I received a couple of bids from different companies. Washington Electric was by far the most professional and conscientious, taking the time to walk me through the generator sizing requirements. Generator was installed quickly and the work was done in a clean and professional manner. I have had a really great experience.

I highly recommend Washington Generators. Every aspect of the process from my initial phone call, the estimator’s visit to the installation was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Each step was very professional and thoroughly explained. Our installer, Jeremy, was extremely professional and I believe went above and beyond throughout the entire process. After the installation was completed, Jeremy walked us through what he had done and very thoroughly explained each component (including the surge protectors, transfer switches, the load control module and the generator). If you are considering a whole home stand by generator, again, I would highly recommend Washington Generators!

We had our annual generator maintenance today. The service was extremely thorough and all our questions were answered. They provided pictures of each part as they found them and what was replaced, what the oil looked like when they arrived and what it looked like after replacement, what filters looked like before and after new ones were installed, etc. The service representative was very professional and left the generator looking like new.

Excellent communication from office and technician. Tech called to ask if he could arrive early. He addressed the issue we were having but to be honest it’s a little early to tell if it’s been resolved as it was an intermittent issue. However he spent lots of time showing us how to use our generator, fixed a couple of small issues and adjusted some settings on the generator. The company who installed it never did that.

The worker who came to our house for a routine generator maintenance was on time, polite and efficient. He was especially kind to my child and pets.

Their service was exceptional!! I initially had a different electrician come, but not only did that electrician say he couldn’t install the fan, but he was going to charge a ridiculous amount after we had already taken down the original fan ourselves and assembled the new one! Needless to say, I was a bit overwhelmed calling around for someone to do the job who I could trust and wouldn’t overcharge me. I’m so glad I found Washington Generators! Erik came out the next day. He was quick, friendly, and charged a good rate. If you’re not sure which company to call, you won’t be disappointed with these guys! I’m keeping their card handy for all future jobs.

We just had our generator installed by Washington Generators May 1 of this year. The installation presented them with numerous challenges which they addressed and overcame successfully.

Placement was difficult as the generator unit had to fit in a niche with only minimum required clearances in three of four directions. The unit ended up within one inch of its intended location. Routing of both gas supply and wiring to the ATS were also a challenge as they required not only trenching but also concrete coring to access their respective locations. The final routing ended up not requiring any interior wallboard openings which had been anticipated but happily avoided. The total installation was completed in a neat, clean and professional manner – the entire team rose to all of the challenges and did a great job. All the while patiently answering all of the many questions that came up. As an added bonus they were all very personable and treated our home with respect and care.

The front office also did their job effectively and efficiently. Communication was excellent and timely and I always knew the status of the job. Plus, they had the machine in inventory so installation could have happened within a few days of contract signing, but we delayed it for personal reasons, which they accommodated graciously.

All in all, Five Stars and I would highly recommend Washington Generators - in fact, continuing to work with them with a maintenance contract.

We had a tiny gas leak in our hot water heater hose that they replaced promptly under warranty. Great service!

Kurt and Canaan did an awesome job replacing my original 1949 screw-in fuse panel. It was not an easy project and required imaginative planning and execution. Kurt was flexible with timing and managed to keep the power shut offs to a minimum. Communication and scheduling from the office was thorough and timely. I would not hesitate to recommend Washington Generators for your electrical needs.

This is the worst unprofessional service I got. I quoted through Costco for home generator, they provided price 3x the listing on Generac website. When I asking for details they searched for my employment info and told me “this is the margin we get”.
How creepy is that?! Seattle is an area with high inflation, but this isn’t the reason you can search for clients personal info!! None of your business! Never ever!!!

The office staff and generator technicians, are absolutely "Awesome!" My wife and I had a Generac generator for backup. Pleased with their customer service and product, I had one installed at my beloved mother's home. I told my mom, "It's better to have a generator and not need it, than to need a generator and not have one." She agreed. If you don't like the frigid cold or have to endure extreme temperatures during the summer, get a Generac generator. A peace of mind is something that is almost non-existent nowadays.
