Not recommending the JN Heating and Air.

He was dispatched to diagnose issue with my Heat Pump through American Home Shield. Initially, the communication was good, he showed up on time and diagnosed the issue. When doing a leak test, they refilled the unit with nitrogen and left. They seemed very trustworthy, so after seeing the cost of repair being higher than with the first contractor that AHS sent to me, I reluctantly agreed to pay $2,400 for refilling the unit.

Unfortunately, two days after their visit, I heard a loud noise and a burned smell outside. When I went outside to see what happened, I noticed that they did not disconnect the unit and left it energized which damaged the Heat Pump.

When I asked them to cover the cost of replacement (even partially), they declined saying that they can discount a new unit if I agree to replace it with them.

Overall really good experience with our heater. Once it was looked at the next day the parts were in and repaired. 4stars due to communication with the office. At times writhin the week as I tried to contact the office I would have to try calling numerous of times before I was able to reach someone. But overall was done right and at a fair price.

Not only didn’t they fix the issue, they have broken the water pipe ( that I constantly told them to be careful)!!! My heat and air was running perfectly prior and now it doesn’t blow at all!!! They broke my thermostat, bent a tube on my furnace, broke the filter door, dragged in mud and grass throughout my kitchen and living room carpet, sat on my garbage can, repeatedly sat their tools on my clothes and furniture and I don’t even know what else that I don’t know is wrong!!!! This is an emergency situation and expect someone to call me and get my furnace fixed and running!
