As a retired Mortgage Loan Officer, I spent many years attending Sunday open houses to stay connected with the industry and keep an eye on local inventory. Whenever I saw a property listed by Frank Rutledge, owner of Coho Construction & Design, I always made a point to stop in. Frank has built a strong reputation for thoughtfully remodeling homes and improving neighborhoods, and the quality of his work consistently stood out. His renovations were always beautiful, well designed, and clearly done with care.

So when a family member asked if I could recommend a contractor for a major ADA bathroom remodel, the referral was easy.

What had previously been a small office and bathroom was transformed into a fully ADA-accessible bathroom that truly changed her ability to remain comfortably in her home. The project took about six weeks and included a walk-in, wheelchair-accessible shower, a thoughtfully designed toilet area with lifting support, and accessibility features that were both practical and seamless in the design.

The result is not only highly functional but absolutely beautiful. Frank managed to combine accessibility with style in a way that feels natural and elegant. I’m confident that if she ever decides to sell her home, the quality of this remodel will more than pay for itself.

Coho helped me get poorly constructed eaves and siding issues handled in a very tight scheduling window. The work was completed was high quality. Attention to detail!!!! Recommmend!

Frank and his team remodeled two of my bathrooms (main bath and 2nd full bath). Great attention to detail, on time, professional, hard working and clean. The project was managed flawlessly from beginning to end. They also did a great job of helping us make design and material choices. They have great local connections. I highly recommend them!!

Our shower was a huge mess. The previous owner did it fast and cheap. Frank and his crew came in and did a fantastic job of not only tile work on the walls but the floor as well. We are very happy with the look and function. We would definitely recommend them for any work you may need done.

Frank Rutledge and his team did a fantastic job remodeling our main hall and master bedroom bathrooms. This required taking space from closets and moving walls. The work was professional and timely and the results are functional and beautiful.

They also repaired a hole in our ceiling, fixed ceiling settling cracks, and installed updated lighting to our 1955 classic West Seattle home.

I highly recommend.

Frank and his team were AMAZING. Their work ethic is incredible and demonstrated by the quality of their work as well as timeliness. We had a new kitchen remodel as well as new flooring, paint, lighting and new doors throughout. All of the sub contractors that Frank works with showed the same level of quality and service as his construction team. Timeline of completion was less than 6 weeks! We are super happy and highly recommend Coho Construction and Design!

Trent and his team (Pat and Scott) were amazing to work with. We had Trent remodel our unfinished garage to create a new kid's room for our son. He did an absolutely amazing job and came in right on budget. We even ran into an unexpected issue with a small crack in our concrete basement wall. Trent's team solved the issue quickly and we were able to help us move forward as planned. Our son loves the finished room. We could not be happier with Tersuli Construction Services' work. The quality and look of it was everything we could have hoped for.

5 stars Hands Down! It took sooo long for my insurance to get it's... stuff... together, but as soon as they did, the team at Tersuli worked hard and fast to get my job done. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family!!!

Working with Trent and his team is always a great experience. In a day and age when too many people don't communicate, or take a personal approach to business. Tersuli is the exception, I would and do recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

This place is the absolute worst and should be avoided at all costs. I have spent nearly $30k in repairs for absolutely horrid work. Somehow, the insurance company recommends these guys. Tersuli bids out the work to be completed to the cheapest people they can find and it is evident in the craftsmanship. Our effing floors aren’t even level. They tried hiding fire damaged wood instead of replacing it. Tiles are literally falling off of the wall. Cheapest materials that can be sourced are used throughout project. Wrong paint used on house and is peeling off less than a year later. Fence fell over. The list goes on and on. Avoid these guys at all costs. There are plenty of other companies that do fire renovations, just google it.

More work done by Tersuli is failing. I am astounded by the poor craftsmanship of this company. I would post photos, but I fear retaliation from the owner.

The anonymity is used to provide a worthwhile review of the company while protecting myself and my interests from the hostility and contempt that was repeatedly on display between you and your previous business partner. My review is from a paying customer (myself) who feels ripped off. You discrediting my original review is a perfect testimony of what it is like to do business with Tersuli. Again, I reiterate, avoid at all costs!

It was a comfort to have Trent and Joel oversee our remodel and repairs after water damage from a broken kitchen pipe. They are professional, honest, caring and have a team of skilled people to do the work. We are so pleased with the beautiful kitchen and new hardwood floors throughout our condo.

Not only were they professional and communicated every detail, they also had my best interest at heart. We were limited when it came to the insurance funds but they did whatever it took to make everything work for us. I highly recommend them to anyone needing restoration. THANK YOU!

My father had some major fire damage to his home and is not able to coordinate work himself due to his elderly and confused state. I needed a company that was going to work with me on behalf of my father keeping me constantly informed. Tersuli did just that. The owner Trent would check in frequently to make sure I was happy with the progress and kept me fully informed. The work was done perfectly and working with the insurance company was actually easy,, and I attribute that to Tersuli. Everything from the work performed, to the amount of time it took, to the constant communication was incredible. I highly recommend this company. In a very stressful time they definitely helped with the process. Thank you to the Tersuli crew for taking such good care of me and my father.

Trent and team did an incredible job on my kitchen remodel following a flood in my kitchen. Communication was excellent, particularly from Pat, my project manager. He was available by phone or text almost 24-7 and incredibly responsive. When small issues came up (e.g., a seam on a countertop that was not where they originally planned for it to be), he called me with a heads up and a plan for what they were going to do to address it. They coordinated all subcontractors seamlessly and spurred some of them on to finish ahead of schedule. When I brought up even minor issues, they took care of them quickly. Scott's work on the project was great. He knew so much about so many things, and even let me look over his shoulder every once in a while and talked me through what he was doing. He was always there when he said he was going to be there. I would highly recommend Tersuli Construction.
