Landscaping reviews in Puyallup, Washington

I brought in two orchids to be repotted as in the past I have not been successful in doing it on my own. I emailed first to see how the process worked and received a response very quickly on how I could repot myself and best take care of my orchids as well as if I wanted to bring them in. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable. I will continue to go there for my gardening needs and recommend them to everyone!

Best quality of plants can be found here. The best moment here is the Halloween. Lots of squash😍

This is a destination if you love to shop at nurseries and get ideas on indoor and outdoor plants and decor. Everything changes by seasons so if you come in the fall you can shop the Tacoma glass pumpkin patch! Their staff are also very knowledgeable if you have questions. This stop we decided to eat at the cafe which was such a delight. Share the peach and goat cheese crostini and then had a half bagel sandwich and salad. So delicious 😋 Fair warning - it can get pretty hot in the cafe you are dining in a greenhouse after all!

Ok so this is a difficult rating to give. The place is just beautiful. We got our Christmas tree here. Their prices, however, are more astronomical than I could have even predicted. Easily 3-4 times normal markup at a specialty market. Because of this I have to give less stars because honestly I couldn't even find a Christmas ornament for less than 20-30$.

3.5 stars, but rounding up to 4.
If I had nothing to compare Watson’s to I would give them 5 stars. The selection is great. I love the house plant selection along with the home goods & garden items. Staff was friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I even saw staff helping an elderly customer load purchases into their car. They have a generous rewards program & great family friendly events.
BUT when compared to my go-to greenhouse Watson’s comes in a little short. Although their plants perfectly fine, healthier plants at better prices are available if you travel a bit out of the metro. I’ll post some pictures below for reference.
The first picture is of rosemary. Watson’s on the left, competitor on the right. The plant from the competitor has a healthier color, bushier growth, & a better taste (Watson’s is quite bitter). If you notice, the Watson’s plant is $2 more expensive & from the same initial source. Assuming the differences are due to type &/or lack of fertilizer.
Next picture is vinca. Watson’s on the left, competitor on the right. Same initial source & also $2 more expensive at Watson’s. Competitor’s plant is denser, lusher (more growth points), & longer trailing. Watson’s does have a couple blooms, but that probably comes down to the difference of the fertilizer used. I grow vinca for trailing foliage, so I couldn’t care less about the blooms.
Overall, Watson’s is a great option especially if you’re close. I will return to Watson’s occasionally for the large variety, home goods, & family events but I will get the majority of my plants elsewhere. -
This place is Amazingly, Glorious and so Gorgeous All sorts of different things from plants, to plant holders, and journals to keep during those times you're planting and so much more. Decorations, books on hiking, books about plants, seeds, bird baths, shade decorations, etc. . . . .

Kim and Angela were fantastic at helping us pick out plants for an Christmas arrangement for our mother. Kim was very patient on a busy pre-Christmas weekend day and Angela was pleasant and artistic in how she created this beautiful design.

Great place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Watson’s has a good selection of indoor and outdoor flowers and plants, a nice gift shop and a pretty decent café with locally sourced cakes and other goodies. Most importantly, their staff is very helpful and this is great for novice gardeners like us.

Absolutely unbelievably awesome!!! Every single plant in this place is healthy, hearty and beautiful! I could complain a little on the prices but, I won't! It's worth every single penny. It's incredibly clean and very well kept and they have rare and/or hard to find seeds. It was more than a pleasure to visit Watson's Green House and I very much look forward to my next visit which will be very soon!!

This is such a cute nursery! They always have things you can't find anywhere else. I feel like some of their stuff is overpriced, but we still love to look at ALL the things they have during the holiday season.
-
The cafe inside says they close at 4pm on the sign, but if they dont want you there they will lie and say there is an event at 2pm. There was nothing mentioned on their wesite or social media for any event on the day I visited. We were there well past 2pm and they sat people in the dinning area without any problems.

Plan to spend a few hours here so you can see (and buy) everything. They have a large selection of plants, gardening supplies, gifts and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful, too!

Great nursery! They have everything you could want and then some more!

Great place with so many fabulous items! Live reindeer!

I bought a beautiful banana tree and some cone flowers. We were also scouting a shade tree for the backyard. The staff was very knowledgeable and bent over backwards to answer questions and help with the decision making process. Thank you!

Absolutely love coming here. So much variety for indoor and outdoor plants. Plus they have a great selection on decor and gifts. The cutest nursery. I went this time as I had heard about their mushroom display. Super cute my daughter and I enjoyed it. As well as all the decorated trees. So many different themes. And the poinsettias were perfect. Amazing full baskets. And as always everyone there is so nice and welcoming. Love coming here, so close to home and I love shopping Puyallup.

I don’t write reviews often but I’m a plant newbie and a wonderful staff member named Delaney (not sure if the spelling is correct) answered a lot of questions for me and we bonded over plant talk. I’ve never gotten customer service like that at Lowe’s or Home Depot and this is now my go to spot to build my greenery on my mission to plantify my home! Great place and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. a bit pricey but worth it for the expert knowledge compared to big box stores. Delanie (sorry if I’m spelling wrong) also gave a treat to my fur baby, which is a big plus in my book.

This place is a hidden gem in Puyallup! Aside from their vast selection of greeneries, they have an amazing cafe inside the store which we absolutely enjoyed! Tiramisu and lobster roll is on the menu y’all and it was very well executed! I sometimes find an excuse to come to this place so I can get my hands on their lobster roll!
