Had a Ubiquiti system installed in my new home. Wonderful installer- Cody.. great job done and now I am getting extremely fast speeds throughout my 3000 sq ft 2 story home.

Mt. Vista did a wonderful job installing two ceiling lights. The two gentlemen were so professional and efficient. The quality of their work was stellar! When the job was over, they even swept my floor to remove any remaining debris. I was impressed and will definitely go back for any future electrical jobs.

Elliot and the team at Mt Vista Electric were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive, thoroughly addresses all of my concerns AND very competitive pricing. I would recommend MVE for all of your electric needs. They are the best around, hands down.

I was very impressed with Elliot and Cody with Mt. Vista Electric. They were punctual, professional and personable. They got the job done efficiently and took care of an extra detail that was appreciated. They replaced an entryway light in a 17 ft vaulted ceiling that was needing to be updated. I would highly recommend this company. (before and after photos included)

Elliot with Mt. Vista was quick to respond and able to complete the job quickly! We needed an outlet for a flat screen put in. He was ever so kind to pick up office keys and drop them back off when work was completed. This is my second time working with him and I continue to be impressed. I will definitely be referring all my clients to them!

MT Vista came out and changed my panel as well as updated my old outlets. Great service and everything looks so much cleaner now. Great customer service at a fair price for excellent work. Highly recommend.

Mount Vista Electric did an excellent job replacing our electrical panel. Cody and Elliot were professional, punctual, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. They made sure everything was updated and brought fully up to code, and took the time to explain what was being done. The panel change went smoothly, and the workmanship was clean and high quality.
I really appreciate their attention to detail and would highly recommend Mount Vista Electric for any electrical work. -
Elliott has done work for me for the past few years, on my previous and new home. He is a fantastic guy and great worker. He’s great with communicating and explaining everything you need to know.
Both himself and Cody have made every job I’ve hired them for be completed promptly and professionally ensuring all the work is up to safety standards. I don’t usually write reviews, but these guys are on my highly recommend list. -

Angry freeway drivers! I know it’s a Friday but dang.

I have contacted this company twice in the last 3-4 weeks to get an estimate for several electrical projects around our house. I was left a message TWICE that said an estimator would be calling me. As you might have guessed, I received ZERO calls back. Totally unprofessional. Maybe they prefer remodels and other big jobs, and my smaller house projects are too small a job for them to be interested in.

Max and Trey were awesome! Very professional and quickly fixed the electrical outlet that had no power. They pointed out that a previous electrician had not installed the equipment correctly and I’m so glad they were able to fix the problem. Very timely and quick response!

These pros are the best of the best. We had several projects for them (install ceiling lights, replace vaulted-ceiling chandelier, and install under-cabinet lights) and the results were outstanding! I will be calling them again once I settle into my new home.

Prairie Electric originally wired my house. Shortly after moving in, a circuit breaker would trip in our kitchen. They came out twice to repair it. This was 4 years ago when we first built the house Since then we have had to reset the breaker on a regular basis, until recently, when the breaker wouldn't reset. Now they have come out the the third time. Since they cant find or fix the problem, they have decided to charge for the service. Not sure why they cant fix the problem the first time, but i guess when you cant fix it, start charging for it...

Originally I called to schedule an appointment with an electrician, but the employee on the phone was kind enough to ask me to try a simple thing, which ended up fixing my problem. He was very polite and had obviously had run into plenty of calls like mine in the past. I appreciate the friendliness I experienced here and will remember them if I need any (real) work in the future.

I had a problem with my electricity at my house. I called Prairie and it was less than a half and hour when Michael arrived. Super nice, (I like to work with nice people), and immediately found the issue. I will always think of them if I ever need an electrician. Thank you, Michael.

When I called for an estimate, on two separate occasions I was told that the job of dropping a 220V line from one room to the room next door would cost around $200. The first hour costs $130 and then there is an $80 fee for the second hour.
When the nice guy came he opted out of crawling into the attic and just convinced me it was best to put junction box and a flex pipe to the new location 2 feet into the next room over. I was told the estimate for my original request would cost much, much more!? I agreed to the cost of $230 with the electrician telling me it might not take the full amount of time.
When he finished less than 45 minutes later, I expected to not pay the price of two hours. No sir. When I brought it to his attention when it was time to pay, I said, but it took less than an hour? He agreed and said the rest of the cost was parts. He used : 2 metal boxes, 2 ft of 220v wire and metal flex pipe, and a socket that cost me $100?! Oh yes, he also used a handful of wingnuts. Add the tax on top of that and he got paid $250 and was here less than an hour!!!
In a nutshell, he knew I had budgeted around $230, so.....He overcharged me and blamed it on a few parts?!
Think you are going to pay the proper rate? Well, don't forget about the inflated prices of parts that cost them pennies.
I expected honesty and work done as estimated. Instead, I get overcharged for a crooked metal box sticking out of the wall. :( Find a company that doesn't bait you with a low estimate!!!
I would have given 1 star, but the electrician was pleasant and did the job quickly. It's just sad he overcharged me. -
After 2 companies didn’t even show up, Prairie (John) came out and gave us a quote and was very polite and professional. Then Dan and Bo came out for the work and did an EXCELLENT job. Would definitely have them back if we needed more work.
