Al was very helpful with quickly identifying a septic line leak today and repairing it. They used their vac truck which was incredibly efficient in digging up the lawn and a safe way to ensure none of the nearby utilities were damaged in the process. Grateful for his professional recommendations on what tools to use for the job and taking the time to educate as to what we were looking at.

We needed help with our septic system. Al and Sean (and another man whose name I forgot) were friendly and very competent. We were afraid we were in for a big mess and a big bill. The situation at our home was unusual. Al and his crews were interested in helping us and really thought outside the box in coming up with a solution. They had to dig up a big section of our yard to execute the repairs. They did a great job digging, fixing and restoring our system and backyard. I was so impressed with how careful and thorough they were with every aspect of the project. They relieved us greatly. THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU WANT TO USE!

Over the last forty years I have used Hemley's septic service.
Today, as per county regulation, I had my septic system inspected. Tony, a most wonderful service workman arrived
on time. He did a thorough inspection, answered all my questions. Everything went so smoothly, so professional.
I will use Hemley's again for my next servicing. Thank You.

My septic backed up into my house last night. Definitely not a fun experience. I called Hemley’s Septic first thing this morning.
I spoke with two different lovely ladies today.
They were both kind, friendly, empathetic, and professional.
They truly understood my needs and concerns.
These gals had Al and Sean to my house within a couple hours after I called.

I was convinced I needed a new pump, which would have cost a few thousand dollars or more. Instead, Al and Sean, took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot and discovered the real issue was a bad cord on the pump.
Oh my gosh! Problem solved without unnecessary expenses.
I was and I still am so grateful for Al and Sean's professionalism.

I know there are septic companies out there that would not have taken the extra step or the extra time to "dig deeper".
They would’ve gone straight to replacing the pump.
That would have been the easy and more expensive route.

Al and Sean wanted to do things right, and they checked every avenue.

Hemley’s has been great since we switched to them last summer. They fixed some issues other companies in the past had missed during inspection. I recently had a very strange issue with my float alarms. Al and Sean I think) came out and were able to get to the bottom of it. They did an excellent job explaining what was wrong and were professional in fixing the issue. The system has been working perfectly since.

We recently requested our septic tank to be pumped and have a system inspection for the county department of health. They showed up to do the inspection, and said they would determine if the tank needed pumped. First thing, the inspector said was the tank needed to be pumped.Then, he proceeded to tell me that my filter was not cleanable or serviceable and needed to be entirely replaced at a fee of twelve hundred dollars. When, in fact, I clean the filter frequently.
And it is serviceable and removable.
They just did not know how to remove it or service it properly. Then, using a series of very inaccurate measurements determined the rate of flow from my pump tank was low and my drain field needed to be cleaned out at another additional cost of two thousand five hundred dollars.Then, they proceeded to manually operate my pump. Draining the pump tank entirely sucking particulates through my pump into my drain field. I just recently had my drain field inspected due to the fact of a couple of trees that were close and I was concerned about tree roots.And it was determined the drain field was just fine and clean. Then, after the inspection, they proceed to tell me that they would put non-compliance on my county report with the Department of Health. For not proceeding with the unnecessary and very expensive repairs. Using the Department of Health to threaten people into doing improper or unnecessary repairs. I would not recommend anyone to use this company for any of their septic needs.

We recently had Hemleys Septic perform a septic clean-out for our 4-bedroom home (4 residents), and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Mike and Greg arrived on time and demonstrated outstanding professionalism. They were incredibly knowledgeable, clearly explained how the process works, and walked me through every step to ensure I understood what was happening. They made sure all safety measures were in place, especially with our tank lid after the work was done since it wasn’t screwed down initially. Their attention to safety put my mind at ease. Their attitudes were friendly and courteous, and their customer service was top-notch. It’s rare to find a team that combines expertise with such a genuine, customer-first approach. Prices were fair and reasonable for the quality of service provided. The entire process took about an hour, which was perfect for my busy schedule. We’re very appreciative and happy that the job was done right!

A slow drain in our sink became a big problem. This service cleaned out the entire pipe. The drain works like new.

Today, the bathroom sink overflowed due to a clog. Their technician cleared it quickly and cleaned up. It’s back to normal.

The emergency situation was handled calmly and efficiently which made a stressful moment easier to manage.

Their experts team fixed a pipe joint that had come loose. The problem was causing minor flooding. The solution worked perfectly. Everything is stable now.

Water backed up into the tub during laundry use. I contacted their crew for assistance. They examined the shared drain and found a deep obstruction. Once cleared, everything drained smoothly again. Great job and very responsive.
