I am not impressed. It is very expensive, $400 for 10 minutes to "diagnose" our well, they did not tell me up front. I will use someone else in the future. For 2 quick visits and the second probably because they did not fix it right the first time, I paid more than $800.

Well pump went out. Aaron came out within an hour and had it running again for a great price. He is also going to be helping with my upcoming ADA bathroom remodel. As a disabled veteran, I can honestly say, we need more honest contractors and tradesmen like Aaron.

Were without water due to a bad leak in a shower faucet and called on a Friday. We were told the owner, Aaron, had been contacted and said he’d come out Saturday morning. But late morning, no show or call, so we called him and he said he couldn’t make it out but would be here Sunday at 9am. Again, no show and no call. Tried to call him, but no answer. No water all weekend.
I realize it was a weekend and we would have been happy if he’d shown up at any time. But not even a call? It’s now Monday, and still no call to at least apologize. We called another plumber who came out promptly and had our water back on and faucets and toilet fixed in no time.
I guess John’s can afford to lose customers. Brad way to run a business. If you can’t come out, just be upfront and say so!

The crew was courteous, professional, and made sure the gas line repair was done safely and thoroughly. They kept me informed through the process and left everything in good shape. Solid, reliable work overall.

3/13/2025 - After discussing a water heater issue by phone with the owner, I received fast, same day professional install of a new Bradford White 50 gal. residential water heater. DJ is a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced plumber. Very pleased with the fair price and installation. I highly recommend this business for your plumbing needs. Thank you!

My recent experience with John’s Plumbing revealed a level of organizational failure that is frankly astonishing for a business that continues to operate in our community. The technicians who originally serviced my home did an excellent job, and I paid cash in full at the time the work was completed. For nearly a year, there was no indication of any outstanding balance.

Then, 11 months later, I began receiving emails and multiple phone calls claiming I had never paid. Their receptionist was remarkably unprofessional—interrupting constantly, unwilling to listen, and citing “high turnover” in their billing and reception departments as the explanation for the confusion. While that may be true, it is not an acceptable justification for attempting to retroactively collect money already paid.

What is more troubling is that, after being informed of their mistake, the company still chose to escalate the issue and send it to collections rather than take responsibility for their own internal disarray. This is not a minor oversight; it is a serious lapse in record-keeping, customer service, and professional ethics.

A company incapable of maintaining accurate payment records or retaining competent administrative staff should not be trusted with emergency services or anything requiring reliability. I would strongly caution anyone considering John’s Plumbing to take this experience into account. Their management practices create unnecessary stress and financial risk for their customers.

John’s Plumbing is highly recommended from me to all my friends and family. Not only do they care for their customers by making sure they aren’t paying a hassle for their service, they are efficient in all the work they do and explain it step by step to make sure you know exactly what you’re getting or what’s going wrong. Gabriel was friendly, communicative, & very hard working! Will always recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services and will continue to give them my business!

Huge Thanks to John’s Plumbing & Pumps Inc. My bathroom sink was blocked. The two technicians were professionals, cleared the clog efficiently, super friendly, explained everything clearly. I highly recommend them for any plumbing emergency.

Two knowledgeable guys DJ and TJ. I had a leak in the craw space under my kitchen, which they repaired. However I also decided to get the plumbing evaluation of the whole house, since I’ve had leaks before. Sure enough there was a small leak to my laundry room, which was easily repaired when I had questions about my pump and well, which have not been inspected in years.

So the two leaks were repaired, and I got lots of useful about the pump, the hot water heater, and even about toilets and sinks, which I am planning on changing out as part of my further renovation. Excellent service!

We lost our water abruptly after I changed out the inline filter on Thanksgiving day. No apparent reason. I had done some preliminary troubleshooting but finally concluded it was probably the well pump. I contacted John’s Plumbing and Pumps on Thanksgiving night assuming I’d be leaving a message. To my surprise Aaron answered my call. Who answers their phones on a holiday? He said he’d be out the next morning. Aaron arrived and confirmed the tests I had done earlier. He concluded it probably was the well pump and he replaced it. Still no water. After some discussion we concluded it might be a break in the supply line under the house. We found the break and Aaron repaired it. I was very pleased with Aaron’s knowledge and professionalism. When I need plumbing work done in the future I’ll be calling John’s.

Great experience, start to finish. Aaron was professional and engaging and went over all options before starting work, including testing our water. The installation team was great as well. Friendly, informative, and efficient.
We were using another company for our water filtration service, but John's is a huge improvement in customer service, product knowledge, and all around savings.
    HIGHLY recommend!

