I've had MCE come out a few times and every time has been a great experience. They were on time, professional, and quick with accomplishing the job. I appreciated Kenny and Kurt in their hard work and climbing in an attic that was gross. We will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thanks you guys!

This company is extraordinary and goes above and beyond to take care of their clients. I had issues with my meter outside and was without heat for 30 hours. They arrived at 7am and had to coordinate with PSE to get it fixed. Michael, the manager was incredibly efficient and professional. The crew were tremendous, caring young men who did not leave until 10pm and they waited to hear my furnace kick on after power was restored. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will never use anyone else.

Our aged condominium had twenty-eight units that still had the old Zinsco electrical panels and per our insurance company it was upgrade them or get our insurance dropped. We interviewed four companies and MCE ended up being the one we went with. They were not the lowest bid, but their understanding of our scope and their not piling on unreasonable demands (which equated to us being charged an amount significantly above just the panel replacement cost quoted by a different company) got them the nod.

I can tell you during this process dealing with Will who bid the project and coordinated inspections / the MCE team, to Jim and Cole (the two electricians assigned to do the work) – this project went very, VERY smoothly. I had more trouble coordinating the 28 owners than anything MCE brought to the table.

Jim was the consummate professional with not only each resident, but with me (the project manager). I got daily statuses from him about the work they’d done, insights into dealing with the city inspector, and a wrap up on the inspections after they occurred. I really appreciated he went above and beyond with some of our owners issues with their electrical within their units – which made my life so much easier! I looked at a number of the panels done and it looked very clean and organized (which certainly helped all of them passing inspection).

We’ve made MCE our preferred electrical contractor should residents ask for a recommendation and we’d highly recommend giving them a shot a providing a bid or doing work for your residential or commercial property.

We lost power to more than half of our house the other day. We called around to so many places. It was a busy Friday afternoon around 430. My husband called so many different numbers no one was available. The guys at MCE answered and were all the way out to our house within 30 mins. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had our power back up and running. Also it didn’t cost us an arm and a leg like I thought it was going to. I am so grateful to them for coming out last min , otherwise we would have been sitting without power all weekend. Definitely recommend 10/10

I called several companies for a quote on installing a interlock switch to install a generator into my home. Jayce and Jacob came out and did a Great job, looks very clean. Very good price with permit included ! I highly recommend !

The work that was performed on my house was sloppy and dangerous.

I hired Meridian to replace my electrical panel, and run a few new circuits. The workmanship shown was embarrassing; excessive drywall damage, obviously crooked outlets, and incredibly lazy running of wires in my crawl space (images included - they wrapped a wire around my drain pipe).
Even worse than all this, a competent electrician found that 4 or 5 circuits in my panel didn't have the grounding wire secured at all; ZERO grounding was provided to several outlets and fixtures. If I didn't need to hire new electricians for unrelated work I would not have known that my electric system was left in a hazardous state for who knows how long.

Don't waste your time with these people. Every other electrician I have talked to is aware that they do shoddy work too. Apparently this is just how they operate.

Highly recommend these guys. Kenny & Curt came out and installed my generator interlock kit and a whole-home surge. Super happy with the install, and they left the place clean and clearly labeled.

Great experience. The tech fixed a bad breaker and didn't even charge. They stand behind their work.
Do yourself a favor and call them for any of your home electric issues.

Will is the service manager and Jim was the electrician who came out with his apprentice, Austin. I called about an electrical problem and they dispatched Jim the same day, working around my schedule. Jim is an amazing electrician—he diagnosed and fixed the issue in just 15 minutes!

I was impressed to see Jim teaching Austin along the way; Austin listened carefully and will surely become a fine electrician himself. Will and Jim are true assets to the company, and I’m confident Austin will be as well.

I highly recommend this company—they could give 101 lessons on what outstanding customer service should look like!

Reed Electric was fantastic with communication and explaining realistic options for our project. Clearly provided costs, updates and timelines. Workers on site were friendly and respectful while they navigated the chaos that is the walls of my 1920s built home. They finished quickly for an unexpected project and we can rest better knowing our house is now up to code.

While doing roof work we discovered old knob and tube wiring was still active not only in the attic space, but in the whole house! Reed took care of rewiring the whole house, deactivated the knob and tube. We have plaster walls in most of the house, so I know it was not an easy task but they got it done with minimal damage.

Thank you for making our home safer. I would recommend Reed Electric to anyone looking for a job to get done right.

Reed did work for me on 2 homes, they had to return for some pickup work at both locations but overall happy with work and cost.

We had a problem with a GFI outlet right as we were ready to go out of town. We didn't want to be concerned about a house fire. They came right out and fixed the problem in minutes. Thank you for expiditing your technician. He was kind and courteous. We would use Reed Electrical again and highly recommend!

As a Site Superintendent for a local builder, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to work with Reed Electric on numerous job sites for 5 years now. Their professionalism, courtesy, and customer service continue to exceed my expectations each time I get the chance to work with them.

I have used Reed electric a couple of times and been extremely happy each time. They first came out to rewire my knob and tube in my attic and then I called them out again for new outlets needed. I was extremely happy with professionalism as well as price. Not only will I use again, but I just recommended my mother to call them and use them as well.

Had to deal with this company a few times. Every time they would come out and “fix it”. Only for it to happen again 15 minutes later. And try to make me an idiot like I don’t know what I’m talking about

Reed Electric is an excellent contractor. Our custom home took almost three years to complete. Throughout this project we had challenges, especially with electrical issues. Our builder brought in three different electrical contractors, and when our builders considered their job complete we were left with twelve unresolved issues.
Reed Electric showed up, took copious notes, gave a detailed bid, and arrived on time and totally prepared.

As each issue was resolved we were informed of the situation, progress and completion. We were able to pivot and make choices and decisions with confidence. All of our issues were resolved and we now have full enjoyment of our completed home.

The bid came in as expected, and the invoice didn’t exceed the bid. It was an investment but worth every penny to finally have it done right.
