We had a great experience with Green Spaces Landscaping! Ryan, Jose, and the crew were responsive, reliable, informative, and turned out an amazing product. Our backyard went from wasted space to our family's favorite place to hang out. We got exactly what we wanted and deferred to Ryan's expertise for anything we didn't have strong opinions on. They guarantee their work and stayed true to the proposed budget. We'd use them again, in a heartbeat!

My back yard is a respite like I only dreamed of. Green spaces Landscaping helped make my vision come true. From the architect to the people with hands in the earth and building the hardscape it was a journey that ended in such a sweet space. It had its ups and downs, but the end sanctuary is a beautiful one!

I have worked with Green Spaces for our outdoor renovation project which included a full-blown redesign of our entire outdoor space. I highly recommend Green Spaces and extremely happy with the end results.

The design work was very thoughtful and carefully incorporated our needs and considerations. Ryan was very knowledgeable, provided us various options alongside his recommendations and vision.

The implementation of the project has been extremely smooth. The project completed on projected timelines, the crew were really nice and non-intrusive. They worked hard and did not create any inconvenience for us. They were very respectful to our requests (if needed). Overall very nice group of people.

Ryan and Jose (project manager) were respectful\responsive and extremely capable throughout the entire process.

I highly recommend Green Spaces Landscaping. We shopped around for months in an effort to find the ideal landscaping company to help fulfill our landscaping goals: building a fairly ambitious outdoor living space in our backyard, with outdoor kitchen, lighting, a built-in fire pit, pavilion roof structure, and supporting landscaping throughout (trees, plants, etc.). So many of the landscaping companies that we met with, while no doubt capable of doing the job, seemed to lack the necessary "customer service gene" -- we never got the sense that our best interests, as the customer, were ever truly a priority. We always felt like the other landscaping companies were trying to price-gouge us and, overall, seemed unwilling to work with us to try and meet our landscaping goals within our budget. They were all very rigid and lacking flexibility, in general.

Ryan Sarvis and Green Spaces Landscaping, on the other hand, were quite the opposite. Right when we met Ryan, we immediately could tell that he was very customer-focused. Our needs were priority number one for Ryan -- he had solid "customer service" written all over him. You could tell that customer service was very important to him which, in turn, made us feel important and, likewise, immediately created an environment of trust (which is critical when you're spending tens of thousands of dollars on a project!). We felt at ease and comfortable with Ryan from day 1.

We had a set budget, which the other landscaping companies scoffed at when we presented it in the context of our project plan (a few of them even laughed...I'm not kidding). In contrast, Ryan gently and tactfully told us which of our desired additions to the backyard we could and could not include within the scope of our budget. More importantly, Ryan regularly suggested more affordable alternatives for certain items. This was a key piece of the project. Ryan worked closely with us to find alternatives/options that would keep us happy, while also keeping us under budget. He provided us with much needed guidance, and for this, we cannot thank him enough. We went over multiple project plans -- Ryan drawing up all of them -- in an effort to get us our dream outdoor living space. Ryan was incredibly helpful along the way, always keeping in close contact. He regularly emailed and texted us various ideas and example photos and, as always, never strayed away from his customer-oriented approach. He was very flexible and accommodating. In fact, along the way, due to some life circumstances, we had to make a fairly significant reduction to our budget for the project, and Ryan didn't even flinch: he quickly adjusted the project and design plan accordingly.

Overall, Green Spaces' willingness to work with us and make us feel taken care of was pretty incredibly. What's even more incredible? With Ryan's guidance, we were able to get something that was virtually identical to our original vision for our outdoor living space! There were a few cutbacks and tweaks here and there, of course, but none ended up significantly altering the overall look of the backyard. We got what we wanted. It looks absolutely amazing. Green Spaces exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be any happier!

As an important side note, I'd like to give a quick shout out to the amazing Green Spaces project crew who worked on-site over the months on our outdoor project. They were always very professional and respectful. Their work was meticulous, detailed and precise. The team also made sure that they cleaned up the project site at the end of every work day to make it look as nice as reasonably possible -- it never looked messy -- which my whole family really appreciated.

