I was referred to Sound Tree from my next door neighbor. I had them trim back a tree in my back yard and completely remove a tree next to my driveway. All went well. Great folks, great price, great job!

Great work. Very professional. The tree branch is almost top of my house and in critical area, the workers completed the job without any damage on my property and cleaned up everything.

They arrived promptly for both the estimate and the work, and executed the work quickly and professionally. Our trees were growing into the power lines and they took care of it no problem. AJ and his crew at Sound Tree Care did an amazing job! My neighbor and I had a giant apple tree we needed to trim back and down pretty significantly. AJ talked to us about what exactly we wanted and ensured we were comfortable with it once he was done. Amazing job and would highly recommend them for anybody who needs tree work done!

Sound Tree Care went above and beyond to help us with our trees following a big wind storm. We were under contract to sell and didn’t have much time. Everyone was booking at least a month out, including them. But they made it work somehow and got everything done in one week! Great team effort!

We had Sound Tree Care come to our house to remove ivy that was overgrown and had invaded our yard. It had gotten to the point where it had pulled our fence down, and blocked our main path to the back yard. We also had them trim and shape two large bushes (which had grown into small trees). The crew was excellent. Before they started, they made sure they understood exactly what we wanted. During the process, they checked with me to make sure they were on track with my expectations. Once, when I asked them to "take a little more off" the overgrown trees, they did it happily. We were very impressed with their work. They chipped the remaining wood, cleared the whole area of debris, etc., and hauled everything they removed, leaving things looking better than ever - in my mind, going above and beyond.

Their work was impressive, but the icing on the cake was how personable and friendly they were. It's special these days to hire work crews who are so pleasant. When I'd go out to check, they'd give me a smile; eager to please, polite and friendly.

Very difficult review to write because some parts of our experience were great, but overall, the end result led to our overall ranking.

The workers were punctual (even early!), pleasant and fast! They finished the contractual work in an hour when I was told two. Super helpful and appreciated!

However, my Douglas Fir was not treated the way I requested, and now we've been left with a lopsided tree that looks unappealing. Bummer. I specifically told the lead tech that I only wanted tip reduction of about MAX 2nfeet on the lower branches just to reduce the overall weight. I came out after the work was completed to find all the branches on one side, the ones hanging over my roof, to be almost completely lobbed off (with only about 6 feet remaining out of 10+) while the branches on the other side were not. I wasn't concerned about branches hanging over my house because they weren't that far above the roof and not a danger for damaging it. Now our tree is uneven. There was no thought or consideration about how the trimming would look at the end, nor whether or not it looked uniform. It was just a hack job when it came down to it. It's clear that many of the techs don't truly understand the nuances of how to respect and care for an old tree so that it functions the way it would in nature.

I wish I could give this company a higher rating, but, if I'm honest, I regret not going with another knowledgeable provider who was more expensive. I would not have had this issue.

Sound Tree was quick to respond when I submitted a stump grinding quote request. They came out the next day to assess. Their quote was competitive and their service was professional.

The apple and pear tree pruning looks wonderful. We just bought the property and it looked like the two very old trees had not been pruned for probably 20-25 years. Hopefully the trees will continue to flourish. The team worked hard, and cleaned up all debris. We would recommend them!

We had a huge tree smash into our house. Sound Tree came the next morning to cut branches and tarp as best possible. Within a week they were able to remove the trunk from off the roof and clear the yard. Communication is always excellent. This is a professional and hardworking company.

Professional group of tree trimmers. They were on time for both the quote and service date. The quote was reasonable for three large trees including cleanup.
On the service day, they were friendly, on time, and busted out the work quickly and efficiently. They ended up cutting the tree limbs up and away from the curb, thinning to reduce wind sails, and also cleaned up everything. I was able to get a bonus of a couple of buckets of chopped trees to use in my garden too.

We are always worried when we have someone tackle our large laurel hedge. It has a grown-in arch and, after an unfortunately overzealous trimmer, a few bare spots that need nurturing.

We were so pleased with Sound Tree Care! They offered a reasonable price and did a too-notch job, even helping us restore part of the arch that was struggling.

I had a storm take down a tree, landing on my roof. Within a hour or so of emailing them they set up someone to come out that day to take a look at the job, and they had a free slot so they were able to come in and knock it out fast.

Eric and his team were extremely friendly and did the job really fast, and at a very affordable price. Highly recommend

The team from Sound Tree Care was extremely helpful after our recent 'bomb cyclone'. A very large tree had landed across my driveway, preventing me from driving my cars. Since this was not a 'tree in house' situation, it was not top priority. But Sound Tree Care recognized my dilemma and was able to get the driveway cleared within the first week after the storm. I'm hoping to get them to come back and do more cleanup, but that's even lower priority.

The crew from Sound Tree arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job in one day. The long and very tall hedge, is shared between two yards. Having a big enough crew to work both sides and the top was coordinated and smooth. Clean up was great all debris was hauled away. I love looking out my kitchen window and seeing the healthy hedge!

Recieved a quote to remove a tree from the company, approved the quote and paid the down payment. A different employee came out and said we can not remove this tree for this price due to safety concerns and the equipment needed. Asked if they could handle the permit and they said yes np. It took over a month trying to get this done. I ended up calling the city and the tree company (if they ever answered my calls or texts) to get the permit moving along. I do not recommend.

Sound Tree quickly removed a large tall tree whose trunk was extremely close to our two-story house. They had an inspector come out days before the work to ensure no underground wires or pipes would be at risk. They took out the tree in just a couple hours, with absolutely no damage to our house or roof. Couple days later they took our the stump. All clean, extremely well accomplished. Price was approx $2k, fair and reasonable.

They quickly responded to our inquiry, providing a site assessment and detailed estimate of services within a week of contacting them. They took care to arrange the additional assessments for the stump grinding.
The arborist who completed the work was also professional, informative and personable. He removed branches trimmed from tree, reviewed the completed work with me to make sure I was happy with it. We also had a neighbors tree hanging into our yard trimmed and he answered my questions about how long the trim should last before we needed to have this done again. We would definitely reach out to them for their services again or recommend them to family or friends looking for these services.
