We had our main floor partially remodeled. New flooring, paint, and a partial kitchen remodel (reconfigured island). Elevated home remodel did a great job. With any kind of remodel, there are going to be little details that need to be addressed. Nothing will go completely perfectly. How the general contractor deals with things that go wrong is more important as all the things that go right. From the start Miki explained his philosophy on home remodeling. He knows that your house is not just a house, it is a home, a place for your family, an investment. He told us that if anything is wrong, no matter how big or small, we can just tell him and he would take care of it. For example, the painters that he subcontracted did a really messy job. Miki made sure it was all corrected. When we asked Miki to fix the legs on our kitchen island and add another coat of paint, he said no problem. He never said no to anything we asked of him. He was approachable and respectful of our home. Overall, everything went smoothly. I recommend you hire him for your project.

The entire team at Fix4U are awesome to work with. Julie's knowledge of design and ability to calm frantic customers who need help with decisions was much appreciated. I contacted Fix4u after seeing their truck in our street when they were working on my neighbor’s house. I have been able to schedule for the next day an appointment with their project manager Miki, first contact was really good. I wanted to do some remodeling in my house for longtime, including painting of 3 rooms, change the basement’s carpet for laminate floor and remodel of the kid’s bathroom, Miki gave us great ideas. After vetting several companies over a period of almost two months, we decided to go with Elevated Home Remodeling. We chose them because of these reasons. 1. Owners Miki and Julie are very friendly, and we had good vibes with them. 2. They listened to our needs and wants. 3. They had a good plan for installing an overhead exhaust vent, the most challenging issue. Our remodel involved a completely new island with new stove, overhead exhaust vent and make-up air system, and a relocated second sink. Older tile countertops and backsplash were to be replaced with quartz countertops and tile backsplash. A plan for the new island was done with a lot of cooperation to make sure my “wish list” was fulfilled. Miki oversaw our project, keeping us informed about schedules and plans. There's nothing better than word of mouth when it comes to remodeling. After all, you have to pack your stuff, as if you're moving, leave it for a (hopefully) set period, surrender your keys, and hope for the best.

You hope that the contractor you hired is professional, courteous, has an eye for home design, color selection and matching, a good understanding of functionality as well as looks. You hope that the contractor you selected will not get you in trouble with the neighbors, with the neighborhood. But most of all, you hope that when you get back to your place, you are going to find it way better than the way you left it.

You want to be involved every step of the way, but you also want to be able to trust the professionalism of the people you hired. After all, you work in a completely different industry, and your own knowledge about hardwood floors, paint, bathroom, showers, leveling, and other interesting stuff is limited at best.

Friends we trust recommended Miki and Julie. We met with them. Right away we felt a connection. Julie is the interior designer. Miki is the project manager. Julie was able to slowly but surely extract from us what we really wanted, and model it. When she was done, we knew exactly what it is we were getting. Once we agreed on all, floors, wall and ceiling paint, bathroom tiles, vanity, counter, mirrors and lighting, Miki took the keys and the project started.

Miki committed to time and schedule, and was able to keep it for the most part. Truth be told, if it wasn't for the bathroom counter, which wasn’t at his control, it would have finished earlier than planned.

But as I said before, the “wow” effect is when you open the door for the first time, and your eyes go over the results. Then you say "wow" using your inside voice, then the outside voice. Then you try to remember what this place looked like before, and you realize three things: you can't, you don't want to, and it doesn't matter. It is great, wonderful, and this is the way it always was, or should have been.

Elevated home remodel renovated our newly purchased house, and we absolutely love it!

Aside from the fantastic hands-on job, the whole process and experience were great. Miki was in touch with us throughout the process. He always made sure to keep us updated and involved in every step of the way. Our timeline was very challenging and the project itself ended up also bringing some unexpected challenges. Nonetheless, Miki and the crew stayed on top of it and were able to do a great job on time.

Our living room got a complete makeover - They removed and changed walls to open up the space. The new hardwood floors and fresh paint to the drywall and brick wall gave the space an updated look and fresh feeling. We absolutely love it!

They also did our entire interior paint, removed walls, sanded hardwood floors, installed light fixtures, and other improvements around the house. Miki made sure all of our concerns were taken care of. Everything ended up looking amazing.

The planning and designing was great for us to express what we wanted and they showed us how these could be done as well as other things we hadn’t even thought possible.
