Reviews of local pros in Kingston, Washington

Story and Jimmy expertly felled several trees that we needed removed. They showed up on time and jumped right in to the work. Their extensive skill and knowledge were apparent from the first moment. Much appreciated, as we would not dare this kind of work on our own. Story worked with us to keep the project within our budget, too. I highly recommend Roots Tree Service!

I am very happy with the work performed by the Roots Tree Services team. They were prompt, courteous, and attentive. They worked with me to set a priority and remain within my budget. The yard was perfectly clean after their work was done. Thank you for your excellent service to our trees.

Due to a mix up with another contractor, I found out that I needed a tree trimmed in under a week so a large truck could get behind the building for a septic repair. Story came out the next day for a bid and 3 days later to trim the tree, he finished the work before I even heard from the other company I reached out to. Price was reasonable, work was good and he did a good job of cleaning up.

They were easy to communicate with, prompt and efficient with time management and did a fantastic job! They worked together efficiently and extremely carefully to not damaged buildings and surrounding plants. I've worked with many different tree services over the years and this was the most positive of them all. I will definitely use them again for tree services in the future.

Roots Tree Service is an extremely professional service. The crew arrived on time, worked continuously taking 5large trees down and trimming up several. They responded immediately to home owner’s requests and hauled debris away. We highly recommend using them for tree removal. The owner Story was wonderful to work with and charges for work extremely fair.

Called Roots Tree Service and Story came over the same day. Put me in his schedule for the very next week. Immediately sent an estimate via email. Came this morning with a crew of 4 - and they were done and gone by 4 pm. Got a great deal of work accomplished - tall trees limbed and others removed - and cleaned up. Very polite and friendly and professional. Thanks

These guys did a truly masterful job of navigating a bamboo forest and bringing down two very old Alders right next to the cabin! I'm super impressed and all kudos possible for a job well done!!!

If you have any tree cutting needs, call Story. Story stopped by to take a look at the trees we needed cut down and immediately had a plan, and knew how to get the trees cut down safely and efficiently. He has excellent communication, and was on time, prepared, organized and efficient. Story and his crew are professional, courteous and incredibly skilled. I highly recommend Roots Tree Services.

The owner of Roots Tree Services responded promptly to my request for an estimate for some tree removal work promptly and at a fair price. He arrived with the equipment and staff he needed to do the job exactly when he said he would. They were respectful of our property, did exactly what was promised, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. We’re very happy with their services.

Roots Tree Services did an excellent job taking down hazard trees and clearing the hillside behind our house. They were able to chip the branches back onto the hillside left us a stack of firewood for our outdoor fire pit.

Story was very prompt with the estimate and got me scheduled quickly for tree removal and pruning. He and his crew showed up promptly, took the trees down in a safe manner, and checked with me on the pruning of the trees to ensure it met my approval. He and his crew cleaned up the area well. Would highly recommend them, very fair pricing.

We removed 3 large cedars, both angled quite a bit and one split into two trees 12' up. They were roped down so not to damage the asphalt driveway and all limbs were chipped and removed (option) from the site. the stumps were both leveled at the same height, one cut over 48" in length. Good guys and safety smart.

They arrived on time and did a great job. The trees look great now and my cherry tree is no longer gangly. Great post-work cleanup as well. I highly recommend them.

Had an urgent situation on a Saturday morning, heard the sounds of a cracking tree as it leaned over the house. My call was quickly answered and the situation was resolved within 3 hours. Story and the crew arrived on time, as promised. They were professional, focused on safety, used proper equipment, very friendly and engaging. I wish I could give them six stars.

I had a very positive experience. Work was completed per our previous meeting
Work was cleaned up
All debris was picked up & limbs were chipped up and hauled away. EXCELLENT PRICE & SERVICE. THANKS

Storie was ahead of time by a few minutes.
He introduced me to his helper, and in a very short time had manipulated the branchs and skillfully fell a heavily leaning top of the tree safely to the ground. I'm very pleased with the timelyness and the clean-up of the whole experience. Gary

Awesome job! Arrived as promised, very professional and great guys to work with! Look forward to having them back to take care of another area on the property! Story & crew are great! Highly recommend their services!!!

Story and crew removed a cedar and a birch in a single day. Everything went great, even dealing with a fence and shrubs in the vicinity. They shredded and hauled away the branches and foliage, leaving us with a pile of firewood. We would definitely call Roots again.

I called to get a bid on trimming a variety of trees on our property, including apple trees that had not been well maintained. I received a quick return call, and a quick site visit to go over the details.

These guys were great. Pros from start to finish. Courteous and friendly. They did absolutely everything we talked about, did it very well, and checked in periodically and at the end to make sure all was done to our liking.

Final result looked great! Everything cleaned up and hauled away. Very reasonable pricing.

I highly recommend.

Rooots Tree & Property Services is "Top Drawer" in my Book. Story(CEO) & his right hand man (Jimmy) are truly the best of the best. Highly professional, courteous, and friendly. Estimates were held to even when the job proved a bit more complicated. Impressive company from the very to the last trimmings gathered up and carted away. Problem solving techniques to mitigating dead and dangerous trees (some exceeding more than 80') safely and efficiently was a work of art. They are that good!.

We had an excellent experience with the ROOTS arborist team that removed two large, damaged trees from our property.

The trees were both on a very steep slope.

The Roots team were professional from start to finish, arriving on time, working efficiently, and keeping the area safe and tidy throughout the process. The crew handled the job with impressive skill, especially given the size and condition of the terrain. Cleanup was thorough, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable, knowledgeable tree care.
