Reviews of local pros in Seattle, Washington

They painted the exterior of our house. There were some problems with missed communications at the beginning with some resulting delays in getting the project started. Once Darwin arrived, he proceeded to do an excellent job in completing the job. He was careful and had a great tecnique with his work. We were happy with the result.

Short info: Great communication and excellent results!

Detailed info: Tera was very easy to work with. They came out to look at the house and gave us an official bid within a couple days. After we signed the contract, it was only a couple more days before they came out to prep the house. From to start finish of actually painting, it was less than a week, though it's worth noting that our house isn't very big.
Before they officially finished, Michael and Alex came by to do a walk around with us. We pointed out a couple spots that needed touched up, and Alex found a couple things he thought could look better. We didn't have to convince them to get the crew out to fix anything, they just did it! To err is human, but it's how you handle mistakes what separates the good from the great.
I would definitely recommend Tera. We love our new paint job!

Did the exterior of a townhouse complex and did a decent job. Had to make sure I had a paper trail for everything I said in case they tried to change the price or agreement, which they tried to with the roof top deck. They claimed they never agreed to stain the deck, which I had email proof of (luckily!). When they sanded and stained the rooftop decksc, I paid to have them replace the broken/old boards. i found they had skipped the boards on the other side of the railing, which I had to have them come back and fix. Post inspection, I also found 4-5 broken boards that they were going to charge me by the hour to come back and fix. They also trampled a tree beside the house and I had to get them to come back and post it back up.

Update: Matt, the owner, reached out to fix the issue hours after I posted this review. I sincerely respect the customer service and his attention to his business. Within the next couple days, he came and addressed the boards. Definitely makes a huge difference in the overall experience.

Update v2: just inspected my Weber gas grill while putting it away for the winter and there is speckled paint on the whole thing. Meaning they didn’t even attempt to cover the grill or move it up wind when they were painting.

This project went from stressful to very easy. Tera Came in and gave suggestions and guidelines And made everything pretty seamless. The two painters were lovely and prompt and did a wonderful job.

Tera Painting did a wonderful job painting our house. In addition, our interaction with the team, both managers and workers, was impeccable. It was a pleasure to have such hard-working professionals involved in the project. We changed our mind regarding color after the project started and they addressed the change calmly and quickly, the mark of an outfit that values good customer service. Special shout outs to Carlos, Evan and Hector for their good communication skills and obvious expertise.

We hired Tera Painting to paint our dated oak kitchen cabinets and entertainment center as well as apply a fresh coat of paint on our bathroom cabinets. This is a project I dreaded doing for obvious reasons, but their team made it as easy and painless as possible. L&S were wonderful to work with. They were very respectful, thoughtful of our time and space, great attention to detail, double checked the scope of work when in doubt, communicative and even put up with me very friendly and social dog. But most important of all they did a beautiful job on our cabinets…couldn’t be happier.

The crew from Tera Painting were among the best I've ever used. From the initial meeting to discuss the project and get a bid, to the timing of the work itself, and most of all, the final results. All were excellent. I'm rather picky when it comes to having work done on my home, and Tera was able to satisfy me with the quality of their work in refinishing the exterior wood doors on my house. Special shout-outs to Matt, Evan and of course Fabian!

Working with Matt was easy and he was very attentive to my questions and needs. The project was done on time and at the price quoted. Ivan, the lead, is a very nice and professional guy. The paint job and trim installation looked great. There were minor issues which I brought up and they came out to do touch ups without complaint and remained professional throughout. Overall a great experience. Would hire again.

The entire team at Tera were great to work with from the initial bid, through the planning and execution of my exterior home painting.
Mark met with me and walked the property to discuss options.
The bid was professionally documented and included options so that I could make some informed decisions to include my house, a separate studio, and a shed.
The job included painting siding of two different types (vinyl and wood) in two different colors, trim, 4 doors, varnished soffits and stained porch decking.
As we got closer to the time, I was provided information to help select paint colors, and explanation of their approaches for managing the assignment through weather variables. We settled on a week in May and when the weather didn’t fully cooperate they didn’t rush, but took the time to get things right. The prep work showed attention to detail, and they were careful to protect surroundings from overspray.
When we discovered some wood that needed repair during the painting, they tackled it professionally. When I asked for suggestions for a small unfinished area in the soffit, they adjusted and accommodated, with a proposal, and then completed the adjustment skillfully.
Chloe kept me apprised of progress while I traveled. Arturo and the team of painters worked skillfully and their experience showed.
We did a final walk through and addressed a few minor touch ups I pointed out. Several days later, they came back to add traction tape on my front porch steps and drop off the touch up paint nearly labeled with colors on the paint can lids.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. A big thank you to Tera Painting for the professional and skillful work they did, the attention to detail, and the care they took in communicating and responding to me during the entire process.
I highly recommend them and will use them again!

