Restoration 1 gets 5 plus stars in my book! It didn’t start out perfectly but as the saying goes, “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.” Right? It’s hard to distill a long story into a few sentences but the short version is as follows: Going back several months we discovered water damage from a leak in the closet that houses the HVAC system and water heaters. Based on a recommendation we contacted, but did not have the best experience with one of the company’s sales representatives. Months later as we were getting ready to green light the project with another company, I was contacted by Nick, the new project manager at Restoration 1. He and Brendan G came out to assess the work that needed to be done and both were determined to make things right. From start (demolition) to finish (new flooring and dry wall) Brendan took control and made everything go smoothly. Communication was great. The timeline quoted accurate. The inconvenience to us was minimal and best of all the crew of guys did an excellent job! I highly recommend Restoration 1 and would not hesitate to call them should the need arise.

We had a hot water tank suddenly geyser so the floor, carpet and walls were quite wet. Dried with towels and the plumber replacing the tank recommended having a restoration company come in to ensure no mold developed. Ron came right out, checked everything very thoroughly and said we did great so we didn’t need their services. Thanks for the fast response and thorough examination of the area and the honest report that we were good to go. Will definitely call them again if/when needed.

Josh and Seth from Restoration 1 did an outstanding job inspecting my house for sewer damage. They were both extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my options. Their expertise and customer service were top-notch. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable restoration services!

My mother-in-law recently had a water leak inside her home from an outdoor water access. We had several gentleman come out over a period of a couple of weeks taking steps to clean up the water damage, treat for mold and dry out the subfloor. Cy and Emilio and Fernando and Isaiah were professional, empathetic and helpful. These young men made a big difference in the experience for our mother by being kind and patient, and explaining what they were doing. Our mother has Alzheimer’s and it was very helpful for her to experience their exceptional service.
I need to also mention Justus, our project manager, as he has been a pleasure to work with. We need this project to wrap up quickly, since we have to move to other commitments soon. His help in keeping our project moving forward will hopefully allow us to be here when the project wraps up. Thank you to all at Restoration 1, you have made a difficult situation much less painful.

I had a great experience with this company! Josh came out to inspect a potential issue area in my home, and I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. He took the time to thoroughly assess the situation and explain everything clearly, all at no charge. It's not often you find a company that’s this honest and helpful. I truly appreciate the outstanding service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing restoration services!

Restoration 1showed up in a hurry when my upstairs toilet broke and drained all over my dining room. Josh was professional and reassuring. I did not go through with the mitigation due to unrelated reasons and I really appreciate that there was no high pressure tactics used on us. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them in the future. Shout out to Jason as well.

Restoration 1 has exceeded my expectations from the moment I was introduced to the first member of their staff. Josh arrived rapidly to assess the issue and got the ball rolling with no delay. Every single member of their team that stepped foot into my house was both professional and courteous. Eduar, Denzel, Adam, Dallin, Scott, Joe, Calen, and our PM Tanya gave us first class service, and every one of them are a credit to the Restoration 1 organization. Should we ever require these type of services agai, I will not hesitate to call Restoration 1.

Edit: 6 months later we had a second incident, and I did not hesitate to call back as soon as something happened. Even though our insurance company was making things difficult from the first incident, Restoration 1 came and took care of us once again without delay. Many of the same faces as before with a few new additions came and had us drying out and getting on the road to recovery. Each and every member of the R1 staff that walked through my door was professional & polite, and there were many- Brayden, Kasai, Eduar, Taylor, Jason, Gabriel, Tanya, Calen, Kyle, Craig & Scott, they all are a credit to your company. Thank you again for the work you did to help us through a difficult time.

I just want to say restoration one is one of the best outfits I've worked with I've worked with a few in Sandpoint area and outside. As I do remodels and some reconstruction. Jordan and Ron have come to Athol to a house I've been working on but ran into some issues. The company and these two are extremely thorough any evaluating assessing giving options along with working with insurance companies to resolve matters that need to be handled. They are polite and courteous and do not hold back information they give you what you need to know so you can move forward or not. In my experience these two Jordan and Ron along with restoration one is the company that I would suggest if you have any problems that need to be addressed that you cannot handle on your own. Thank you restoration 1, and kudos to you Jordan and Ron for being attentive. Explaining things thoroughly to your customers make good decisions financially proper repair You guys are the best a great team and restoration one inland should be thankful to have you on their team. They are a huge asset!!!!

We had a unique issue of birds in our microwave vent that had fallen all the way through and ended up behind the microwave. It quickly turned into a biohazard with the most awful smell.
Josh, Jordan, and Jason were so professional and so incredibly helpful in a situation where no one knew what to do.
Jordan came out promptly and assessed the situation and all of them gave me feedback that helped the builder work within our home warranty to just have the entire vent removed.

The team looked out for us financially and were upfront and honest about what needed to be done. They truly had our best interest at heart and they were very kind and amazing to work with.

I can’t thank the team enough for their recommendation. I’m happy to say that today the vent was finally replaced by HVAC and our home is on its way to being back in order.

Restoration 1 has been absolutely amazing throughout the process of restoring our basement after a main line flood!

