Economy Landscaping replaced our old railroad tie retaining wall with a block system. The old wall had started to bow and was becoming unsafe. The new one looks much better and feels very solid. The crew worked hard and left the site clean.

We had a very pleasant experience working with Kevin and his team at AKT Landscaping for a two-day yard and garden project that required a ton of weeding, trimming back overgrown trees and bushes, removing dead vegetation, mulching and planting new greenery. When we met Kevin for the initial consultation, we were greeted with a warm smile as he listened closely to our requests and gave his professional input to help us ground and round out our vision. We felt confident Kevin walked away with a solid understanding of our project. In our meetings with other landscaping service providers, we could tell most of the finer details were lost on them. Not on Kevin. He took the time to recap everything we talked about and gave us a quote on the spot. We told him we’d get back to him after doing some comparison shopping.

His price was aligned with other quotes we received. But his level of care and attention to detail is unparalleled, which is what made us want to hire him. An added bonus was that he could start working on our project the very next week, whereas others said it would take at least three weeks before they got to us. What sets Kevin apart from other highly-rated landscaping service providers was his honest way of doing business. We had a different landscaper try to sell us something that wasn’t right for the time of year and another who tried to tack on extra costs based on random variables like how long it takes to get from one side of our yard to the other.

Kevin is the real deal, and he’s not just looking to make a quick buck and get out. He’s right there with the rest of his crew diligently tackling the heftier and riskier jobs with dexterity. One time, we looked out the window as Kevin mounted one of our giant evergreen trees and climbed to the top to trim it away from some telephone wires that were overhead. He’s both fearless and has a great deal of finesse.

He picked out the most beautiful array of hydrangeas for our planter box, and my wife was thrilled by his choices, which showed he has an eye for design. When it was all said and done, Kevin and his team executed on our project without missing a beat, and we can attest to the quality work they do. We highly recommend them!!

Walter and crew built a beautiful with a concrete base to keep the dirt off of our new fence so it will last for years in under a week, and under budget/estimate. I plan to use their services for our future projects.
