Wow!! I didn’t think I would ever have to go through this experience with a water leak!! All the people involved from the beginning to the end helped make this less stressful!! I appreciate Kate in billing for her patience with me and also Toni and I believe his name was Cody(?). They returned my furniture and boxes at the end. They all were so sweet and hardworking! Thank you so much!!!

Met with Josh from restoration one, came and looked at the supposed to damage. Gave us his opinion, straight shooter.

Great experience, went into depth showing us the temperature, moisture level and the next steps with the sensors deployed. Josh was knowledgeable about the situation understood the steps the needs.

Really appreciate the help l, would call them again in a heart beat, thanks again Josh for your time.

Ron Brooks is outstanding! He is personable and has a wealth of knowledge. He came to interrogate for potential water damage in a room below the master en-suite. Can’t recommend him highly enough

Initially, I had an awesome experience with Restoration 1 in Spokane. Jessica, the project manager, was fantastic in coordinating the crews to come to my location to remove water, mold, vapor barrier, and insulation in Post Falls, ID. The crews that were sent out were professional, and I worked the most with Jake and Zach. All of the guys that showed up were professional, courteous, and were clearly working hard to remedy the issue at my home. I would recommend Restoration 1 without a doubt for any sort of remediation service. However, that’s where my recommendation stops. Restoration 1 has a rebuild division which can restore your home to the previous condition, prior to the loss. Initially, I intended to use the rebuild division of Restoration 1 to restore my home, but I was told they were quite busy. I am fortunate enough to know people to assist with rebuild services, so I called them and they said they would help. Towards the end of the project, I had someone reach out to see if I would be interested in rebuild services. This individual’s name is Travis. Travis told me that they could help with the process. I mentioned to them that I had someone helping with the rebuild services. He said no problem but reach out if I need it. The following day, I had remembered that I need assistance with vapor barrier and crawl space insulation so I reached back out to Travis. Travis told me they weren’t interested in “such a small project.” I didn’t understand, as this is a costly ($6-7k+) service, supposedly, and not small at all. I told Travis that I had no one to do this work and I didn’t know what to do since Restoration 1 removed the vapor barrier and insulation to begin with. He referred me to a competitor company and never followed up. This conversation was through text messaging and I’d be happy to provide the exchange to someone tracking these reviews. So, in closing, Jessica and her team are phenomenal, hardworking people, but that’s where the buck stops. It’s a shame that a company would remove critical items from your home but then not replace them. I would stay away from this company unless you own a multimillion dollar mansion, because they’ll leave you hanging when it comes back to fixing your home unless they get to do it all, and the rebuild side can determine what your “worth” is and whether or not their time is more important than supporting a client through a loss. If I could do it all over again, I’d go with a different company that is willing to walk alongside and support the client the entire stressful, expensive, and inconvenient way.

I’d like to give a special thanks to the entire crew who had contributed towards the much needed project at my new home. Josh Harty, Tanya, Seth, Christian, Ricardo, and a few others who I’ve forgotten your names but I do remember your faces lol to you guys I say thank you, you’ve been awesome! 🤘🏽 I would highly recommend these guys to anyone, and I would personally go through them again if I needed to. I greatly appreciate the teams schedule flexibility and communication. I hope that I made things easy on my end for you to perform. You guys have a great summer and continue to kick butt 💪🏽

Restoration 1 was at our house within the hour after calling. They communicated everything that needed to be done and then got it done. Everyone involved was friendly and skilled in the part they were responsible to do. Thank you Ron, Jessica, Haiden, Robbie and Zack.

Restoration 1 has been a beautiful blessing!!! They are kind and courteous. Have been so helpful. Patient with me and my Service Dog in Training, (while at my house.) I would be lost throughout this process without them.

Thank you: Josh H, Jessica, Vicky, Christian, Kyle, Hannah, Releigh, Jacob, Amy H, Kylee (?) & Kylee F, Chezly, Tyler, and Robbie. Hopefully I included everyone! They were an amazing team! Worked great together and communicated well with me.

I had an after hours issue so I called a plumber to come fix the issue. When they were done, they called Josh with restoration 1 and within 35 minutes he was at my home, making an assessment. Although he did recommend cleanup, he suggested that it was such a small space that was affected that I could do it myself for less money. I appreciate the honesty and integrity. He brought through my door. I would highly recommend their services.

