I recently had the pleasure of working with Hemley’s Alpha-team, Adam and Tony for my septic system inspection, and I cannot speak highly enough of their expertise and professionalism. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that they possessed extensive knowledge about septic systems, and their experience shone through in every aspect of the inspection process.

Adam and Tony approached the job with a meticulous attention to detail that immediately put me at ease. I’ve been a long-time customer of another septic company, but when we faced a pump issue and they couldn’t send a technician for two weeks, I reached out to Hemley’s. They responded promptly, sending a tech the next day. After an unfortunate backup into our downstairs bathroom, the Hemley's team took care of everything. They checked the septic tank, the drainfield, and fixed the problem. I never felt like they were trying to upsell me. I love supporting a local business.

Michel over at Hemley's is a trooper. We have a massive hill leading up to our septic tank and the poor guy had to walk up and down it several times. I did not hear him complain once, even though he had every right to. If you are in need of a pumping i definitely recommend Hemley's septic!!

I give hemleys septic a 5 star rating I have always gone to them for help. They are very professional and come quickly. I was a bit grumpy because I had a pipe burst in my home about a year ago and I am living out of a bathtub. In the process of waiting for the money to due the repairs another pipe burst and than I had a septic clog. Thank you hemleys for all that you do.

I've used Hemley's for years on my Gig Harbor home for pumping needs. They've always been great until now. I've spent the last month working with them on an issue with a new home purchase where our inspector said to have the septic pump checked do due to a noise (entire septic system and pump installed by Hemleys the prior year). From miscommunications between the techs and the office staff and having them come out to the property 3 times because equipment was failing and the office staff says "they said it was fine." The last time they came out Josh literally watched as the system failed. So Josh assured us they would honor the 2 year warranty with a replacement pump for half price. They ordered the new pump and I was put on the schedule. I asked for the estimate to be sent to me and they did not send it until 3 days later when I called again. The estimate was NOT what was quoted by Josh during his visit. So I politely asked the office staff to look into the matter. I believe she did and she called me back to tell me that the written quote was correct (she said that they cannot "resell" the pump... duh, it's broken), not what Josh had quoted me and then proceeded to tell me that the tech was en route to my home (a few hours early and no one was even there). I felt very pressured to "just accept." Luckily this issue isn't emergent as the pump only services our basement, or I would have been forced to accept their inflated quote. Josh was fantastic... so he gets a star. The other tech that came out previously and the office staff not so much as he said there was nothing wrong with it AND failed to test it completely (we asked him to run the bathtub which we know he didn't because it wasn't even wet when we showed up within the hour and full of spider webs). If a pump that is 1.5 years old fails there is something wrong. I own 3 homes in the area and am switching companies as well as both real estate agents on both side of the recent home purchase. Stay away! This just doesn't seem ethical. Luckily, I found someone less expensive that's even adding an alarm. It's a shame that they wouldn't stand by their work or word. Moral of the story: Hemley's installs pump. Pump fails. But it's still cheaper to have it replaced by someone else than have them give you a "warranty" replacement discount.

Hemley’s Septic did an absolutely incredible job with a complicated septic tank repair at my home in Gig Harbor. At the office, Julia and Audra were wonderful to work with, keeping me apprised step by step of all the details that the job involved over a week’s time. On site, Al and his apprentice Josh, worked skillfully, diligently, creatively and efficiently to diagnose and repair a defect in my septic tank.
Hemley’s turned what could have been an incredibly stressful situation, into an experience where I felt I could let my guard down and trust their honesty, fair price, seamless work, and great outcome!

Jacob showed up within the arrival window for my septic inspection. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was pleased by the education he gave me about my septic system and showing me not only how it worked, but showed drawings of the underground original septic build. We are new to having a septic system and came due for our first three-year inspection. The neighbors recommended Hemley’s.

The office called when the crew was on their way, they showed up on time as scheduled, and they answered all our questions. We needed one new riser installed and a couple risers replaced, as well as some adjustments of pump plumbing and alarm wiring. The crew worked hard and seemed efficient, and they treated our yard and property with care as if it were their own.

The work they did will make accessing the tank ports much easier in the future. Of course, we wish it were less expensive but for how much they had to dig, the price seemed fair. And they didn’t pump the tanks unnecessarily, letting us know we had more time until that additional service is needed.

We will use Hemley’s again when we need them!

Our septic pump tank high level started to alarm. Hemley's was quick to respond. I followed the work pretty closely which Al and his team did ... it was first rate ... knowledgeable, honest & expeditious. Turns out my 33 year old pump (pumping up 50 feet) was failing. Replaced the pump and all the other old components. While not cheap, it was necessary and leaves me with peace of mind.

I have Jacob and Fabeien worked for my septic tank system today.They are doing really good job! Since I got my house I haven’t had any issues with it until the alarm went off.My friend recommended Hemley to me.They worked professionally ,told me what was going wrong in my septic system and explained it to me . We called Hemley's after receiving a notice from Pierce County that our system was due for an inspection. Good thing we got that notice, because when the technician opened up the tank, it was almost full. Why? Well, the pump was inoperative, and the tank alarm had been disconnected. After pumping the tank, installing the new pump, and helping me discover where our tank alarm was hidden, a new alarm was ordered and installed with minimal hassle. We couldn't be happier with the work and the professionalism of all of the technicians who assisted us.

They showed up in a timely manner. Which was great. Spent 5 minutes looking at the septic and said it's an electric problem. Bill us lots. Talked to electrician he did not think it was a problem. Called competition they fixed cracked float.

These guys are amazing their technicians know exactly what they’re doing, They are very thorough in their work and have saved me a couple of times when I’ve had septic issues in a pinch.

The best thing about these guys unlike other businesses in the area, they won’t charge you and try to sell you things that don’t need to be done to your septic system unless it’s absolutely needed.

I was having drainage problems all the sudden. Went to their website late last night to schedule a visit. I get a call early the next day to have a visit scheduled the same day! Sean and Al came by to check things out. They found a blockage in the inlet and they took care of the issue in maybe 20-30 minutes. They were great! The estimated price for the visit was already talked about with me from the dispatcher and the end cost for the visit wasn’t too far off. Hopefully no more septic system issues come again for a long time but when it does I’m calling Hemley’s!
