Thadd's communication was thorough and timely, and the crew of Ricky, Tim and Jon worked extremely hard during some very difficult weather conditions, they were friendly and courteous and answered any questions we had on the design and construction.
When completed is was beautifully done, we are very pleased with the finished result. We Highly recommend Wight's Deck + Design, and we would totally use them again.

Thadd and his crew came and did a complete rebuild and update of my deck, including completely redoing the shape while using most of the existing structure, rebuilding the stairs, adding accent lights with dimmers, accenting with picture framing, and replacing the railing. The workmanship was excellent, and they did a good job of proactively reaching out to me for important decisions. Thadd had good design ideas and helped guide us when we weren't sure what would look best. We added a few things as we went (accent lights, dimmers, picture framing, stair riser layout), and he was reasonable and professional when working out details of the final invoice. He was consistently responsive and helpful via email. Highly recommended.

I found Thadd to be a voice of reason on a rather confrontational message board about composite deck recommendations. I was considering a number of options and I reached out to Thadd via email for advice. I was building my deck three thousand miles away along the coast of Maine. I thought it a long shot that Thadd would reply to my many questions as there was no business opportunities in doing so. But in fact, he was very gracious and generous in sharing very valuable advice drawing upon his considerable skills and many years of experience in designing and installing quality decking. His work speaks for itself. Had he been local, I would have very much welcomed the opportunity to work with Thadd.

Wight Deck and Design just completed a gorgeous new deck for us using TimberTech material and we could not be happier with the results. It was quite a large expansion with a fair amount of complicated angles and transitions, and every last detail is to perfection.
The crew was super professional, friendly, and very respectful of our household. At the end of every work day the job site was completely cleaned up as if no one had been there. They arrived punctually every day, worked hard and competently, and we knew what to expect during each phase of the project.
Equally important, the job was finished on budget and on time. Props to Thadd, Josiah, Rick and the rest of the crew!

We had a large deck and outdoor kitchen project installed and Thadd and his team were very responsive and thorough. The work turned out great! The project took a bit longer than expected, but every setback was communicated effectively. Many of the setbacks were out of their hands and they did a great job making up lost time and services.

I was very impressed with the work they did and their communication along the way. The whole crew was very polite and courteous.

Erick and Geraldo did a bathroom remodel (from tub to walk-in shower) in my condo and did a fantastic job. It was a detailed job that they did with professionalism and courtesy. They even added a light in the niche which works great as a night light.

The work was excellent - the best we have ever had from a contractor. They were great to work with and very responsive to our questions. They had done some minor work previously for us and we were very pleased so when we wanted an old deck removed and a new deck built, they were our first choice - and the right choice!

Small siding and framing repair job. Showed up on the scheduled date, the work was done quickly and looks great. Excellent post-work report with lots of progress pictures along the way so you know exactly what happened. Will definitely use again.

We hired Eastside GC for a prompt business need in our warehouse to do some rough carpentry work under our racks! We needed carpeted floors with hooks to install bungees for all of our art storage to protect our inventory from getting damaged! They were prompt to scope out the work, provide a quote and stayed late to get the job done for us in one day. Extremely thankful we got lucky finding someone so great on quick notice. Highly recommend this contractor!

Negative Review for Onsite Solutions — A Truly Disturbing Experience With Galen
My experience with Galen from Onsite Solutions was one of the most frightening contractor situations I’ve ever faced. He presented himself as someone who had worked on major Microsoft and Meta projects, but based on what we saw, it felt far more like he was a contractor trying to inflate his credibility. His “company” was just him and an office manager, Mechelle—nothing like the operation he described.
He promised to subcontract the framing to a qualified professional. Instead, he did it himself, and the results were devastating. His work caused serious damage to our home, and it became painfully clear he couldn’t follow even basic structural engineering requirements. A simple two‑week project has spiraled into four chaotic, stressful months that left us feeling unsafe in our own house.
The misrepresentation, the evasiveness, and the damage he caused were overwhelming. The situation has escalated to the point where there is now a lien against his bond.
Based on our experience, I strongly warn others to stay far away from Galen and Onsite Solutions. This was genuinely one of the most alarming and stressful contractor experiences we’ve ever endured.

Our experience with Galen at Onsite Solutions was extremely disappointing and concerning.

He misrepresented himself early on (initially presenting as an employee, later revealed as the owner) and promised to use a qualified framing subcontractor, but instead did the work himself—resulting in serious structural issues that required engineering review and extensive rework.

What should have been a 2-week project turned into a 4-month ordeal. We gave him a clear path to fix it using qualified professionals or proper supervision, but he chose not to, leading to escalating delays and costs.

His subcontractors arrived unprepared, key scope items were missed, and others had to step in to finish the job. To make matters worse, his subcontractors filed and served us with a preliminary lien on our home without warning or any communication. The subcontractors broke tiles upstairs in our bathroom and shower.
There was garbage left that they refused to pick up.

Here are photos of the mess we have had to live in for 4 months and are still dealing with to date.

OnSite Solutions delivered outstanding service from start to finish. Their team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced in their work. Communication was consistent throughout the project, and they followed through on every commitment without delays or issues. The quality of workmanship exceeded expectations, and the job site was kept clean and organized at all times. Highly reliable company that takes pride in doing things right the first time. Would confidently recommend to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality service.

Great experience from start to finish!

First, The welding inspection went really bad, and then they tried to over bill by 10k. The constant nonsensical and threatening emails from Michelle was completely unnecessary. And, Galen doesn't know how to apologize, or take responsibility for his bad decisions.
