We had them do sprinkler work last year. Had problems with dry spots and low pressure the rest of the year. Had them out a couple of times complaining abour the water coverage and they assured us all was well and we just had low pressure. Have a new sprinkler repair this year and Marcos workers had left some valves not working and spliced lines unnecessarily. Would never hie Marcos again. I would give them a 0 if I could.

Marko's sprinklers performed very professionally. The office staff scheduled our appointments quickly and showed concern. Our repair needs were extensive, but the cordial technician demonstrated expertise as he got us running and tuned up better than ever before in short order. I can't imagine calling anyone else when my irrigation system is in need.

I have been using Markos sprinklers for years and they alway do a phenomenal Job! They helped me with a sprinkler rehab last and we’re efficient, friendly, and the sprinkler system is in perfectly working order! Plus the price was great! I recommend them to everyone! Great company!
-
They have always been dependable, courteous and respectful. They not only installed the sprinkler system 30 years ago, but have maintained it ever since.
-
Highly recommend markos! They are hands down one of the easiest sprinkler companies I have ever dealt with! They take into consideration of my schedule when getting me on the schedule for my sprinkler needs from turn on, blow outs, or any sprinkler repairs that I might need. Everyone I have dealt with on the team is professional, courteous, and honest. I send everyone I know to markos!

We called Marko’s to come out and fix a leak on our sprinkler system and here’s how the entire experience went…
We started off assuming the leak we had was coming from upstream of the double check valve at the elbow on the first visit because that’s where water sprayed out the ground from. We were told to schedule another appointment for that to be addressed so we did. On the 2nd appointment they pulled the dirt up from that area and resealed it. Problem fixed? Nope.
With more investigation from the technician on the 2nd visit the line was to be found leaking at the double check valve downstream from where the assumed leak was happening. Was that valve fixed on the 2nd appointment? Nope. Because said technician stated his boss was the only one certified to fix that valve and they would need to come out again to take care of that valve.
We scheduled for them to come out a 3rd time on a friday, friday comes and they’re a no show and nobody is answering phones that day. We give it a day and call them multiple times until someone answers and says they will have somebody out the following monday.
Monday comes around and the person who shows up is apparently newer and needs a more senior technician to show up and do the valve repair. (we get charged for the hour the first guy sits and waits for the senior technician to drive from the valley to airway heights also being told it would not be included on our bill).
So the 2nd guy shows up and completes the repair and all is good and well. I’m not going to knock their work as of now because the repair seems to be holding up so in my personal experience that actual repair seems to be sufficient at this point.
My issue was the billing…
We were charged $399 for a double check valve that from what my research determines actually costs $260 after tax at local home depot and lowes stores. There was also another part that was billed at I believe $36 that according to the technician only costs about $10. I truly hope asking for a tip during the process of paying the invoice is a joke because i surely thought it was hilarious after finding out the parts needed for repair cost nearly half of what was charged. In my opinion you guys got a $160 tip by overcharging for parts.
I checked my camera footage that covers all angles of the house outside and did not add up 5 hours worth of actual labor time from said footage, yet I was billed for 5 hours of time.
Long story short, I will not be using Marko’s again as I would prefer a simple repair like this not to cost me $1142. I would also suggest you not use them unless you prefer to have technicians you pay $120/hour for tell you they aren’t certified to do this, that, and the other, insisting on returning another day to complete a job.
I believe between the appointments it took roughly 2 weeks to see a finished repair. -
This week Don came out to blow out my sprinkler system. He did a great job just like last year. Marko's kept me well informed when he was scheduled to arrive.

Josh Everard was an excellent tech that blew out our sprinkler system. Marko's always keeps appointments and takes care of the customer. Thanks guys!!
Call and get your name on the list early so they can schedule you. -
Very good customer service.
I am a first time customer and they were very polite and professional. The service tech Don was knowledgeable about my system and very helpful.
Will be using them in the future. -
Don S was very professional, turned off our water, as we are a new owner. He then blew out all stations and said he could come back in the spring to make sure everything is on excellent working order.

The technician who came out to blow out our sprinklers was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Living in a new house he showed me where the outside water turn off was and made sure every sprinkler head was flushed completely out. Would definitely recommend.

Initial call was for winterizing the irrigation. We've found our irrigation company! Scheduling with Donese was such a pleasure. Josh came out and got the job DONE! Josh has the experience and knowledge, knows the neighborhoods and it's quirks. We had another company come out before Marko's and they couldn't find the shut off, which had me in a panic. Josh came in and knew exactly where to look and was done quickly. Definitely give them a call for your irrigation needs!

Michael was on time, he evaluated if any broken pipes were detected when the blowout occurred. There was a possibility, which we will have checked out when we turn them back on in the Spring of 2025. We highly recommend Marko's!

Desperate for a new company to winterize my sprinkler system, after the previous company downsized and left us, Marko's was happy to add us to their list of new customers and provided timely, outstanding and thorough service! Michael showed up first thing in the morning on the scheduled day and worked his tail off to complete the job on my extensive system. He patiently went above and beyond to communicate with me via text and phone over the course of two days to be completely sure he had completed the job to meet my expectations.
Thank you Michael and Marko's!
I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for sprinkler system maintenance with professional service!

When Steve Marko and his brother owned and ran this company, it was top-notch old school service. Before Steve sold the business, his son (the install manager) and his service guys did a lousy, fast job and left me hanging with a botched new install with many subsequent problems. I am a mechanic and I noticed the deficiencies as they were doing the install. I complained to Steve but his hands were somewhat tied. His employees simply did not care about the work that they were doing - maybe because they knew it was going to be sold ? All his son cared about was doing a hit-and-run job and getting off of one job, and on to the next job. After Steve sold the business a few years ago, it continued to go into the toilet. I called and left three messages at the office of the new owner about getting some help/warranty work done and they never returned my call. They avoided me because they didn't want to cover the warranty that Steve Marko would have gladly upheld. A few weeks ago, I experienced a failure that I predicted would occur because of improper design and placement ( lack of bottom support so the boxes shifted and broke the piping ) of the manifolds and manifold boxes. It was difficult to field repair without digging up the downstream black poly piping, which would have cost ~ thousand dollars. This is because the connections made inside of the manifold boxes allowed no room/made no provision for a field repair. It was repaired correctly without spending a thousand dollars, but it still cost a lot of money and should have not been required for a new install that's only a few years old. Several knowledgeable people told me that the design and install was botched. Potential buyers beware !

Josh showed up early, but called me to make sure that was OK. He shut off the water for me, checked the controller to make sure it was off, and then blew out my lines. He checked to make sure that everything was properly drained
Josh was polite and professional, and explained why he was early to my satisfaction. Well done. -
Jeff was an excellent technician during our first sprinkler blowout since moving to Spokane. He was cordial and patient while helping us find the turn-off valve. Highly recommend!
-
They have been very pleasant to work with. Very good initial communication and follow up communication. The technician was right on time. I will continue to use Marlo’s sprinklers and would replace them to others!
-
Our technician was Jeff James technician’s and he was awesome and efficient. He was very kind introduced his self and shock my hand. I apologize for being late. I am thankful for the wonderful service and he deserves the tip. Thank you

Did not complete the job, billed over $1700 dollars for nothing. Scheduled months out even when they knew we were on deadline. Made a complaint and was told the job would be complete then no follow up. Very disappointing to pay top dollar for low quality work.

Had our sprinkler blown out today by Don @ Mako's Sprinklers. Don took the time to do the job right and then even double checked his work. When finished he asked us if we had any questions or concerns. Very professional and courteous. We love this company and highly recommend them.
