Taylor Baker, plumber, replaced my leaking water valves under my kitchen sink along with installing my new faucets on two sinks. He was knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything in a manner I could understand. He explained the Mainstream Care Club benefits but did not pressure me to sign up. After evaluating the benefits, I signed up for a membership. I was very pleased with Taylor Baker. He showed up when he said he would and cleaned up after his installation. I will definitely ask for him for any future plumbing issues.

Steven M came to my house the end of January for an estimate on some work. He then asked me if there was anything else. I mentioned a utility sink that I needed fixing. He checked it out and tightened something and it was fixed! No charge! This week I called him back to do some other plumbing work, he did an excellent job fixing another sink and my on-demand water heater. Steven is a very nice and thoughtful guy. Such a polite young man. I would definitely ask for him if I needed any more plumbing work done!

Ricky was punctual, kind, and professional. He assessed the situation, clearly communicated his process and my options/estimates, and resolved my problem quickly and efficiently. He even kindly indulged my four year old son's curiosity. Thank you for a great experience!

I just dealt with Sam Rodriguez. What a wonderful, professional young man! He explained everything to my satisfaction, presented me with options, and fixed all my plumbing problems. He even used the discount coupons I had. I was very grateful for Sam's help today, and what a sterling representative of your company!

The crew at mainstream heating , cooling , plumbing, and electrical are amazing. They were able to fit us in and get my garbage disposal fixed same day. I really appreciate the professionalism and prompt service. I would definitely hire these guys again. Our technician was Steve , he took his time and explained all my options. Great guy to talk too. He did a great job in making sure I understood what was being done , what needed to be done and the solution to my problem. Great crew , five starts in my book. Thanks

I have used these guys twice for clogged drain and replacement. Jaymin and Taylor came out right away and they were awesome! I am so happy with their service and work. Our drains work like new, they answered all questions/concerns, and their explanation was clear and easy for a non-plumber like me to understand. I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs, really great guys!

Customer service from Matt was very friendly, efficient and speedy! Thank you. Labor was done by Sam he was very capable and analyzed the issues at hand and got the first issue (sump pump) replaced .His boss brought the new sump pump out so Sam could get started on the task at hand. Great team work very friendly! There are a couple more pipe issues that will be taken care of soon, I have every confidence the job will be well done after seeing the good work today! Start to finish attaboys! And thank you Gentlemen!

We had a very old water heater that was still working and needed to upgrade it (see photo) we were able to remove the old heater and Mainstream came and installed a new modern unit . Thank you

I was without heat and Mainstream sent out Adam B. within an hour. He went through all the parts of my furnace and even invited me to watch so he could explain what he was looking at. Turns out I had several components that would soon need replacing, but the main offender was a fried blower motor. Adam worked up a repair estimate with several options. He didn't pressure me, but it was clear to me that the cost of even replacing the blower would not be a wise investment in my old furnace. I opted to have the furnace replaced and I'm really happy with the decision. Jacob B. was out first thing the next morning to remove my old furnace and install the new one he brought. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and did a first class installation. Adam helped with starting the process, and 24 hours later I'm warm again with my new furnace. Thanks Adam B. for being so helpful in explaining my options and to Jacob B. for such a clean and professional installation. And thanks Mainstream for being so prompt at serving my needs.

We recently purchased a new furnace and air conditioner for our north side home. Isaac and Shawn were our installation tech’s and they did a fantastic job. They had to evacuate the old furnace and conditioner unit and had the new units up and running by mid-afternoon. Highly recommend them if you’re in the market for upgrade.

Since contacting mainstream for our devastating situation, we have learned a few things we need to share.

They are the most expensive company out there. We had them come back out and give an estimate for something we were familiar with (unlike the original issue) and had two other comparable companies give us quotes. Mainstream was more than over double the other quotes.

We have met 4 individuals who have left mainstream strictly because of the price gouging. Multiple who said “they couldn’t sleep at night knowing what they were charging innocent people”. Literally different meetings and they said the same things about their previous employer, Mainstream.

We are absolutely sick to our stomachs. We gave them over $11,000 for a re-pipe of one bathroom. We have looked into the work done and what was charged and it’s dishonest and disheartening. We pray no one falls for this business.

One thing I will say is that there are some nice people who work there. Unfortunately, because they charged us so much, we don’t consider them nice anymore. We were taken advantage of because we didn’t have the time to get a second opinion (due to flooding toilets). If only we could go back in time, we never would have given mainstream a single penny. We are severely disappointed.

Another quite HUGE issue to note is when they kept calling me to come out and make up more stuff to fix, I was quite firm and said never call again. Since that call, I have received numerous text messages to confirm my upcoming appointments. They are spamming me with false appointments now. What kind of company acts like this? What kind of employee would take their time to make fake appointments, just to get a rise out of a client? Wow. Do not get caught using this company. You will be happier somewhere else, not to mention have a lot more money left over.

Best plumbing team we could have asked for! They responded incredibly fast and the quality of their work has been outstanding. Every team member was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Honest, hardworking service like this is rare these days, and Mainstream Electric truly sets the standard. Highly recommend.