Again, I can't say enough positive things about Green Spaces Landscaping. I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs. In fact, we have a front yard project that we hope to complete sometime this year, and we'll certainly be using Green Spaces Landscaping.

Truly one of the best landscape architects and builders you can find. They took our swampy mess of a yard and transformed it into an amazing patio/firepit area along with a very creative landscape design. Pictures don’t even do it justice - incredible team with Ryan, Jose, and Heidi - we just need to come up with another project for them now….

Green Spaces Landscaping transformed our backyard into an inviting space that we are simply thrilled with. We found and purchased a design consult coupon from Green Spaces Landscaping on Angie's List to get some ideas about what might be possible in our backyard. Ryan Sarvis came out to our home and spent quite awhile sharing ideas and inspiring us. Ryan listened to our hopes and answered all our questions. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do before contacting Green Spaces; but Ryan brought our thoughts and ideas into focus and had many ideas we never even contemplated. Ryan is very knowledgeable about landscaping, hardscaping, decking, patios, lighting and more. Although we did have a few other quotes, we felt Ryan's expertise across a multitude of disciplines would be beneficial in ensuring everything would come together as planned.
We had a couple of revisions of our contract/bid and the work to be performed and Ryan was flexible with us to maintain our targeted budget while still achieving our main and most important goals/priorities.
There was a bit of delay due to the poor air quality this late summer but once the project kicked off we were so impressed by the Green Spaces Landscaping crew. We were blessed to have Matteo and Hayner as our two primary craftsmen. Hayner and Matteo were wonderful to have working around our home. For six weeks they came every weekday like clockwork showing up early in the morning and working tirelessly throughout the day in the wind, rain and even some brief snow. They are very conscientious and they take great pride in their work. We had a lot of fun talking with them about the work being done and they were very helpful when we asked questions about what was being done or fine-tuning some of the decisions. When I'd ask if something could be adjusted a bit; Hayner would say 'you're the boss'! We miss the guys and hope we get to work with them again in the future.
One tidbit of advice is to communicate often with your designer. We worked directly with Ryan and a few times some ideas would get mixed up or forgotten so it is important to get as much detail as you feel you need to ensure you and the Green Spaces team are on the same page and have the same expectations. That said, Ryan was always able to accommodate our needs and we truly felt that his company's ultimate goal is to make his customers dreams a reality and do so at a fair value and with quality workmanship.
In summary, we are very pleased with the outcome of our backyard makeover and are so thankful that Ryan and team were able to take on our project. We hope someday to have Green Spaces back to our home and re-work our front yard!

Green Spaces did a spectacular job on our walkway and stairs. Previously we had flagstone that was installed improperly without the proper base. Ryan explained the issues with how it was installed and how the correct process for installation. He helped us select material for a new paver walkway and even met with us at a rock quarry to select boulders with us. The crew worked really hard and were approachable whenever we wanted minor changes made. Ryan had no problem when I asked him to redo one minor part of the walkway because I didn't like it. He wanted us to be happy with the final product. The work is also guaranteed. Green Spaces does the job correctly and is satisfied when you are.

Beware of the design charges & lack of professionalism!

I started a discussion with Bruce Sarvis regarding our back & front yard landscaping in November, hoping that our new yard would be planted by December / January to take advantage of Spring growth spurt. In my initial discussions, I enquired of the availability of the crew and was assured of the same in December or January. Knowing that, we went ahead with setting up meetings. I was told to book time on his calendar, which was all booked up, so I reached out to him to see if he had time, to which he said he only had time in January- 01/20. I again enquired if that would delay our installation to which he assured me it would not...my mistake of not seeing the red flag. I was given appointment for 01/20/25, when I checked to reconfirm the appointment, I was told it was a mistake and they don't work on that day, and so it was rescheduled. Finally, we met on 01/26, with a design board and us giving feedback on it. Obviously, by this time we were past having installation in January, but I was assured again it would be definitely done in February. Our next meeting with design and cost estimates was scheduled for 02/10. I had told him we would be traveling for the week starting 02/12, and so it was a hard deadline. On 02/10, I got a message that he was unwell and he needs to reschedule. That's where I chose to give up on them and scrambled to find another landscaper to handle my project.

