I had power outage two weeks ago, We called Surgey and he came to our house to investigate our problems almost immediately. He is so knowledgeable to explained all the questions and so experienced to scope all the work in details. That really released my worries. The quote is very reasonable and transparent.
Everyday, he came on time and put all the dedicate work. So nice to communicate, think ahead for our needs. And because of his kind attitude that we were able to get temporary power line from National Grid in such short time. We are so satisfied of all the wonderful job he has done for us. We had a great experience with Vlad and Jacob. They stayed for hours to diagnose and fix our issue. Vlad was very kind and explained everything to me not only about the issues but about our home so now I am a more educated homeowner.

Daniel and Jacob came over, provided a quick estimate, and delivered a beautiful install of a new fan/light fixture for our bedroom.

We initially called Surge based on Google reviews to install an EV charger. While they were out we asked them to troubleshoot some long standing electrical issues. We ended up spending a significant amount of money on 4 different projects but the whole process was so quick and efficient from start to finish. They were able to finish all the work in about 3 hours including all the troubleshooting and repairs. Their customer service is excellent and the electricians were very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The company as a whole is very tech savvy from scheduling to invoicing to payment but there is still a solid human touch in the whole process. I think they are likely more expensive but you get what you pay for and we were very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Had him troubleshoot a problem with power not going to our storage room and was able to identify the problem without difficulty. He had a book containing price tiers for services and this was decided on before starting so there were no surprises. Also included a free walkthrough that identified some other problems.

Vlad from Surge Electrical did an excellent job installing a whole-home surge protector and an interlock kit on our panel. He was professional, on time, and very careful with his work – everything looks super clean, tidy, and clearly labeled. He took the time to answer all my questions about this job as well as a few potential future projects, which I really appreciated. This is my second great experience with Surge Electrical, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer next time I need electrical work done.

We were very satisfied with the same day service / electrical repair provided by Surge Electrical. Our technician Daniel was very helpful, patient & knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained our repair options and completed the desired repairs to our complete satisfaction.

I had a very bad experience with this company.
When I called them to schedule the appointment, I told them about the work that needs to be done. I asked for an estimate and info about their fees, they refused to give me numbers and only mentioned their $99 dispatch fee.

Once their technician arrived at my house and before touching or seeing anything, he requested an additional $577 for the basic diagnosis he needs to do to give me an estimate for the repair. This information was never revealed before his visit. You can image why. So basically, you pay $676 just to get an estimate for how much the repair will cost.

On top of that, their technician kept asking me personal question about my ethnicity, nationality, among other things that made me feel uncomfortable. I avoided answering him and changed the subject, yet he insisted and kept repeating his personal questions.

I highly recommend hiring another company. I was tricked by the many good reviews they have. I'm writing the review I wish I had seen before hiring them. Their Yelp reviews aren't as bright.

Needed to replace our old car charger outlet and make updates in the electrical box to accommodate the updated hardware. Both of the technicians (Daniel and Jacob) were kind, friendly and explained what needed to be done. We really appreciated the quick turnaround and would highly recommend their services.

These guys are amazing - they do solid work and leave the house looking spotless when they are done. We’ve had them help us twice now and planning to have them come again to replace some light fixtures. They installed new bathroom fans and also updated all the outlets in our kitchen.

We recently had Surge Electrical out to replace an old chandelier in our very tall, two-story entry and install a new dimmer switch. Daniel and his team were prompt, professional, and incredibly careful working in our new home, and we were very impressed!

What really stood out was the level of detail Daniel brought to the job. After installing our new 12-point pendant chandelier, he took the time to individually adjust each hanging drop to ensure the height and alignment looked just right. His discerning eye and thoughtful approach truly went above and beyond what you'd typically expect from an electrician.

In addition to the install, they also did a complimentary whole-house light bulb check and swap, and provided a free inspection of our electrical panel to ensure everything was safe and working properly.

Daniel Ralph and Vlad G. came by this morning for a home inspection. They were able to accommodate my schedule and find a good time. They were professional and respectful of the home. I had a few questions about EV chargers and surge protectors and Daniel and Vlad were happy to address the concerns I had as well as provided visual examples of products they had on hand that could be potential solutions. Upon the completion of the inspection, they provided clear explanations of red flags and safety best practices to watch out for while charging. I felt involved in the process as they were providing clarity.
