Clayton and his partner came to fix my burned out socket in my wall where I plugged in my portable heater. They were fast, efficient, and friendly! They put a new socket in across the entrance from the one that was burnt so that I am reassured that I won't have trouble there either. Clayton also brought a plug that will tell me if it is overheating again. I am so thankful for these two electricians in the excellent work that they do. My cat can get back to her favorite spot in front of the fire!

Empire is amazing and does excellent work. Frank is a stud - has bailed us out several times with prompt, professional and efficient solutions to our electrical problems and needs. Empire also helped us with a gas furnace issue that I wasn’t aware was in their service offering.

You can call the rest- or you can call the best. They worked me in on the day before Thanksgiving after my new hot water heater installation electrical fail. At a previous visit they quickly tracked down the electrical problem that was shorting out 2 rooms in my house. They are knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. I finally have someone I can trust to call for the work I know I need done on my older home.

Horrible experience do not use empire electric. Getting the quote part was fine and reasonable bid but when day of work showed up very late and lots of confusion between workers and boss on project so a little worried if work even done correctly and they never finished all the jobs and didnt seem to care. Worst electrician experience ever!

The fellas were on time, pleasant, efficient. They checked and fixed an issue with my fuse box,and checked a bathroom fan and made better fuse identifiers in the fuse box.

Empire Electric was hired to take down and install 3 ceiling fans. This was done very professionally and efficiently by Gerry and Estaban. Clean up was included.

I have had my smoke detectors go off when cooking, and even at random times during the night, which was VERY frustrating! I tried many different things, changed out all my detectors, to no avail. Empire Electric came and found that I had a smoke detector that was hooked up wrong and I have had no problems since then. Thank you, Empire Electric!!

Empire Electric USA electrician did a great job installing a new electrical panel and some wiring issues in my home. They arrived on time and worked efficiently.

Empire technicians arrived at my home at the appointed time, and serviced / replaced a defective thermostat. Workmen were courteous, competent, and efficient. Pricing was competitive and well within expectations. We would invite Empire again if necessary .

On time for estimated time of arrival; completed installation of new outside light quickly and efficiently; easy communication.
Later I called to request assistance getting the new replacement outlet to work. Turns out I hadn't pressed the reset button hard enough, (different from older outlets), and had accidentally clicked the test button plugging in a cord. Both techs were kind, respectful when I could not figure out the reset. LOL
I know now!

They totally solved the problem I was having, after a different electrician was unable to do so.

We had a home built for us five years ago. Every since we moved in, we've had a problem with the circuit breaker that feeds power to the washing machine in our laundry room. About 20% of the time we start a new load of wash, the circuit breaker would flip. In the winter, it would happen more often than 20% of the time. We'd have to go out to our garage, flip the breaker back on at our electric panel, and restart the washing machine.

While the home was still under warranty during our first year, we asked the homebuilder to send an electrician out to fix this annoying problem. His grand solution to this problem was to replace the circuit breaker. That solved nothing. We've lived with this annoying problem for five years.

Here in 2025, we finally decided we didn't want to live with this problem any longer. We had Empire Electric come out to see if they had a solution for it.

They noticed that the circuit breaker was a combination type that included a built in GFCI. They thought this might have something to do with the problem, as this type of combined circuit breaker and GFCI tends to be a little more sensitive, and trips a little easier than the way it's usually done... which is to use a normal circuit breaker in the electric panel and then install a local GFCI in the laundry room. They couldn't guarantee that this would solve the problem, but they thought there was a good chance it would. We decided to roll the dice and spend the $300 to have them do it... and it did indeed completely solve the problem of our washing machine tripping the breaker upon starting a new load.

Cheers to Empire Electric for coming up with an effective solution where the other guy was not able to do so!

These guys were fantastic to work with! The whole team was friendly and efficient in their work and very tidy. We had a very messy panel with lots of unlabeled breakers (which they cleaned up and condensed beautifully) and a wire to our well was missed, they came back immediately and got it fixed with a positive attitude. 10/10 recommend these guys- easily a multiple day job and they got it done in a day. I lost power to half my house. They responded fast and were very professional. when the technician arrived they quick found the cause of my problem and began to try to fix it. It was the breaker in the meter box. took about two hours to finish. Very nice people. We plan to use them to totally replace the meter in a few months. It is over 50 years old. I would feel safe telling everyone I know that they can trust this company to do good work quickly.
