Constraction reviews in Renton, Washington

Hired Pedro and his crew for our primary bathroom renovation. He's very easy to work with and goes out of his way to show you that he cares about quality and making sure your satisfied. His whole crew were extremely hard workers. Would definitely recommend.

We had an old carport in our house that was falling apart. Pedro and his team walked us through the whole process: from demo, to the challenges of the permit process, and rebuilt the carport exactly how we wanted it. He understood exactly what we asked, gathered feedback along the way and the finished product is perfect. He definitely went above and beyond my expectations. Timely and more importantly *honest* communication, very reasonable pricing, and outstanding quality work. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Pedro was absolutely wonderful to work with. His quality of work and time management of my guest bathroom project was top notch. He has an eye for detail and will go above and beyond to get your project to look the way you want.

I have worked with other general contractors in the past, but their communication always starts to suffer once the project gets going and the deposit is given. Pedro is fully communicative the whole project through! He is very professional and genuine; I have already recommended him to some friends and will definitely call him for future projects.

Pedro did an amazing job installing epoxy flooring in our garage - on time, friendly, and beautiful end result - thank you!

Pedro and his team did a beautiful job on my complete master bath renovation. Thankful for his experience because he was able to help me choose the right materials needed to build my dream bathroom. I’ll be using Pedro and his team again and I highly recommend Ps Seattle General Construction LLC.

Pedro and his team were fantastic! We were very pleased with the commitment to our project which was surprisingly completed in just four weeks (except for one window replacement which had to be special ordered). The results were beyond my expectation. Pedro and team refurbished our basement… turning it from an eyesore to a lovely extension of our home… family/TV area, laundry room, office and bathroom(complete redo). The guys showed up each day and sometimes worked Saturdays to keep things on schedule. The singing was an extra bonus!
Pedro provided great suggestions and looked for ways to minimize cost. He completely re-installed all of the windows and trimmed them beautifully so they now match the rest of the house. All the floors were done (including leveling the cement floor prior to installing flooring), new baseboards, new lighting throughout, re-texturizing, tiled bathroom and shower, some plumbing and re-walled the laundry room, painted entire basement. Everything looks great! We are so happy with our new space and would use Pedro again in a heartbeat.

My experience with PS Construction warranted this assessment. From start to finish, it was a remarkable experience. The team was highly professional and knowledgeable, working tirelessly to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget. I was extremely impressed by their attention to detail and their commitment to excellence.

Pedro and his team exceeded expectations by completing the project in three weeks. Previous bids proposed a 5-8 weeks schedule. Their commitment to hard work is impressive, working tirelessly for 8-9 hours daily. What can be accomplished when a team puts in that kind of effort is impressive.

Pedro is truly impressive! It's wonderful to know that he not only possesses exceptional skills but also has an excellent bedside manner. Having someone who is knowledgeable and capable is always reassuring. In short, Pedro is an outstanding individual, and his leadership shows with his employees.

At one point, I purchased a fixture for the shower that cost me $1200, which would have caused me issues down the road, but thanks to Pedro's suggestion, I was able to make a change that saved me lots of money.

I highly recommend PS Construction to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality construction company.

We have worked with Pedro on a variety of projects over the past 1.5 years, including bathroom renovations, a kitchen update, deck replacement, as well as other smaller jobs around the house. Pedro always did an excellent job. He was always super easy to communicate with and would identify problems that we wouldn't have noticed, and then come up with a good solutions. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are top-notch--you can tell he really cares about the work he is doing and the finished product. I can be quite picky about design details, and Pedro always went out of his way to make things look the way I wanted. Thank you Pedro and hopefully we will work together again!

Disrespectful and irresponsible. We had an appointment with Andrey for an on-site estimate today (2021-06-15) at 12:30pm, but he never showed up. I sent an email to reminder him about the appointment last night, and I even sent a text message in the morning to confirm with him. He replied at 12:00pm saying "Yes on my way". So we drove from our apartment to our new house, and kept waiting for him there till 1pm. I texted him again. Then he called me back and said that he did not know we had an appointment today!!! How could that be possible? I reminded him twice, through both email and text. It is totally a waste of time. I missed our team meeting and asked for 2 hours leave from my boss.
This is really a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ANK to anyone.

