Johnson Brothers painted the interior of my condo, ceilings, walls, trim, closets. First they responded quickly to my request for a quote. The quote was reasonable and came quickly. Zach clearly knew his business and asked appropriate questions and made suggestions.

The condo is not new but looks so clean. The painters came and worked until the job was done.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the work, and gladly give them a high rating.

Zach, Austin, and Cody did a fantastic, detailed job. I just purchased a 1951 home, and it needed a lot of work. I'd taken out permanently affixed shelving units that were almost the complete length of the living room and a lot of scraping, sanding, and patching needed to be done. The home had many layers of paint on the windowsills, and trim around the doors and floor. Many pieces were damaged in places. The doors throughout the home were much the same. I had two outside doors that had been painted purple inside and out. Long story short, there were many imperfections throughout the home.

Johnson Brother's Painting is a relatively young business with a young owner and employees but don't let this hold you back or fool you. I found them to be knowledgeable, experienced, have great work ethic, showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day, detail oriented, and took pride in a job well done.

There were things that I didn't think about ahead of time, like possibly replacing the worn-out thermostat that was barely hanging on the wall. Zach pointed out that if he painted around the old one that there would be a mess if or when I needed to install a new one. Easy inexpensive fix.

Zach the owner continually throughout the project and room by room asked to make sure that I was happy with the job done. I had a cleaning business for many years and am very detail oriented. If I pointed out something Zach was more than willing to add more paint or whatever was needed and welcomed my constructive criticism. He genuinely wanted to make sure that I was happy with the whole project when completed. I am not easy to please, but I couldn't be happier with the completed project.

I wholeheartedly recommend Johnson Brother's Painting should you need interior or exterior painting. I am strongly considering painting the outside of my home and garage and will be contacting Johnson's Brothers Painting for that as well.

By some force of wonderful luck I found a suitable home in a nice neighborhood to purchase this year and a recommendation for (my requested requirement i asked my experienced buying agent) "the most honest and efficient painters in town". With that recommendation I called up Johnson Brothers Painting and they had the time to take on my exterior painting project after completing their present project. It was still early Spring and we had to be careful about the forecast but not only had they made, with ease, the price estimate and supported me with color choices and all conversations between first meeting and appointment date to begin.. they were very reliable with keeping up with our conversations and answering my concerns before date of painting.
The day of painting it was a friendly meet up again. All of their equipment & the purchased paints they picked up on their own (that i chose) came out with them for all the exterior and trim of my house. Work begun immediately on arrival and after taping off various areas for the trim they began painting my little one level home within about 90 minutes of arriving. I checked back on things periodically while hanging out with my dogs in the neighborhood and I was so impressed with how dedicated, earnest and hard-working the 2 fellows working on the paint job were. The skill level and focus in transitioning from obstacle to obstacle in my funny shaped home with all kinds of trim was more than impressive. Their technique also was something I hadn't seen before and resulted in such a flawless facade and clean lines in the transition of changing colors that it gives a perspective of a home created with perfectly blended color transitions "baked on" in the manufacturing of the home. I mean it really looks like the exterior construction of the home was created with those colors already in place. There's no bumps or any areas that appear obvious that paint has gone on top of other paint. The overall look around the home is of smooth and even texture to such a high level of standard that's quite impressive to the neighbors and several came around to ask who I used. And this project only took 2 days for my particular sized home (approx 1300 sq ft & garage with trim).
I could only imagine using Johnson brothers again when I have my next painting project. I wouldnt even want to try to match their skill level and efficiency by test other painters.
Thanks to Zack for a beautifully coordinated effort & the cool method he employs in his painting !!!

I began calling around to different paint companies trying to get advice and tips from professional painters, as I have chosen to paint my house myself. Zach with Johnson Brothers Painting graciously took the time to answer all my questions, and made suggestions for what primer and paint to use, suggestions that I have no doubt helped my project come out so much better than it would have without his knowledge.
It is becoming more rare today to find professionals willing to take the time to help out do-it-yourselfers, when they know there is nothing in it for them. Not so with Zach. He even returned one of my calls after hours to answer questions.
Although I did not use Johnson Brothers to paint my house, it is clear that Zach is a professional who knows his stuff and has a passion for helping people end up with a successfully painted house, even if he isn't the one doing the painting. If I ever decide to go with a professional painter in the future, my experience with Johnson Brothers Painting has put them at the very top of my list.
    Thank you Zach!

We contacted Zach Johnson of Johnson Brothers painting to paint the exterior of our home. We were beyond pleased. They were on time, did an excellant job, gave suggestions we would not of come up with, but used and they turned out marvelous. They also put up new lights, house numbers, and a
Mailbox at no expense to us.

The house looks like new. We have had neighbors give us compliments galore. I would most definitely recommend them to family, friends and neighbors with no hesitation whatsoever.

I got referred to Zach by a co-worker who was very satisfied, I called Zach and he set up a Saturday for him and Austin to come out and talk about painting my house. They both were knowledgeable, had good ideas, and suggestions that I either didn't know or I had overlooked. Zach then sent me a quote that night and they were considerably lower than other bids.
They were available right away, got started the following Monday and blew all the work out in just 3 days, and did a superb job!! I figured it would be a week at least to do all the work, as they also grouted & painted the porch and painted 5 man doors, and this house is equivalent to 2 houses in size.
As well Zach had the idea if we wanted to replace the mailbox, porch light, garage lights, etc., now was the time. And they installed those things and new locks in every door free of charge.
Overall I would not hesitate to hire again or refer to anyone, as they were fast, efficient, punctual, cleaned up very nicely. It turned out Awesome!!