I had an unexpected event in my basement and when Josh showed up, he took control of the entire situation. I had just returned home after three weeks in the hospital after major back surgery so my daughter was here when Josh showed up to discuss the issue. he called the insurance company got the claim number assessed the situation downstairs and his team showed up the very same day to start the process of the flood I had in my basement. he is very professional as is his team and he goes the extra mile to make sure that the job will be done with expertise and complete restoration.. this will be a long project with cleanup and replacing what was damaged by this incident… I would highly recommend Josh and his company to anyone needing immediate response and professionalism from his team .. He is the real deal as well as his employees. Josh is taking care of all insurance claims and that is a huge weight off my shoulders.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE SET FOOT ON YOUR PROPERTY! Do not sign anything they hand to you on an iPad, send it all to an attorney.

Let's start at the top, there was a tiny flood from a broken pipe in my mostly gutted basement (the house was being renovated) and my plumber came and repaired the pipe and recommended this private equity firm. (Don't worry I left the plumbers a bad review after dealing with restoration one and even though I've used them a lot in the past, I won't be letting them back in my house either). So restoration one rolls up and starts doing stuff. (I had already set up my dehumidifier and shop vacuumed up most of the water).

I did the walk through with Jessica after being referred to Josh. I had recently had asbestos and lead testing done because the tenants who moved out demanded it. The floors had previously been removed etc. Restoration one completed the unnecessary testing for lead and asbestos and charged $1200 for it, I told Jessica I had testing done through a private company shortly before the flood and knew there was no lead or asbestos in the house. Additionally, I asked multiple times, multiple employees if restoration one would work with me/homeowners about the cost and was told yes, they will pretty readily remove charges (this has proven to be extremely untrue). My insurance company said R1 wouldn't even negotiate when a third party mediation company was called in to help settle the dispute.

Either way, they brought in some dehumidifiers, an air scrubber and they did drywall flood cuts in the effected bathroom, bedroom and hallway for a few days. They originally said it would be $13k and then sent another bill for $17k. Other restoration companies and a mediation company did comparisons and estimates for the work/area and said $6k tops. (We'll circle back to this).

The restoration team was terrible about communicating, complete with dragging the removed drywall through my lawn and leaving white chalk marks/lines and stealing the neighbor's hose to clean it up. . .but only after I asked them about it. They also left the hose still attached to the house and laid out. I called R1 and got the run around about most things. I got a call from Scott after I bit off his employee's head because I was tired of no one being able to answer my questions or call me back etc. I left a one star review and he asked me to take it down, so I did until the conversation/situation ended.

The shitty customer service experience was complete with the CEO Scott calling me up and giving me ultimatums and stating he was going to sue my homeowners' insurance. (I'm always suspicious when a "small business owner's" default is to involve attorneys because that's expensive and time consuming). He also was very nonchalant about wanting me to just hand over the $5600 check from my insurance company. The fact most of his staff seem afraid of him, also made me concerned. So my insurance said they would only pay for 5 days of mitigation work tops, especially in a house with no flooring at the time of the flood damage. My original insurance adjuster was a jerk and I requested a new one. The new one was very fair and understanding, and tried to work with restoration one but they pretty much refused to negotiate or budge on their $17k demand. So R1 started playing games with my insurance adjuster, me and trying to demand various sums of money (13k to 17k to 6k to 10k).

DO NOT GIVE THEM the check your insurance company mails to you without a letter stating you are paid in full. The whole thing feels very fraudulent and slimy because they call it a "deposit" but it's more than fair. It also can get you into legal hot water.

I highly recommend hiring an attorney and getting some advice/help before giving them a dime if you made the same mistake I did and let them in your house. You need to know your legal rights. Do not take their calls, treat them like tenants you want to evict, make all exchanges written. Scott is going to respond to my review, please ignore his fluffy, politically correct nonsense.

Had a second septic backup in our bathroom. Josh couldn't find any signs of damage. They were quick to respond, as they did in February of last year.
That time there was significant damage and they helped us deal effectively and directly with our insurance. All their employees were very professional and did great work for us! Highly recommend hiring them!

Mark was the project manager that handled my water mitigation after a busted pipe. He and his team were fantastic! They were always respectful, timely and conscientious. Mark clearly explained everything and helped me through this very stressful process. I highly recommend them!

Imitially, I was told by the fist insurance agent that they would pay Restoration 1 directly. I didn't find out until weeks later that they were sending us a check and we were to pay Restoration 1. So I called the billing department to find out if we needed to pay a late fee as we were coming up on 30 days and the check I was sending would be getting there after 30 days. I talked with Kate, she was very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this company. We were so impressed from the beginning of the job to the end.

