I called twice I never heard back MCE. I hired Tapps Electrical.

Their electricians are unsafe and don’t care about customer safety in a pandemic. Avoid at all costs

I don't often take time to leave negative reviews for businesses, but I had to make an exception for MCE. Their conduct was completely unacceptable. They are the worst electricians I have dealt with in recent memory.

Gave info to call for alarm system repair and possible upgrade. Said the person would contact me. Been 3 days so I called back and now they say they are not taking any new work. Great company not!!!! Will never contact again.

Best company to call when you need the job done right the first time. They've done commercial wiring for my business and more recently, a new service panel for my home. Trustworthy, and know what they're doing.

Meridian just installed a complex light fixture in our stairwell going between the 2nd & 3rd floor here on Bainbridge Island. The guys did an excellent job! Very professional, clean, courteous, etc..! I highly recommend MCE!

We purchased a 10 year-old home that had an alarm system and electrical installed by MC Electric. We bought it from the original owners, who neglected to leave behind an operator's manual or the master code for the alarm system.

One night, a few weeks after we'd moved in, the power went out and the alarm went off, waking everyone in our house (and probably everyone on the street). It took us a while to figure out how to turn the noise off, but our fix was temporary -- opening any doors the next morning caused the system to go off again. We called MC Electric shortly thereafter, and they helped us troubleshoot it over the phone in less than 5 minutes, and mailed us an owner's manual. Not only did they help us fix the issue, but they also helped us reset the master code. A huge thank you to Bill and the team there.

They installed electrical and internet wiring on new build spec house. We've had problems with lights going out, flickering, in kitchen primarily. It's too much to write but they have consistently insisted that bulbs are to blame and not anything else. They don't even recommend a solution, just change bulbs or say it's the dimmer. I'd rather be told there is nothing they can do or hey, for $1000 we can upgrade all this to dim, be on smart bulbs, or just not go out every 2 months in this canned lighting system but they don't even offer a solution there. Internet service will never be 100% bc somewhere along the installation wires are too close together or something causing interference. They have come out multiple times and I guess they're just tired of us and wish we wouldn't call anymore, so we won't. Now looking for new service to give us viable options to our problems. So disappointing because they came highly recommended.

Very responsive and friendly. I've hired them twice now to help with a few issues and will continue calling them! They changed out my federal pacific panel among other things. Fairly affordable if you can say that in these days. Good electrical folks are hard to find. Consider calling this company to help ya. Cheers and I hope this helps you.

I used MCE to update a recalled panel in my MIL’s house. I’m also working with them now to rewire my kitchen. I always get at least 3 bids and they’ve been the fastest to respond/schedule, and their bids have been the cheapest by far. Really communicative within their company, with me as the customer, and with the county. I haven’t hit any snags with them and they’re now my go to electrical company.

RESIDENTIAL / ELECTRICAL - Generator Connection:

I thought this experience was important to share here. I wanted to say "Thank You" to two trust worthy Electricians "Joe & Chris" for their outstanding job making the necessary connection required by the City Code for my generator this morning.

From the time I spoke to staff at the Office and accommodating my request was exceptional. and the completion of this project was outstanding.

Because of my experience and promptness with MCE - I've recommended this company to my family, friends and colleagues. I am definitely using them again for any and all my electrical needs.

MCE - thanks for taking the time to get the necessary permits so I don't have to deal with that headache too!

Matt and his team did a fantastic jump especially responding to the unexpected conditions that they encountered as they dismantled the existing electrical system in our home. They resolved the issues promptly and worked with me to make sure the job got done in the original time that was it was planned for. For future projects I will look to MCE as a primary contractor for the efficiency, expertise, and value.
