Our (now fired) contractor left us with some serious damages and we needed help ASAP. We contacted Prarie Electric and Dean came to help us within 24 hours. Before he even came, he helped me problem solve some things over the phone then came over the next day to perform the necessary services. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient. Would highly recommend this business and Dean to anyone who is looking for quality work!

Just moved to town, bought forever home, and hired Prairie Electric to do a few projects for us.

Prairie Electric is very responsive and I feel, is invested in making sure the customer is happy with their work. As a woman, it was great that they did not talk down to me, and actually took time to educate me.

We had the guys at Prairie Electric come out to put up a security light in the back of our house and look at some other electrical problems we were having. The electrician was friendly, very helpful and got the job done quickly. He also troubleshooted another issue we were having where our lights kept blowing a fuse every time we turned our bathroom and bedroom light on at the same time. We were very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone!

For such a large project - The team at Prairie Electric took every possible chance to help us understand the entire process from end to end with our electrical panel change. The team that came and did the work handled every step of the process with great care and professionalism. Highly recommended - and we will continue to refer them to friends as needed!

Had an issue and made an appointment, but Dan was cool and honest enough to advise me to call PUD first. Glad he did, as the issue was at the street and my problem was fixed for free. Honesty and integrity go a long way with me and it's not always easy to find. The next time I do need the services of an electrician, I will for sure call Prairie!

Superb, efficient work done by Dennis. Our deck outlets are now working, the hot tub wiring is secure, and our breaker panel is corrected. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We hired Prairie Electric to retrofit a plug in our upstairs bathroom and a Tesla charging station in our garage. The installation required the installation of a sub panel. The electrician, Dean, did an outstanding job, there was a minor amount of sheetrock repair (which he reinstalled) and he left us zero mess. I also really appreciated Dan's (estimator) response time in getting us a quote within 2 days of our request. He confirmed the appointment and they installed the items on time and for the price he quoted. I would highly recommend Prairie Electric for any electrical work that you may need.

Excellent work done by Jon with Prairie Electric! I needed to have a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in my garage for charging an electric vehicle and was very impressed with the end result. Even with a full panel, Jon was able to make it work and get the outlet cleanly installed about 4-5 ft from the panel. Quality work at a very fair price from a dependable professional. I needed a small low-voltage job done quickly. I called around and most places were booked out several weeks. Prairie was able to get out within about 2 hours of my call. The men who came were professional and courteous, and got the job done in about 90 min, for a reasonable price.

I had the good fortune of having Mack and Max just visit my property and restore the power in two of my rooms, replace a damaged light switch in another room, and get two of my fans running again while replacing the bulbs. Their professionalism and top-notch customer service blew me away upon our first meeting and I told them so. We had a conversation about everything they did and they told me what they would do before they did it and more important to me, why these things happened in the first place. Jon did an amazing job replacing an entire breaker box and installing a car charger outside the house. He is very easy to talk to and provided help during the entire process (which included questions over the phone, e-mails and the quote itself, which was sent to us a few minutes after the leaving the house). The service was made timely and in a very efficient way! I highly recommend Prairie Electric! :)

We have depended on Prairie Electric a few times and not once have we been disappointed in their service. Ryan came out today to install some light fixtures and we were, again, so pleased with our decision to call Prairie Electric. Besides installing some new light fixtures for us we asked if he could check an issue with our electric range. Many businesses would have only taken care of the initial call for service....not one complaint when we asked if he could check the elecric range as well. Not only did he inspect the issue we were having, he corrected it for us right then. Friendly personnel, great service and prices.

Called them and got an appointment set for the next day. Dylan and Dennis were very friendly and professional. Granted is was probably an easier job for them, it was fun to see their communication and troubleshooting.

Within an hour my lighting fixture issue was resolved. *** Not complaining, just letting future customers know *** Even though my job only took an hour, I was charged for two. I commented on this and they mentioned that if there were only one of them, it would have taken more than an hour, so I essentially paid for two hours, but they job got done in one. Makes sense and I'm happy to pay it.

Prompt service and very professional. My only concern was that they were a bit busy and couldn't get to installing my backup generator for a couple of months, but it was well worth the wait and to be expected, as I approached them shortly after the pandemic subsided and seemingly all contactors were busy. Ben showed up and worked so fast and efficiently it was hard to follow him, although I sat in a chair not ten feet away watching for quite a while. They have their skills dialed in and seem to do complex wiring as easy as if they were breathing. A faulty part became apparent during the install, and they replaced it in about thirty minutes. They came up with a novel solution to keep our well pump house, which is distant from the house, working while providing a high-quality generator to keep the home running. The result is we have peace of mind up in the cascade foothills where the power is periodically out during the heavy winter months. Ryan, who coordinated the job with me was very helpful and made the whole process run smoothly and was always easy to reach with questions and accommodating my particular needs. They are a professional engineering company top to bottom. They are probably more geared to high end construction work, but they treated me as if I was just as important as their larger contracts.
This type of major upgrade to provide a whole house on septic and a well with continuity of service is not cheap, but sometimes, you get what you pay for. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a job well done and the peace of mind that it will last for years. Of course, it passed inspection, which is not always the case, and critical if you think ahead about the potential problems selling a home someday. They chose a beautiful, quality brand generator hospitals use, that will last us for many years. Someday I may need a medical machine of some sort in order to stay in my home and I have no doubt I'll have the confidence of continuity of service given the quality workmanship Prairie Electric provided. I highly recommend them.