One would imagine that would be the end of unprofessional behavior, but then there office starts hounding me for design fee for a project which was handled in the most unprofessional manner.
Please beware of such people and organizations, who keep customers secondary in their business. And DO NOT make the mistake that I did... I paid for it, and I'm warning you, so you don't have to!

We had a large landscaping project for our yard, including some regrading and adding a patio. The design was thorough and we were happy with the work by the crew. They were very flexible, providing lots of options, and they had lots of good suggestions for our space. They weren't pushy about any of the services, and we were able to keep to our budget.

We had an excellent experience working with Green Spaces on our front yard project. They designed and built our new walls and walkways with planters, and the results exceeded our expectations.

Ryan, the designer, was fantastic to work with, he was thoughtful, creative, and responsive throughout the process. The crew was equally impressive: friendly, professional, and clearly proud of their work. Their attention to detail really shows in the finished product.

We have used Bear Creek Landscaping for a few years and have been very pleased with their services. Their customer service is always available to answer questions or concerns. They always keep us updated on any changes or scheduling. We have a weekly yard service and the crew is always on time and they do an excellent job!

I am so happy my fountain in my front yard is finally working again! Dan and his team took time out of their busy schedule early this morning to fix it after it had been broken for two years. We are selling our house and were hoping to have our fountain working when the house goes on the market. We thought there was little hope as it was so old, and the pump did not work. But soon after Dan's crew replaced the pump, the water gushed out of the top and BAM! It worked! So grateful to Dan, and his team for their excellent service!

I hired Bear Creak Landscaping to redo my small front yard. Despite it being a small job for them, they were very professional, listened to our needs, and did an amazing job on time. They estimated it would take one day to complete, and it did. I'm very happy with the results, and my son has taken to skipping through the stone path laid through our front yard with glee. If I ever need another yard redone, I would definitely hire them again.

Jeff and his team did a massive yard clean up for us. Our yard was way overgrown and beyond what I could tackle on my own. In two days they cleaned everything up and added gravel pathways and mulch. The yard looks amazing!!!! I am so pleased! They cleaned up everything very carefully, including coiling up any hoses that we had laying around. Definitely recommend.

We have been working with Bear Creek Landscaping for many years. They do weekly maintenance of our yard, handle all pruning and the sprinkler system. Their design teams also executed a beautiful and complex backyard landscape plan. I couldn't be happier. We look forward to the next phase of completion with redo of our front yard. Randy, has been wonderful to work with, he’s been very communicative during each step. It puts me at ease with some so professional handle the project.

We had some stonework done recently in the backyard. Afterwards the area seemed so bare so I called and worked with Jeff Mitchell/Project Manager at Bear Creek to help spruce up the bedding. He was very knowledgeable about plants and irrigation (we have an existing sprinkler system), he reinforced some of my thoughts and ideas on what to do, and shared suggestions he had based upon his expertise. The working crew was great. They worked rain or shine and left the area very neat when done for the day. The project overall couldn't have worked out more beautifully!! Because of that we decided to update other parts of the yard with a stone pathway, cleaning up existing shrubbery, and reseeding the entire lawn, We are really looking forward to the warmer weather to get out an enjoy our new space even more!!! Also, thinking of what the next project will be to continue embellishment on the enhancements we've already begun!!

We had numerous items accomplished for our large yard "spring cleaning". I particularly want to thank Don who had over site of our project and offered numerous helpful ideas. Secondly the crews that accomplished the project which included terrace walls and patios were extremely hard workers all led by Julio.

I don't know if I have seen a harder worker that wanted everything to be perfect than Julio. Because of him, we will be using Bear Creek going forward!

Shane with Bear Creek put in a huge network of sprinklers for us. He customized fences quite precisely to our specifications, including creating a dog “airlock” system. He added driveway and tree lighting that looks spectacular. When problems arose, he was polite and responsive and even added little extra touches to make everything special. It all looks better than I imagined!

We contracted Bear Creek for a significant amount of work. Things turned out great. In large part thanks to Jeff M. we have a yard we are very happy about. Jeff paid an attention to detail that we really appreciated. He listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond. We also decided to go with BC for maintenance to keep things looking good.
