Constraction reviews in Spokane, Washington

They are Awesome. They worked with my insurance, and had my back. My house, my home, is even better than before. They are pros, n really good people.

It was a pleasure to have Josh and his team of Dylan & Russell in our home to help us with the water damage in a basement bedroom due to a cracked water pipe. Not only was their work done in a timely manner with excellent quality and precision but they were careful to keep the workspace clean at the end of each day. Josh is an excellent communicator and such a polite and professional young man. He informed us of the progress everyday in a clear manner that even a novice like me could understand. His phase of the work is complete and I am 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend Josh and his team from Compass Construction.

First rate company! We needed to repair a broken rafter, and due to the age of the home, strengthen the other rafters in our attic, and was recommended by a roofing company to call Compass. With the upcoming snow season, we wanted to have this done promptly, and Dave came out immediately and gave us a good estimate and explanation of what was needed. Mike was the project manager for the work and sent a crew out the following Monday, which worked great for us, and made sure we were happy with the work when it was completed. Chris and Rodolfo did the work professionally and with great care for our house. And Angela and Diana in the office were so helpful in getting our paperwork completed. Great team all around, and will definitely contact Compass for any future work!

I contacted Fred Anderson on a Sunday afternoon and he was at our house within 30 minutes with the necessary equipment and expertise to handle a flooding issue in our basement. He worked alongside my family as we moved heavy items from the impact area and worked with us to pull back the carpet and remove and dispose of the wet padding. He set up the ventilation units and the evaporator and brought ease to our family. We couldn't be more grateful for his excellent service and would recommend Fred and Compass Construction for any restoration issue.

After years of helping others through flood disasters, I had one myself-- a malfunctioning hot water heater soaked the floors and partial walls of a house I own, requiring major tear apart, mold mitigation and rebuilding. Fortunately, rather than mess with it myself I immediately called in these experts. Not only did they do superb work in several trades. they also documented it and negotiated with my insurance in such business-like detail rhat, in contrast to so many insurance horror stories I've seen in diaster wotk, everything was cheerfully reimbursed in a timely fashion, including loss of use costs. The key is the detailed before and after documentation, understanding insurance language. and getting superb work from the Compass office staff. Be warned that such things always take longer than expected, That is the nature of it, but it's worth it to do it right and in the long run less expensive. I worked wit Brett and Andrew, and highly recommend them. These people enjoy their work and know what they're doing.

Called for an estimate after a tree fell on my house. I was told “if you’re getting multiple bids we aren’t interested…” not going to be using or calling them for anything. Highly suggest you don’t either, they’re clearly looking to collect $ and not take care of their customer.

This place has a horrible sense of communication and love to take their sweet time doing a mediocre job. They left our basement extremely dirty and left all of their trash downstairs. Never should have called these people.

Great people ! Shout out to Dave and Tyler ! 4 layers of roof removed and replaced within 1 week ! Turned out beautiful !

I can highly recommend the people at Compass Construction for remodeling projects. They just completed a master bathroom remodel for us and their work was impeccable. From the cleanliness of the demolition through completion of the work, the master craftsmen at Compass were meticulous. I would especially like to commend Stuart, Stephen, Corey, and Alec for their attention to detail and their professionalism. A big THANK YOU to everyone involved! Don and Joan

I want to thank the team at Compass Construction for doing an awesome job on my kitchen. I was dealing with a very stressful loss in my life and their kindness, professionalism and consideration was greatly appreciated. Also, the quality of their work was stellar! My kitchen looks beautiful! They really made a difficult time better. Thank you so much, Compass, for all you did and for my lovely new kitchen! I would definitely hire you guys again!

We’d like to give a big shout-out to the Compass Construction team - especially Russel Evans, Adrian Barnes, Matt Sunner, and PM Andrew Nelson - for the incredible work they did on our home remodel, specifically the doors and trim package they installed. The craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stand out, and we couldn’t be happier with the final results. Thanks again, guys - we genuinely appreciate your talent and dedication!

Compass construction did a great job. Travis would always listen and address any concerns we had. Chris went above and beyond on our cabinets, making sure they were done correctly,

I’ve used Compass Construction for several projects and they always do a great job. The work turns out great, everyone I’ve worked with has been friendly and easy to deal with, and they’re quick to get back to me. If something comes up, they always make it right. I’ve also had multiple customers and family go through them.

I’ve had a long history working with Bret B., an appraiser there, he’s sharp, friendly, and just an all around great guy. Both owners, Fred and Steve, have made a point to personally visit a couple of projects, which means a lot. The front office staff is always super friendly, their marketing rep Sandra goes above and beyond, and Chris M., one of their carpenters, does phenomenal work it’s a huge bonus when he’s on a job. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I were involved in a forest fire in 2023 that compromised our home. Today we are back in a beautiful remodel of our entire home. Our first contact was Carson and he wanted to put us w/ a particular PM due to our circumstances knowing what we had already been through with a different contractor. That man was Marshall Lafave and what a great match! I can't tell you enough how much we appreciate him and how he helped us get through the last 6 months specifically. His communication is top notch and he really helped us as we navigated through it all as we were at the time living over 5 hours away while our home got redone. He would send pictures to us as each room was getting done, throughout the entire process, so we could see each stage. He became our friend and we adore him. Once back in the house we still had a few minor things needed to be done. From Gabe who we met installing new toilets, to Luke and David doing our new secondary bathtub, to William and Carston helping us remove all our old compromised belongings to take to the dump. Every single interaction 5 ⭐ One of the biggest things I want to say is that they actually treat you like a human being, not just a number. Customer service is a lost art these days and they do such a great job at it. We will FOREVER be grateful we had Marshall and Compass as our Contractors to redo our home.

Highly recommend this business!