Update: Andrey contacted me and apologized for his mistake on that day. I can feel he is sincere.

I've used ANK Construction since 2003 for our new home construction business. Their people work hard to get the job done right and always come when we call. We are very happy with them.

I have been a licensed broker in Renton for over 25 years and have seen every type of contractor you can imagine. Everytime I have hired ANK, the work gets completed within a time frame expected. Selling hundreds of homes you learn there are always challenges or things that come up unexpected. When things come up with ANK, it is resolved to complete satisfaction!

Great group of guys for all your Building/ Remodeling and painting needs!! Very Honest and truthful company.

Andrey is the owner, Steve and Vlad are painting supervisors, and Victor is the remodeling supervisor. They will get the job done correctly and listen to your needs!

We are so thrilled with how are project turned out and so pleased with the ANK team. Work started on time and was completed in schedule with no large/unexpected price increases. Crew was great at overcoming and providing solutions to the few obstacles we encountered. The crew was great to work with; punctual, fastidious, respectful and did quality work that we are proud to show off. Looking forward to working with them when we start our next project.

We have been working with ANK Construction for over two years and I'm so impressed by the HIGH quality professionalism they bring to EVERY project. Thanks ANK for allowing Simply Efficient to be a part of your team! A+ TEAM!!

I have worked with this company many years and they do fantastic job. I have 45 properties in Washington and they have done a Great job making sure that they’re on time that the place they were working out is clean when they leave. They have giving me really good estimates and lower price than my competitors.
Loved working with them hope we can continue working together for many years.

I am very happy I hired ANK Construction for my bathroom remodel. I ended up with a beautiful bathroom because they have skilled, attentive and caring workers who want to do a good job. I am looking forward to my next project with ANK Construction.

From start to finish, the process was smooth and the costs were clearly noted. Pricing was great and the project turned out beautiful. Thank you again! Highly recommend this trustworthy team and will be using Ank again in the future!

Andrey and his team did a great job remodeling our two bathrooms. They were very responsive to our needs. They are highly capable of handling complex and detail oriented work like building tile doors, electrical and glass installs etc. It's been a pleasure working with them and I would highly recommend them for any interior or exterior remodeling projects.

I debated for a long time whether I would leave a review - this is their livelihood after all. At the time (about a year ago) I had no other remodeling contractor experience to compare to so I was honestly unsure whether my own expectations were too high. After I halted work with ANK and had a different contractor come in to finish the remodel, the experience was night and day for me.

To be clear, things started off great, but overall communication was a struggle in all aspects... from not understanding what I wanted (despite pictures, layouts, sketches) to simply asking for a general schedule so that we could plan around them (working from home, we have large dogs). People would just show up randomly any day or time of the week and weekend... sometimes staying as late as 8pm. We just tried to stay open minded and flexible, letting them get the work done.

After a couple months and some major disagreements, it was clear this working relationship was not good for either of us. My gut was telling me that this situation was not right. When you reach that level of distrust, there's no point in continuing. I couldn't wait for it to be over... I'm sure that part was mutual.

So why after nearly a year? Because even after this long, we're still finding and paying to fix issues they caused. I have since discussed these with Andrey and we came to an agreement on some of the larger issues.

I sincerely hope my situation was a one time occurrence. I chose this contractor purely off our initial conversations and all their shining 5 star reviews... everything seemed great. I feel it's only fair that I finally share my cautionary tale.

This is a team of very skilled, very kind Craftsman mostly from the Ukraine who we had the pleasure of working with on several projects. My wife and I ask them to remodel two of our bathrooms which involved taking out a cast iron tub, taking up some hardwood flooring that had been damaged, tiling in a new walk-in shower with glass doors, replacing countertops on built-in cabinets, some new electrical work, the plumbing involved, etc. It all looks professionally done, they had good suggestions where that was needed. This is mostly for people who are okay picking out all of the materials, purchasing them, and coming up with some fairly detailed plans, but the team executes flawlessly. They are hard-working, polite, and communicate well when necessary.

We used ANK construction for repairing the siding on our house. They were efficient and got the job done within the estimated cost and time provided. We were very happy with results and the quality of the work that was performed. If there was one are they could improve on, it would be communication. It took some follow ups/reminders to get responses though we believe it was because they were very busy with many clients/jobs.