I had a great experience with John’s Plumbing & Pumps. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and showed up when they said they would. The technician took the time to clearly explain what the issue was and what my options were before doing any work, which I really appreciated. It felt super transparent

The repair was done efficiently and everything was left clean when they finished. It’s obvious they know what they’re doing and take pride in their work. It’s not always easy to find reliable contractors these days, but these guys were honest, responsive, and super easy to work with.

If you’re in the Lacey or Thurston County area and need plumbing work done, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend John’s Plumbing & Pumps to anyone

I was in need of plumbing service. I found this service on Google. It had Home Advisor approval.
I made an appointment and John came out. The issue was a leak in water line. He evaluated the problem then referred me to company to locate.
After the area was located he came back to fix it.
The water meter wouldn’t turn all the way off. John called the PUD to come and repair meter.
This was done and in the same day which was quite late he came back and fixed the water leak concerned if waited until Monday there might be a lake in the yard.
He made sure I knew what was going on as the project progressed.
    He did a great job
I would recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing service.

We have used this service a few times. John is always the one who comes to take care of the issue. He has always been on time, professional and pleasant. He is very clear with his plan and bid before doing the job, which he completes throughly and competently.Thank you for your excellent work, John!

John showed up at our house on time and diagnosed the options to getting faster hot water to the kitchen. He suggested an under counter water heater in line with the tankless water heater located a long distance away. He came the next day and installed the tank . The installation was very professional and he checked the drain line under the house and sealed all the pipes. We look forward to having nearly instant hot water.

They came out to move a vent pipe, that was discovered, and in the way of adding a new window. LJ pointed out an issue he noticed with the drain on our kitchen sink, while he was here for the vent. Gave us a couple options on how to fix it, and was able to take care of the drain issue while he was here, without making another trip out. Very happy with everything!

We had our old Kenmore water softener upgraded to a professional unit by Ean at West Coast plumbing. His quote for install plus some extras that we needed was as good as anybody else and attention to detail and knowledge was excellent, i highly recommend this company and their service. Our water so much better now.

I would never go with another company after having this company come to our house. The first time they came they went above and beyond trying to get water back to us after being without water for 5 days, they even stayed after dark in the rain and muck on day two to make sure we had running water inside. This was after having to pull the well head, and replace the entire pressure tank. After going home they came back and cleaned up all the left over mess so that we didn't have to find a way to remove it.

But they went above and beyond again today. We where without power for a little over 24 hours, and when it finally came back on we were again without water. This was only about a month later, so you can imagine all our frustrations. I got on the phone with them first thing this morning. They not only got back to me as soon as they got into the office, they had Ean out at my house as soon as he was available, and he fixed the issue, which was a fuse panel on a power pole. So it wasn't even with the pump house, but he fixed it so we didn't go without water again. This company is all about making sure us out here in the middle of the sticks are taken care of, and it is nice to know people are still looking out for the little guy,

Thanks everyone there at West Coast for what you do.

All the guys we have worked with have been honest, respectful, and upfront with us. They have fixed the issues and problems created by a different company we hired when building our house. They have helped us with water filtration system reinstalling, replacing our well pump, clearing our pipe to the septic tank, and changing the angle of the same pipe so it wouldn't happen again. Always quick to get here and fix the problem. They always explain things in ways we can follow.

They do not give free quotes and try to swindle you. I called them out for a quote to clear a clogged drain in my kids bathroom and my kitchen/garbage disposal. They charged me a $40 trip charge which they tacked a surcharge for paying with credit card. Then they scheduled a time to come out and showed up early (3 hours) and acted shocked that I was busy and leaving for another appointment. When they came back they gave me a quote and the tech that came out boasted about his 18 years experience but believe his saw a female and saw $$. He told me I needed a new garbage disposal and told me he could not clear the kitchen sink properly without replacing the disposal. I asked if he could just clear the drains and not replace it he said in all his years he’s never seen it done. He gave me a quote for the work for over a grand! Instead of being honest with their customers they lie and tried to swindle them. I told them thanks but no thanks and paid the $45 and sent him on his way. Took a trip to the dollar store and got a snake to put down the drain and cleared the kids sink drain on my own. Watched a YouTube video and found out all I needed was an Allen wrench to the bottom of the disposal, a quarter turn later and my sink is clear and the disposal is working. West coast plumbing pumps and filtration LLC on Marvin rd are a bunch of crooks. If you want an honest quote DON’T GO THERE!!! If I could give less than one star I would!!

Bought a house with an existing well without instructions on how to maintain it. Our water was smelly and appliances were almost orange! Bill came out and thoroughly explained what was needed to "fix" our system and we are now on track. We have older equipment, but he recommended to keep it since it works fine. He also found a failed tank that needed to be replaced. He was great to work with, knowledgeable, and dependable.
