Plumbing reviews in Kirkland, Washington

We recently had the pleasure of working with Frank and his team for the relocation of our electric water heater in our new home, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Frank, the owner, came in person to give us a quote and his professionalism and honesty were immediately evident. As new homeowners, we felt it was prudent to get a second quote, but Frank's was $1,000 cheaper than the next one, confirming we were in good hands!!!
Luca, who came to do the work, was equally fantastic. He was punctual, efficient, and took great care to ensure everything was done perfectly. The entire team was responsive, quick to schedule, and incredibly empathetic to our needs and concerns.
We wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services. Their combination of expertise, affordability, and customer care is truly unmatched. Thank you, Frank and Luca, for making this process seamless and stress-free! -
We had great experiences with Frank and his team! They did a great job helping us replace old house waterline, and helping us with dash washer leakage issue. I had many quotes from other plumbing companies that ask me to do work not really needed. Frank and the team is always honest and patiently explain to me why something is needed and some not. Highly recommended!!

If you mostly care about speed and price, Rooter-pal is great.
If you also care about quality and attention to detail, not so much.
After a water damage incident in our basement laundry room, we had the walls open and thought it was a good opportunity to get some of the plumbing fixed and install new shut-offs/hose-bibs before repairing the drywall.
Rooter-pal installed a new laundry box, a water hammer arrestor, added new sink lines, repaired a water line to our fridge, installed frost-free hose bibs, and installed new water shut-offs for the hose bibs. *And* hydro-jetted our french drain system.
During all of this, one of the workers pointed out that since we have a gas water heater, it should be elevated off the floor to prevent a fire from flammable liquids when parking the car near it. I called the water heater company to confirm, and learned that practically all gas water heaters manufactured after 2004-ish no longer have this issue. They are flammable vapor ignition resistant (FVIR). Having such outdated knowledge should have been a red flag.
When they installed new lines, they didn't cap off the old ones--which could eventually lead to a future leak. We had to call them back to cap them off, the first time was no-charge since they returned for other work, but the second time we realized they didn't cap off *another* one we were charged $250 for the 10 minutes it took to cap it.
When we finally got new drywall and put a laundry machine in there we discovered the laundry box is way too small--the water valves barely fit. And the water hammer arrestor isn't stopping the hammering that occurs when the washer fills (video--sound on).
We've already given them thousands of dollars, and don't want to bother having them come back to charge more to fix these things.
They were all nice people and thoroughly checked things we were concerned about, just not very detail-oriented. The owner was constantly on the phone booking other jobs, so it's clear they are often in a rush to finish up so they can move on to the next thing. -
Luca was incredible! Super nice, informative and did above and beyond to get the job done. Frank and his team at Rooter-Pal came highly recommended and I can see why. Will be my go-to plumber from here on out!

Frank is the best! Smooth conversation from end to end, quick root cause and installation. Couldn’t ask for a better plumbing service.

Called after I broke a pipe. Frank answered and offered to come shut off water as soon as he could. I had water off and Frank said his Team would come fix my problem first thing in morning, at 8 to10 they were to arrive.
I called Frank at 8 and said I am ready. He said he himself would be there in a few minutes.
My problems got fixed.
I liked them so much I decided to have some drain cleaning and a difficut tub drain replaced. They plugged me into the schedule knowing I needed my repairs done quickly.
I have Frank now as a friend when I experience plumbimg emergencies.
So glad to know these guys. -
Had Luca come out to assess backed up drain from toilet, arrived on time, explained everything and even gave some helpful suggestions for the future. Will definitely use Rooter-Pal again!

Rooter-Pal Plumbing was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work, diligent and competent. Frank was fabulous. We had a leaking toilet that needed to be replaced. I have disabilities and needed a tall toilet. They listened to me and supplied a 19 inch toilet as requested, tested for water damage and once everything was cleared, installed the toilet. I plan to use them again to upgrade my second toilet and replace my hot water heater.

We live in Kirkland and had Rooter Pal Plumbing replace our shower valve in the master bath. They did an awesome job — showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and finished the work quickly and neatly. The valve works great and they left the bathroom spotless. We’ll definitely call them again and recommend them to neighbors in Kirkland!

Rooter-pal came, same day, to clear our kitchen drain. Communication, setting our expectations, work and cleanup all exceeded what we have come to expect from most contractors . We will not hesitate to recommend Rooter-pal to anyone we know, who needs a plumber!

1/25/2025 Update! My 2 year old Rheem water heater gas valve decided to croak on a Friday morning. It was going to take 2 weeks to ship me a new one and no local companies had one. Frank and Luca were awesome at advising me on the warranty process and ran down to pick up the replacement WH and got it installed before dinner! Once again excellent customer service, professionalism, honesty and follow through. Thank you RooterPal! My wife/life is happy again!

Luca and Frank were prompt and showed up on time. They aren’t the cheapest but weren’t the most expensive either. I had them install a utility sink in the garage and had them add a spigot to the outside of the garage. They did great work, great clean up and accommodated my schedule. Plus they offer a 1 year warranty on their work. Thanks guys! -
Frank and Luca provided excellent customer service for our septic plumbing issue. They were able to schedule us with same-day service which was a huge relief. They were super efficient, professional, and pleasant. They did a fabulous job and we highly recommend their services!

