I found myself trying to navigate a massive water damage claim with no knowledge of how to proceed.Had I not had Art in my corner I don’t know how this would have turned out. It was a long hard fight but having someone who knew what needed to be done and willing to fight with me made it so it was all corrected and our home was made whole. After a major tree strike on our house, Art and his team quickly responded and got the work done to a high standard of quality. He worked with us and our budget and offered different solutions to get the job done right.

First and foremost, why 5 stars? The simple, short answer…. Because I simply couldn’t give anymore! 100/100 would recommend!!!!

My Family and I lost our kitchen at the end of April (2021) due to a water leak. If you’re reading this review, it may be safe to assume you may be experiencing something similar. I promise you, you’re choosing the right folks with Precision Services!

After I cleaned up the water, the extent of the damage didn’t appear major. I had laminate wood flooring (lock and click) that I could see buckling directly in front of my sink area. I was concerned with the chance of mold developing so I decide to initiate an insurance claim (State Farm) and have a water mitigation company come out to my residence to do a deeper “clean-up”. In the process of their cleaning, the damages discovered were more extensive than what appeared on the surface and they had to remove a majority of my kitchen (lower cabinets, sink, counter tops, drywall, etc…) to reach the level of mitigation to ensure everything was dried properly. At this point I realized, it not going to be a quick fix and that we would require some significant work to get our “home back”.

The water mitigation company (restoration one) recommended Precision Services and the rest is history!

The communication with Art (Precision Services’ owner) and his team has been nothing short of amazing since day 1. Art visited my home and spent a 1-2 hours measuring, documenting, sketching, and photographing the damages and other areas of my home. After a few days he got back to me with an extremely extensive and detailed estimate to provide to my insurance company. I’m not going to lie, I was completely dumbfounded by Art’s finding and thought there was absolutely no way a small leak caused that much damage ($ estimate). I thought it was a complete over reach and thought there is no way!

Well, I was wrong! After submitting the estimate to my insurance, they came back with a offer that was $40K less than Art’s estimate. Art reviewing every line and every item from my insurance’ estimate, he highlighted multiple discrepancies. I rejected the offer (I know, this can be a difficult decision) and requested a virtual tour with my claims adjuster and Art. Just from that 10 minute FaceTime call, Art was able to get them to increase their offer $20K

Once we had everything figured out with the insurance and the scope of work to be complete, Art and his team (Vitaliy, Roman, Alex and few more) began my project. This was about 1-2 months after lost of my kitchen because of the process with the insurance company, Precision Services’ workload, and securing required materials.

Once the project began, Art and his team were beyond accepting to my family situation and worked around our needs. My wife and I have two kids and 5 pets (don’t recommend lol) in our home and we stayed for the entire project. From start to finish this team was awesome! They’re neat, clean, professional, personable and all around great people. The work they accomplished is as good as it gets!

It is absolutely insane and ridiculous the amount of work we had accomplished because of a small leak. A all new, updated kitchen (cabinets, granite, island, etc.), flooring, laundry room (beneath kitchen), bathroom, paint, etc. I legitimately got a complete home remodel.

Special Note, if you’re like me and married, your Wife will probably have a wish list that they would like to be accomplished in situations like this and I can attest that Art met every single “what if” you did this or that for us! They did so much extra work for us.

Even with all the extra stuff, we didn’t have to pay a single penny out of pocket. If we covered the cost of some material Art subtracted the amount from our tab.

Just understand you won’t be the only Job that Art has and the whole process can be held up with your insurance and mortgage providers but when’s it’s all finished you’ll be glad you chose this company.

We have hired Safeway twice, once to replace our flooring for an update and again to save us from subpar contractors (we regret hiring) after our basement flooded.

Safeway Restoration is easily one of the most knowledgeable restoration outfits in the area, if not the best. Integrity is the word that comes to mind.

Art and his crew are obsessively detail-oriented. They're the brain surgeons of home restoration and appear to be highly trained not only in construction and requisite engineering knowledge but also in the building and health codes. They will hold subcontractors and others involved to a professional and dignified standard. I felt my home and the work were protected by Safeway's expertise. There are no cut corners and you can expect a high ROI-- skip cheaper bids as they'll only be indicative of shotty work.

After a water leak in our kitchen and basement, Art and his team were lifesavers! He helped us navigate our insurance claim and went above and beyond to make sure we recieved what we were entitled to. Art was on time, responsive, and professional. His team was neat and precise in their work. Vitaly did a great job communicating throughout the project. I highly recommend Precision Services!