We were concerned about a musty smell in our house and the possibility of microbial mold buildup. Justin came to give us a quote on remediation. He discovered a very small water leak and a small amount of mold. It was such a small job that he told us how we could fix it ourselves and did not charge us anything. Justin is a man of integrity and honesty. We highly recommend him and his company.

Having an issue with my basement pipes was overwhelming and a nightmare!! But The Restoration 1 people have been amazing. Everyone has been so kind and pleasant. Josh, Adam, Jacob, Haiden, Vicky, and more have helped me through it all.

These past few days, the contents team came and cleared out my entire basement. Summer, Chezly, Bryon, and Kolby were so amazing - so kind, so professional - I can’t say enough about how great they were!

Having to have people come into my home and pack up all my personal things that are stored could have felt like a nightmare. But it didn’t and it wasn’t because they were so wonderful!!! I am so grateful!

I can't say enough about how appreciative we are to the team at Restoration 1. It was a Sunday afternoon when we had a catastrophic sewage flood in our basement. One call to Josh and he had a team to our home in less than two hours. Edwar and Victor were compassionate, hard working and very professional and treated all areas of our home with strict sanitation protocol. Josh was very friendly and knowledgeable, and came over right away the next day and helped us open our claim with our homeowners insurance. There's still more work to be done but he's fully explained the process and we look forward to working with the rest of the team as we move forward. I highly recommend Restoration 1. I went from feeling completely overwhelmed to knowing that I was in good hands and I didn't have to do any heavy lifting! Thank you!

Highly recommended company! Josh Harty was great. I had a very slow leak detected by my Leak Bot and he came in with Josh with Anthony Arroyo from Platinum Rooter & Plumbing and scanned entire plumbing system. No leak was found so they are contacting the rep from Leak Bot for me. No charge visit! That’s amazing and very appreciated!

From beginning to end our experience with Restoration 1's crew was detailed, supportive, and with great customer service.
We had a small water pipe break in the wall that we fortunately discovered quickly. After the pipe was repaired Restoration came out and took care of mitigation and demo. We initially met with Josh, who explained everything in great detail about steps to expect, why each step was done, what it will financially look like, how it will work with insurance, and what to expect for a timeline and communication. All this before we signed anything.
Jessica was our project manager, and her communication was outstanding. She fielded a majority of the communication with insurance (per our request), and made a stressful situation so much easier to manage.
The teams she sent out: Austin, Game, Zack, and Jacob, were all fantastic. They're communication via phone and in-person was profession and timely. They all took into great consideration that we have people in the house with lung issues and containment of all the demo work needed to be done with that consideration. They were great with follow-up, making sure we understood timelines and why steps were being done before they were done. On top of the great service, they were all wonderful to talk to and many laughs were had. Another great way to make a stressful situation easier to navigate.

After we had a water leak that soaked through and created a hole in the drywall basement ceiling, Josh reviewed the situation; he felt it was too small of a job to get them involved, although if we wanted that, he would make it happen. The people he recommended did a quick and excellent job. We appreciated Josh's integrity and would definitely reach out to Restoration 1 again when an issue arises!

In the fall, I had a pipe burst and it caused damage to the entry way to my condo. Jason and his team members Restoration 1 came in so quick and were so kind, helpful and communicative of what to expect during this process and next steps. Shout out to Ben who was so kind and quick with taking out the old floor and trim and killed a couple spiders in the process!! I didn’t get a chance to learn all the names of the guys that helped with the wall removal and fans to help dry out the water but they were so professional, kind and worked so quick! And shout out to the packing team because they packed and moved all of my teams beautifully and nothing was damaged in the process! I had the privilege of meeting Kirsten who came in to look at how much dry wall would be needed and get a lay of the land and she communicated everything between Joe and Drue who were the two that helped transform my space to a beautiful, modern, clean, put together space. I could not be more thrilled for how it turned out their work and effort! I cried tears of joy! Please know if I could give every one of you a big hug I absolutely would! Thank you for making this a pain free process as much as possible and taking care of my space and making it the space of my dreams!

My wife Leslie and I would like to give a huge shoutout to the amazing Restoration1 team of Britney, Haiden, Craig, Manos, and Jeremiah for doing an outstanding job! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and extremely thorough. They took the time to clearly explain everything to my wife, which truly helped ease her stress and gave her peace of mind.
Thank you all for your hard work we truly appreciate it!
Last but certainly not least, a big shoutout to Nick!!! for quickly sending the team out as soon as I called.
