at no point did it feel like I was being 'sold' anything but rather educated on different units at different price points.

The next week, Steven, Evan, and Tyler came out and had the equipment installed and working. They were knowledgeable, polite, and did clean work. I've had the heat pump for a week now and it is working fantastic.

I strongly recommend Eco Air NW. I have an old Seattle home that was remodeled and extended but still relies primarily on the original ductwork. As a result, I have a few hot pockets as my furnace can only pump out heat in a few places, but it needs to be enough to service the entire house. I had just replaced my gas furnace about a year prior, but even after multiple attempts at calibration, it still sounded like being on the tarmac at Seatac whenever it kicked in. I needed something done.

I met with a number of highly rated companies for quotes, but I had the best overall pre-sales experience with Eco Air NW's owner, Steven. Steven quickly determined that a new furnace wouldn't solve my particular problems, and he offered a number of potential solutions including a much cheaper approach to focus on the ductwork only. The crew was able to start work soon after Steven and I finalized the plan. The crew was polite and respectful, and they left the site clean every day. I was totally comfortable with them in my home. The work took about a week due to some of the challenges of an older home. At the end of it, I have a wonderfully cozy home and not a hint of noise. It's nice to have reclaimed space in my basement from where the heater was. The outdoor Daikin unit is very quiet even when running full force. When the city inspected the installation, they only found a couple of small improvements that needed to be made. The crew took care of those quickly.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience and the end result. Eco Air NW should definitely be on your short list if you need HVAC work.