RooterPal Plumbing did an outstanding job replacing our recirculating pump in Kirkland. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. The technician explained everything clearly, completed the installation quickly, and left the work area spotless. Our hot water is running perfectly again, and the whole process was stress-free. I highly recommend RooterPal Plumbing for anyone in Kirkland needing reliable plumbing service!

I had an outstanding experience working with Frank and his team. From the first call, Frank was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about solving the issue rather than just getting the job done quickly. He explained everything clearly, gave me an honest estimate upfront, and showed up right on time.
The work itself was top-notch. They diagnosed the problem fast, fixed it efficiently, and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. What stood out most was how respectful and friendly they were throughout the process, it’s rare to find that level of professionalism and courtesy these days.
Frank clearly takes pride in his work and treats every job as if it were his own home. I’ve already recommended his company to a few neighbors and will absolutely call him again for any future plumbing needs.
If you’re looking for reliable, skilled, and trustworthy plumbers, I highly recommend Frank and his team! -
Rooter-Pal Plumbing is hands down the best plumbing company I’ve ever worked with. Frank and his team, especially Luca, are reliable, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Simply put — they are the only plumbing company for me.
I first met Frank during an emergency back in December 2022 when a pipe burst in our garage on Christmas Eve during the snowstorm. In a panic, I searched Google for a plumber with great reviews, and Rooter-Pal came up. I called, and Frank immediately picked up. He asked me to FaceTime so he could see my water main and valves. Within seconds, he identified that it was the outdoor bib pipe that burst and guided me to shut it off. In literally five seconds, he solved what felt like a major disaster. I booked him right away to replace the pipe, and he did a fantastic job.
Fast forward almost three years later—I needed to replace my water main shut-off valve because the original builder had placed it right next to the HVAC vent, making it impossible to turn. I sent Frank a picture, and right away he noticed that my 22-year-old water heater was already leaking and way overdue for replacement. He and Luca came in, replaced the water heater tank, installed a new shut-off valve that I can easily turn from the garage, and even replaced a Delta shower cartridge for me.
Frank is a true problem-solver, and both he and Luca take pride in their work. Every work they’ve done for me has been outstanding - efficient, thorough, and high quality. I will always call Rooter-Pal for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended! Thank you Frank and Luca! -
Amazing from phone call to completion of work. Saturday afternoon we found water coming out of a landscaping wall. After utilities came and turned off the water, I found Frank on Google and gave him a call. He was nice and actively listened on the phone, then was even able to come early Sunday. Once seeing the issue, he was ready to get to work to try and get water back on for us as soon as possible. Due to some interferences they had to dig to try and locate the pipe, but not only did they work diligently, but they were very careful with the landscaping. To the point that they dug some plants and temporarily potted them to make sure they would still be healthy.
Even after hours of digging, once they located the pipe leak, then quickly (and properly) fixed the pipe and started refilling the holes. They not only filled the hole, but nicely replanted the plants and left the area cleaner than they found it to the point of raking the dirt.
Hands down amazing people and work. And loved how they would explain things, in a way you know they know what they are doing.
Frank and team, thank you again for your tireless work. You are all much appreciated. -
I had a great experience working with Frank from Rooter Pal Plumbing to replace my water heater. I got quotes from multiple contractors but decided to go with Frank since he explained everything with a lot of detail and patience to make sure I understood what was needed. He was thorough, yet didn't overwhelm me with false information or try to oversell his services.
If you're looking to get your water heater replaced, look no further! You might get cheaper quotes from other companies but most of them are not licensed plumbers and use a cheaper brand of water heater. Rooter Pal installed a Bradford White water heater with brass fittings, which are way more durable than what the cheaper competitors use.
He was able to accommodate me in his schedule pretty quickly and made the whole process seamless. He even came back to replace an out-of-stock part free of charge. Rooter Pal will be my go-to for all my plumbing needs in the future.
Thank you doing a great job, Frank and Luca! -
I have used them a few times in the last few months for different things. The service is reliable and they arrive when scheduled. The worker are professional and courteous at all times and were never shy about answering questions. I like the work they do and would have no problem hiring them again.

We had a major leak and our regular plumbing couldn't make it until later in the day. We called RW and they were able to fit us in much sooner. They did such a good job and were there for me so I will be calling them next time I have any plumbing problems.

Be aware... if you call and request an evaluation of a problem and and estimate of cost for repairs, you will be charged $59 plus tax for a service call. If for any reason you don't accept the estimate or are not able to allow the work to be done at that time, you'll be charged for an additional service call when/if the work is done.
Bottom line... you have to accept their estimate and have the work done during the visit or you will incur $120 in service charges. This was not explained by the individual (dispatcher) I spoke with to request the estimate. Unsure why a truck with 2 plumbers is required to evaluate a problem and provide a written estimate. Other contractors I've dealt with retain an estimator expressly for assessing problems and giving bids. Why is the assumption you'll accept their estimate without any questions or comparisons AND do the work while they're on site, regardless of the time of day, the time that might be required, or compatibility with your schedule.
FYI... the truck wasn't signed as RW Plumbing. Was told the Danika company had bought RW Plumbing several years ago. -
Our outdoor spigot handle had become stiff and hard to turn. Their team replaced the internal stem assembly. It operates smoothly again.