Cannot recommend Terra painting enough. We had walls, ceilings, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom cabinets painted. The whole team was amazing, especially Chloe and Luis. They worked carefully, quickly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the job. And we are! It feels like we have a whole new house!

In the last year, I’ve had many contractors due to a house purchase / renovation. I don’t usually leave reviews. However, Tera painting outcome, quality and service was so outstanding that they deserve a review and > five stars. It started off with a very good advisor who was more advisor than sales person which I liked. They weren’t the cheapest but price was competitive (got 3 bids). I had checked reviews and was looking for professionalism, good timely service and job done correctly the first time - They exceeded my expectations! They set great expectations and did everything they said they were going to do. They helped me on paint color when I requested it and even threw in additional painting on plant hangers (“We also want the final results to look great and these little touches matter.”) The painters were great and Evan (project manager extraordinaire) was great keeping me informed, especially with unseasonal rain delay. When the rain prevented the job from being completed before the weekend, they helped make sure the house looked good for our weekend dinner party. I have already recommended and will definitely use them again

Tera Painting just got done painting the exterior of my house and it turned out Beautiful ! Evan, Carlos, Héctor and the team were Wonderful to work with. They all worked extremely hard each day to get the job done. They also have incredible customer service, I was very impressed with all of them. I Highly recommend them and I hope to hire them in the future for other home projects.

We had a great experience with Tera Painting. Great price and quality work. Their crew was so efficient and thorough in their work, both with the prep and the actual painting. They diligently took care of everything pointed out in final walkthrough and left our property exactly how they had found it. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend if you’re looking for quality work at a competitive price point. We love how it turned out, thank you!

My experience with Tera Painting was really great. The quote was reasonable and the attention to detail from the start helped me to decide to go with Tera for our exterior house-painting project. Each day the painting crew was always on time, respectful and professional and they did a great job cleaning up. Communication with the office and the crew was always clear and they were great responding to any questions or concerns we had. We were able to coordinate the gutter replacement with the painting schedule which made it so much easier. I highly recommend Tera for exterior house painting projects. Our house looks so much better! Even our neighbors complimented us on how great the house looks now! Thanks, Tera!

I hired Tera Painting to paint my upcoming baby’s room and closet. They were very easy to work with and Fabian did an excellent job. It turned out exactly like I expected and he was very fast. Thank you!

Everyone was so friendly at Tera Painting. During my quote, I was immediately comfortable with the sharing of knowledge as we walked around the house discussing the project. Joel and Carlos arrived Every morning at 8 AM and worked until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day. Evan came by twice to check how the job was going and talked with me about what I wanted to do with my front door. I didn’t want it painted so he suggested sanding and staining the front door. Oh my Gosh! Front door looks brand new. I definitely recommend Terra Painting. They take pride in their work!

We had a great experience with Tera Painting! They were professional, the job came out great, they did a walkthrough to make sure we were satisfied and just overall great to work with. Thanks so much, we’ll be working with them again!

Luis and his helper did a fantastic job painting my cabinets. They gladly did a little extra trim painting for me as well as being thoughtful enough to add small clear rubber bumpers to eliminate damage from opening the doors. Matt was a pleasure to work with and accommodated my odd schedule, I really appreciate that. I’m very picky about small details and they really did a super job overall. The pictures are before (oak) and after (gray).

We just finished 3 painting projects with Tera Painting. The warmth and professionalism
of the team was refreshing. Evan and Chloe did very fair quotes, with helpful advice. Matt was very easy to work with as changes came up.

Alec and Johnny both were excellent craftsman, thoughtful, very professional, and a pleasure to have in our home.

The results are exactly what we were hoping for as a refresh of our 20+ year home.

We made very creative colors choices, sophisticated yet inviting and comfortable, we are sticklers for getting it right.
We took time to choose well, and our two painters gave us helpful suggestions along the way. I’d hire Tera again in a heartbeat.

Tera employs skilled painters. The lines around the molding were crisp. Holes were filled well, and these walls had a lot of holes that had to be filled. Furnishings were covered carefully and weren't damaged during the painting. The painters were pleasant to have in the house. They arrived on time and worked steadily throughout the day. We would hire them again.

These folks did a detailed painting job and door installation at a condo downtown. There are a lot of rules in condos and the crew was spectacular and efficient and polite and thorough. The management of the building which happens to be where I live were truly impressed about how they never once had to worry about the crew. And of course, the work was perfect. What a great company and I hope to work with them again and again.
