Electrical reviews in Ridgefield, Washington

Mt Vista Electric did a fantastic job. They were on time, professional, and efficient. Everything looks clean, works perfectly, and was done to code. Highly recommend!

Elliot at Mount Vista Electric was very professional. Everything about the job was defined and executed as promised. I have used several Contractors in the course of my remodel, and Mount Vista Electric is the best I’ve run into! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had the pleasure and good sense to hire Mt Vista Electric to replace an electrical panel that I had been told by several electricians was a fire hazard. I also wanted 4 Cadet heaters replaced. Elliot and Cody (his side kick) were a joy to work with. They patiently explained what they were going to do and how long it would take and how much it would cost. Elliot was a great communicator. When he said that he and Cody would be at my house at a certain time, that is when they were here. When I called Elliot and left him a message he called me back shortly. So refreshing! Elliot and Cody were very responsible and tidy about their work. They even helped me with something that they didn't have to but they did it anyway. Some of the other electricians I had talked to told me they would not help me. Elliot did not even hesitate. He and Cody took care of it post haste. It is my opinion that you can't do better than Mt Vista Electric for your project.

Cody and Elliot are not just professionals, but experts at not only their respective trade but their outstanding customer service. If you are looking for the right guys, look no further than Mt. Vista Electric!

Mt Vista installed a dimmer switch and completed a complicated ceiling fan replacement for us. Cody called in Elliott when he realized the job was going to take longer than anticipated and he needed some parts that weren't included in the installation kit. The two of them stuck with it and got the job done. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Cody made some suggestions regarding necessary upgrades to the panel box, but put no pressure on us to have the work done. We'll definitely call Mt Vista for any future electrical needs.

Mt Vista Electric installed two exterior outlets and connected a new sauna at our home. They were responsive to our messages, on-time, were able to schedule us in fairly quickly, and had a competitive bid. Both their team and the work product was professional. We would hire them again.

Mt Vista has been amazing to work with. I bought an original home and needed to upgrade the entire electrical system as well as disconnect the radiant heating system. Not only did they do that for me 9 months ago but I recently did some upgrades to the exterior and needed two additional exterior outlets. They’re easy to work with, and I would highly recommend their work! Thank you Elliott and Cody!

Elliot and Cody were excellent to work with. Mt Vista was very knowledgeable on current electrical codes and requirements. Their communication and execution was wonderful. I'm already considering using them for future electrical upgrades at my home. 100% would recommend to friends and family.

They did a great job, had the right parts on the truck, and were appropriately concerned about safety. What more can you say?

MT Vista Electric truly went above and beyond during an emergency situation. They arrived quickly, fully prepared with all the supplies needed to get the job done right on the spot. The team was not only fast and efficient, but also incredibly friendly and professional—genuinely great people to work with. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical expertise with such a positive, can-do attitude. I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommend MT Vista Electric for any electrical needs—especially when time is of the essence!

Cody and Elliot were just a delight to work with. Professional, Understood what my needs were, Friendly, Kept me up to date on their progress along the way. And, cleaned up their workspace after the job was completed! If you need someone that is reliable and really easy to work with give Cody and Elliot a call.

Big shout out to Elliot Terehkhin and Mt. Vista Electric for doing an outstanding job this summer, within budget & well before a deadline, on a complete rewiring of my 1790 sq. ft. home & garage in Longview, WA.

I was under the gun, as my home was pending sale & the Inspection Report revealed a massive challenge. The majority of the electrical outlets & switches weren’t grounded. No question the 77 y/o knob & tube (& BZ & old cloth & Romex) wiring needed to be updated to NEC code. (I was terrified that I would lose the sale of my property, since the new buyers, moving in from out of town, had a short deadline to move into their new home.

Further, the electrical panel was maxed out, so the breaker box needed upgrading, for any future expansion. Also, my water heater needed the electrical connection completely redone.

In walks Mr. Terehkhin & Mt. Vista. Elliot’s initial inspection report I knew to be honest, since I’d had a different electrician’s report. But the bid was astronomical & nothing I could have afforded without going bust.
I kept in close touch with Elliot between the end of June 2024 & most of July on this project. He kept me informed in real time, noting his progress. He was energetic, patient, cordial, brilliant in his depth of knowledge & understanding. And the L&I Inspector approved his work every step through final approval. Not only that, but Mr. Terehkhin uncovered a hidden junction box upstairs & an uncoded installation of a cadet heater downstairs from a contractor who had done shoddy work. Elliot is very much on the ball.

Mind you, during much of this, Elliot had to deal with a real estate agent & the new buyers, who were anxious to complete the sale & get moved in. He was very diplomatic, never lost his cool & got the job done on time. The of sale my old family home – going back to 1947 – went through without any further snags.

Imagine my gratitude, since this property was basically my retirement nest egg. My career is ending & I’m ready to settle down in my mid-sixties. Elliot & Mt. Vista have really given me peace of mind. He is a great electrician, entrepreneur & a great man. His experience in the field of residential, commercial & industrial truly shines through. I recommend Elliot Terehkhin & Mt. Vista Electric wholeheartedly & without reservation. – Greg Roth

Elliot and Coty were great. We had received another bid but wasnt as confident in the guy as Eliot and Coty.

Elliot with Mt. Vista Electric did a fantastic job. Very timely, professional and helpful with installing our Charge Point Charger for our new EV. He even had to deal with our generator. He did a great job. Mt. Vista has done other work for us in the past and has always done a super job with a reasonable price.

We had a space heater blow out the lighting in three of our bedrooms. After trying to figure it out ourselves none of the breakers looked tripped and we knew we needed a professional. Elliott and Cody showed up on time, Inspected the breaker panel, and looked at all of our outlets to find one had caught fire and could have been way worse than no lights.

They swapped out the burnt outlet and gave us a fair quote to update our breakers.

10/10. Saving their number for future work.

I'm a repeat customer and this is my go-to electrical company. The team at MT Vista is responsive, listens to my issues and offered multiple good solutions. The work was done quickly and at market price.

These guys were amazing, came on Saturday to get my barn back up with power. So glad I went with Mt. Vista Electric. Highly recommend them 👏👏👏👏 Elliott was so professional and friendly

Elliot and Cody did an excellent job in guiding us and installing outdoor outlets to power our hot tub, cold plunge and sauna. Cody even assisted with some heavy lifting to get to the job done! The extra mile working in tight spaces and extreme heat is what makes Mt Vista stand out. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done.

Cody and Elliot were wonderful to work with! We purchased our first electric vehicle and Mt. Vista Electric was recommended to us. They answered right away, talked options with us and then came out the next day to look over the space and provide us with the best placement for our charger. We had it installed within a week!

Cody and Elliott were thorough, polite and professional. We were completely new to EV's, but they explained everything and I feel we got a competently installed charger.

Elliot and Cody were excellent! Highly recommend this company/business, extremely proficient and great at problem solving! They managed to wire in an outlet AND install my new oven at a moments notice (same day) for a price that cannot be beaten! I will be coming back to them for all my further electrical needs! 10/10! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!