    Thanks guys,
    Justin

Zach came referred to me by another painter who was too busy to provide us the work we needed. I am delighted for this referral. Zach went beyond our expectations. The staining and sealing of our cedar fence was spectacular. It made the curb appeal of our home look 'rich'! What really impressed me was Zach attention to detail, checking with me every step of the way to make sure he was delivering exactly what we wanted. And to top it off, when he was finished with all his work, he actually asked 'what could he have done better'. WOW! He is now our lifelong painter for any future projects.

We contacted Zach Johnson when we needed our house painted. We had a very tight timeline and he was able to fit us into his busy schedule the same day. He was very professional and clean. The house looks great. The price can't be beat. I highly recommend Johnson Brothers Painting for any job.

Zach did an amazing job on a very weathered 75 year old house. He did extensive prep work and had a true desire to make our house look amazing which really showed in the finished product. We're super happy.

Zach did an amazing job on my exterior house paint! He also installed all new exterior lights in my house for free. He was always on time and cleaned up when he was done. He was great about checking in on progress and made sure that I was happy with everything he was done. For sure will be using him for any other house projects in the future. Thank you!

High recommendations for Brent and BcWoodWorks! Brent is very experienced, detailed orientated, honest and timely. I would recommend his services.

Brent does great quality work! Kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, cabinets, flooring, framing, custom carpentry, and more. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

    5

Brent has a natural ability to see how things should be done correctly!! He has a great storage of knowledge about many various facets of construction, electrical work Plumbing and general contracting! He discovered faulty wiring in the house plugs of my daughter! Because he was correcting one part of the outlets and found them faulty. This led him to check all the outlets which also were found to be faulty! By checking and correcting the other outlets he saved the house from perhaps Catching Fire! Very grateful for his perception and diligence in making sure all was safe!

Brent did a great job helping us with a large basement renovation! He efficiently demoed the job (including removing sagging ceilings), helped us with a new plan for improved lighting, installed the new ceilings while improving our plumbing and electrical routing, built beautiful custom cabinetry, painted, and installed new flooring among many other pieces of the job! Brent cares about the quality of the work, and proactively made suggestions or tweaks to the plan that made a really beautiful final result. Best of all, he was communicative and easy to work with. I have already recommended BC Woodworks to several friends!

If you’re looking for a contractor who treats your home insurance claim like a ten-year retirement hobby, Bob is your man. At 71, he isn't just 'old school'—he’s operating on a schedule dictated by the Gunsmoke rerun lineup.

Hiring Rescue Restoration isn't a renovation; it’s a lifestyle change. Expect him to be there so long you’ll basically have a new grandfather who never leaves. He’s a decent mechanic, but his carpentry operates on a geological timescale. He’ll take weeks to pull up a scrap of carpet, then spend three days obsessively folding the old plastic wrap and re-bagging the trash like it’s a family heirloom. I’ve seen more urgency from a turtle in a school zone.

Beyond the glacial pace, the 'inspections' are a joke. I watched him miss glaring mold and airflow issues at an apartment on the South Hill because he couldn't be bothered to check if the bathroom fans were actually pulling air. When the owners called him out on it, he got defensive. Apparently, making sure a 50 CFM fan works is too much to ask when you’re busy spending four days painting a single basement lid.

He recently did a job for a local judge that went so sideways it’s a miracle he isn't in a deposition, but he probably wouldn’t make it to the courthouse until the next decade anyway. If you want to actually live in your house again this century—and you want it to be mold-free—find someone who doesn't treat a ten-minute task like a multi-generational archaeological dig.

    UPDATE (Response to Owner):

Bob, calling this 'lies' while you’re currently in your third week of re-bagging trash is a bold move. The only 'standard' I couldn't meet was watching a contractor struggle to identify a primary load-bearing member on a job site.

I didn't 'quit'; I performed an emergency exit from a situation that has clearly become a geriatric decline. You talk about 'standards,' but I watched you stare at a structural framing plan like it was written in code—completely unable to identify where the point loads and bearing headers were specified. When a subcontractor has to explain load path continuity to the GC because they can’t decipher a basic architectural schedule, it isn’t an employment issue—it’s a public safety issue.

I’m sorry I couldn't meet the 'standard' of watching you obsessively fold plastic wrap while the project moved at a geological pace. You are a liability to the structural integrity of your clients' homes. Good luck with the South Hill job; maybe try turning the fans on this time to see if they move air, though at this point, I’m not sure you’d even recognize a mechanical specification if it was handed to you.

while it's been a bit since Rescue Restoration literally rescued us, I'm finally getting around to singing their praises.

we came home to our laundry room flooding. we quickly called RR (the one place our friends kept pointing us to for an emergency like this) and thankfully they were able to send someone within hours to help us figure out what happened. it was a relatively easy fix (washer was leaking due to old connections), but it still made a mess.

Bob and his assistant got everything cleaned up, demo'ed the flooring and made sure things were set up for drying. in the next couple of days, we had steady communication with Robin to figure out next steps. we didn't end up involving insurance, but Robin was ready to get them included for us if need be.

in the end, the value of our experience far exceeded the bill. the attention to detail, the expediency with which they were on site and the sheer volume of knowledge Bob, Robin & their team have in their little finger created an environment of calm and competency.

if you find your home in need of being rescued, I could not encourage you more to reach out to Rescue Restoration!

These guys are the best at what they do. Their attention to detail and promptness in dealing with emergency situations is second to none. When it comes to rebuilding damaged area, they have a strong knowledge of building systems from framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation, air sealing, and mold remediation. I would highly recommend this locally owned company for any work needed to be done on anyones home or business.
