I can't recommend Marty more highly based on a long list of home improvement projects, big and small, that he did for me. He does work of the highest quality. He hires people who share his high standards and appears to treat them well. He has great recommendations when I have questions. He leaves the job site in a clean state at the end of the day. And he reacts well when the client (me) changes his mind or adds more items to the list of things to be done. I look forward to hiring him for years to come.

I hired Marty to repair my kitchen ceiling which had considerable water damage. He checked in with me daily by text or phone to let me know when he would be arriving and report to me on the progress of the project. This was very helpful to me and his excellent communication was what pleased me the most. The work was completed in a timely manner and completely met my expectations. I would highly recommend Marty to anyone looking for a conscientious, honest and thorough handyman.

Marty has done a ton of work for us in our house, sometimes on short notice. He is always on-time, honest, and efficient with fair/competitive pricing. He has done a wide range of tasks for us: interior painting, fixing door locks, fixing garage door, sanding of cabinets, fixing dishwasher door, replacing lights, mounting things on walls, and some electric work to replace light switches. Marty is very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. It seems there’s nothing he can’t do! We are so grateful for all of Marty’s work.

Martyn is awesome. In two hours he was able to do everything that I've asked him to do. I wasted at least 5 hours trying to get stuff to work, should have just called him right away :)

I am so happy to have found Handyman Services. My first time was simple, and he was prompt and efficient. The next job was quite challenging. I had a broken hinge on a kitchen cabinet. Unfortunately the cabinet maker has retired. The hinges were from Germany and were incredibly difficult to find. Martyn persisted and made sure he got the right ones. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Honest, Efficient, and On-Time!! We have had a hard time finding honest, reliable contractors since moving to Seattle 2 years ago, which makes our project experience with Marty that much more meaningful!! Marty completed a list of dry wall repair, painting, and some custom build out work in 4 separate rooms with a week. He consistently showed up on time and was very efficient in how he worked, which is important when you have a “by the hour” arrangement. He went out of his way to color match my paint, discuss what he planned to do before starting the work, and completed all the projects way faster than I expected!! I will absolutely use Handyman Services Seattle the next time I need work done around the house!!

kitchen ,bathroom and a small room addition on my west Seattle home they were very professional and the quality of work was excellent the attention to detail topped no other contractor that I have used.I will recomend Greg The Contractor for all your remodeling needs I called him back to build my fence and it was perfect

We hired Seattle Handyman Pros to paint a room, build a fence & remove/replace a wall in our basement. The work was outstanding. The team was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Greg and his team did a bunch of overdue maintenace, repairs to my home. Pipe, fixtures, sheet rock patching Good timely quality work.

We had a rental unit that needed a small bathroom remodeled. Greg was able to complete the project in a hurry so we could get the space rented again, and the bathroom turned out nicer than our own bathroom.

Really appreciated the flexibility and expertise when I had a problem with my kitchen sink.

Greg and his team were outstanding. They repaired and replaced window trim, fascia boards, added bead board to the eaves and painted our 2-story home. They were professional, dedicated, worked extremely hard and I would highly recommend them. Extremely happy with the outcome!

Greg came over and installed a water pressure regulator into our house. He also nicely fixed our wall. He was super friendly, explained everything, and was extremely competent. He also came over within a day of calling. Competitive pricing too. Would highly recommend, and we will be contacting him in the future for sure.

I called Greg about a leak in my downstairs ceiling. Thought it was going to be an easy fix. It turned out my tub and tub surround had to be replaced. Greg replaced my tub, installed new shower/tub valve, mosiac tile border, caulked and sealed all areas to prevent leak. He even calked and fixed my toilet and an outlet. This job took 3 long days. Greg was great, very knowledgeable and patient. He knew I am a retiree and was on a tight budget. Greg worked with me and charged me a very reasonable price plus gave me a senior discount. I am very happy with the results. I would definately hire Greg to do any plumbing or handyman job and recommend him to my friends and neighbors

Shop around. There are better contractors to work with. Greg provided a verbal estimate for some plumbing over the phone initially. His price was reasonable so I asked him to also provide an estimate for additional work that I needed for a kitchen remodel. He encouraged me to have an in home estimate appointment (costing $150+ tax) to get a better idea of the work that was needed. He sent two people to see the kitchen and get the details of the work I needed. Greg called me days later to tell me a "rough estimate" to be around 17-18K. I was surprised given his initially estimate for the plumbing was so reasonable. Days later he texted me that he can get the price down to about 12K. But still no breakdown or written estimate. When I told him this was out of my budget, he came down further to 9K if I paid cash. I asked him to send the written breakdown so I could choose which parts of the work I would consider having him do. When I finally got the estimate, it was missing key points of the work I needed. When I later spoke to him about my confusion, he raised his voice at me, gaslit me, and said he couldn't give me a better estimate because he wasn't the one at my home doing the intake. Needless to say after having that conversation with him, I chose not to hire him for any of the work. He also would not reimburse me for the estimate even though I never got a clear written estimate EVER. Don't work with someone who gives you the run around. I found other contractors who happily came out to give a free consultation and provided a detailed estimate to consider. I can recommend: Flip House Handyman, Handyman 206, and Big Sky Handyman. All of which came in under Greg's inconsistent estimate and were respectful during the process.