From the very beginning, our Project Manager Tanya has been incredibly gracious—working around our schedule and keeping us informed about each step so we could plan ahead with confidence.

The Contents Team—Carina, Matt, Zach, Tim, Hannah, Vicky, Manos, and Jesse—were absolute rockstars. What was originally planned as a 3-day job to clear out damaged items was finished in just 2 days, and they did it during some of the hottest days of the summer!

I’ve been so impressed by the professionalism, communication, and sheer work ethic of this entire team. I'm beyond grateful to have had Restoration 1 taking care of our home during such a stressful time.

Restoration 1 Inland NW was amazing on our flooded kitchen/basement! From the first moment they were attentive and very quick to act. Our initial contact, Ron, was pleasant and assuring and showed up only an hour after we called! Mark, our project manager, answered all our questions and eased us through what could have been an even more stressful experience. Our technicians (Carson, Graham, Jacob S, Haiden, Chris, and Denzel) were very courteous and prompt. The first group showing up past dinner time to get our dry-out started as quickly as possible. Very, very pleased all around and would recommended Restoration 1 to anyone in the unfortunate need of their services!!

Josh was recommended to us to evaluate an area under our trailer for possible water leak damage. He checked everything out and explained that there was only staining from a past problem and no damage had been done. Josh was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would call him again for any problems or questions.

Project manager Michael was truly exceptional and appreciated. From the middle of the night flood response , to the voluntary communication with the other trades, and how he navigated a tricky situation with us in general, he gave us comfort and confidence things were being handled correctly.

I’ve had the unfortunate experience of needing water restoration services previously a few years ago, and did not have nearly the positive experience I had this time with Restoration 1.

I am a realtor in town and have clients who often reach out to me for recommendations for different trades. Restoration 1 will 100% be on my list!

I had a house fire. State farm agent told me to call them. They came within 30 minutes. I agreed to have them do the work. Most of the employees were very kind, diligent and performed above average packing of my content. My content was returned after 21 months . Some of the content came back with soot on it. Some content with batteries came back marked as clean with the batteries still in place with leakage destroying the product. In all reality that product should have been marked as nonsalvaged as it is unlikely they could clean all the tiny nooks and cracks of soot. There were too many items for me to ignore so I decided to put in a review. They are amazing at interpersonal communication. The China cabinet came back with soot showing where the dishes had been. I cleaned it so I could unpack my boxes and tell the the total of what needed to be cleaned. They wiped things with a cloth and I signed off on the contract. However later I have found some of the items they wiped are still soot laden or have yellow droplets. 21 months is a long time for toxins to infuse into content. It embeds and will not come out. I am considering having them tested. They also ruined my shoes and put a water soluble black marker on them. They have mottled white appearance and I tried wiping it off thinking it was soap residue and it wasn't. The shoes didn't even have visible soot on them when they were removed from my home.

Jake and Red were so qualified and treated my property like their own. Extra effort to make my house as functional as possible with 5 fans blowing at top speed. I really appreciate them moving my TV around so I could watch it.

Mark sent out Magan and Chezly to box up shelves of books as part of the mitigation. The ladies were so professional, sweet and cheerful as can be, helpful, thorough and so fast. They put a smile on my face during a very stressful time. Thank you.

I contacted Restoration 1 Because I suddently had 3" of water in my crawlspace. Ron Brooks was here that same morning to access the problem and give me an estimate, whtch was very reasonable and I agreed with it. They had 2 men here that afternoon to remove all the water and install heaters, fans and dehumidifyers in the crawlspace! They also recommended a reliable plumber to install sump pumps to prevent furture accummulation and then install a new moisture barrier.
I cannot recommend this organization highly enough! Every time they were here they explained what they did and why they did it! They also called to ask if it was ok come at that time. Everyone was extremely respectful of my property and very clean. You can't go wrong with this organization.

Picture it: midnight. Your teenager wakes you up yelling—the basement is flooding! It turns out the county’s sewage storage tanks had filled, and the overflow was being forced back into homes in my neighborhood. My entire lower level was hit.

I spotted a plumber’s truck outside and rushed into the dark to ask for help. He handed me a card for Restoration 1 and told me to call. Project Manager Mark Estrada had the privilege of answering my frantic call. Within 35 minutes, he was at my home, and shortly after, the extraction team arrived. They worked tirelessly until at least 5 a.m., pumping out sewage and tearing out carpet.

The following days and weeks were filled with content removal, demolition, testing, and a whirlwind of chaos. But through it all, the Restoration 1 team was professional, responsive, and always quick with updates. In addition to Mark, I want to thank Jacob S, Haiden, Adam, Brendan G, Taki, and Jacob D for their dedication and hard work. The content packing and handling crew were just as wonderful—keeping me informed every step of the way and making sure I knew what to expect next.

I am deeply grateful to the entire team for helping me through such a stressful situation with professionalism and care.

Justus, Alexis, Rayn, Cy, Fernando, Justin and Andrew are Christmas angels that saved our home, health, and peace of mind! Our master bath backed up while we were away, and our mess was unsafe, unsanitary, and devastating to us. Their kindness, professionalism and IMMEDIATE response saved Christmas.