Jacob Banks was pleasant and knowledgeable. Very nice young man. He explained what was wrong with our laundry room drain and what it would take to fix it. Then he called Matthew Gipson who came and verified his verdict. Both men were excellent! Thank you both.

We had a great experience with this company. Our older gas boiler had been giving us some troubles for the better part of a year. We’d had a couple different companies out to do small tuneups. This resulted in the boiler working well for a week or two then having similar issues shortly afterwards

Doug with Mainstream Electric had worked on boilers for nearly two decades but was new to the company. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue that others had completely missed. The boiler is running like new.

I would highly recommend requesting Doug from this company if you need boiler work done. His many years of experience was evident right away. He did a great job of explaining the issues to us without coming off as pushy or condescending. We’ll be using this company again for future services.

Mainstream was fantastic to work with. Very transparent and professional. We had a cracked heat exchanger in our 23 year old furnace. They gave us multiple options for replacement and Josh came out to install. Everything was clean, professional and they even streamlined the sheet metal above the furnace and air conditioning since it was a shorter unit that we had prior. When they left everything was clean and you would never know they were there other than the new furnace. They answered all of our questions and made sure we understood everything prior to leaving.

Mainstream is AMAZING! Special shout out to Dan the Electrician and Johnny was super sweet. Kendal was great every single contractor was amazing. I will preface my saying I dont have a lot. I also have severe ADHD. It took me years to settle my career on my own, and raise two kids. I eventually had to move from my Rental. That was Ok, i had a job now so, I bought a house. It had knob and tube wiring. I did not care. I bought it because it was in my price range (not much was) and it was close to school. It passed inspection. I needed this. Fast forward today (years later). I NEED central A/C and the furnace im sure needs replaced. But also, the knob and tubes, gotta go. Whom you gonna call for this tripple threat?? Mainstream. They fell perfect as far as quotes (I got more than one), not to mention the wiring. I need someone who can do it all; I cant be dealing with multiple contacts/contractors. They got me financed and sold; and an expert electrician (Dan) to fix EVERYTHING (electric). Dan came in on a day it was 100. In my house it was well over 90. He did not leave until I was hooked up and the temp was below 80 inside. Im so happy and proud right now. They did everything I asked and more. They also worked with my schedule; I am a banker, and we acquired (this is acquisition week) another bank, meaning I HAVE to be at work right now. Long story short, just make it easy and call Mainstream ;)

I couldn't imagine a better experience. Our water heater was 20 years old and finally croaked. I called mainstream and they sent a tech out same day. Steve worked up the estimate for me and, beyond being professional and informative, was wonderfully personable and kind. He continued to help me through the paperwork process after making several amendments to the estimates to make the project work for my budget. Nick and Josh came out and knocked the whole job out in one day. They were diligent, extremely considerate of my napping newborn throughout the day and left the place cleaner than they found it. From customer service, to prompt scheduling and excellent installation service, 10/10 would recommend that people take their business to the folks at Mainstream.

Mainstream came through with flying colors during our kitchen leak. Nick and Josh were the technicians that fixed the leak issue and they couldn’t have been more respectful and work quickly and throughly to get the job done. We’re super happy with the service provided! Mainstream is a awesome company from the first call to the team that took care of us.

Technician/Salesman was polite, pleasant, and fairly quick. "Appointment" date was set a couple of weeks ago but not a time. It wasn't until the set day that I knew an approximate time and got a call asking if it was OK for the tech to come. Even a 2-hour window of time might have been better, having scheduled the day weeks before. I don't have a day to sit around waiting, which is why I make appointments. And having paid for their services before, I anticipated an add-on "offer" for a coil cleaning ("premium service at a premium price"). I wasn't disappointed. I passed. Most of us, especially retired folks, don't have that amount of income, and percentages (60% off) don't really mean anything to me in any sales pitch.

I had my furnace checked out because it had been awhile, and I am physically unable to access it on my own. Tony was very personable and took time to discuss the details of what he was going to do and the possibilities. He made me feel at ease and proceeded to check it out. He determined that even though it was old, it was still operating fine and changed the filter for me as well. He sat and took some time and let me bounce some other concerns I had off him. He suggested the Care Club Plan, which I decided to do. I really enjoyed him and definitely will be asking for him when the time comes for my furnace to be replaced.

A couple weeks later, Steven McGloflin came to check out my water heater. I had no issues with it, but it was 22 years old, and I hadn’t had it flushed in a really long time. What a blessing! He went far beyond my expectations. As I am unable to access it, he took pictures and a video for me to see before he really got into it. It became obvious that I really needed to get a new heater.
I asked if he could fix my leaky bathtub faucet, and he did have the part and changed the cylinder in the faucet. [He also lowered a chandelier so that I could clean the crystals and then later changed the bulbs for me and raised it back up.] He also cleaned up a mess around the water heater for me. He was professional, cheerful and energetic. He never stopped until he was finished. I felt like I was hearing the Energizer Bunny go up and down the stairs! :)
Afterward, he went through the warranty process with me, emailed me pictures and copies of all invoice and warranty info. It was so nice to have it all organized for me. It took me 3 weeks to get this review done because I had to keep editing to get it down to a readable size. Steven McGloflin will be my Go-To guy for plumbing.
