Poor install work. Furnace just failed yesterday. Heat exchanger has cracked due to a poorly installed furnace. Don't recommend this company.

It's not everyday someone asks about HVAC contractors but complete heating has been great. We have a mini split heat pump and id recommend them.

Fantastic company and service. Dan and Leasa make customer service a priority. The technician came out to clear a line and my furnace was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Very courteous.

This company installed my air conditioning unit 3 years ago without a permit. I recently found out that a permit is needed in Spokane for AC so I checked with the city and learned that no permit had been pulled. So I called the company to ask why not. They told me that they assumed I would be pulling the permit myself, as some homeowners choose to do that. I knew this wasn't true because I've had lots of work done on my home and the provider always pulls the permits and schedules the inspections.

The company told me I would need to pay extra for the permit, which I did. The unit did not pass inspection plus the inspector said an electrical permit was also required. After many phone calls with the company, they finally had someone correct the deficiencies on the AC unit. They also scheduled an electrician to come to my house and check the electrical before it was inspected. The electrician had to make some repairs on the original installation, and the inspector then passed the unit.

THEN, the company sent me a bill for $115 for the electrical permit! I checked with the city and the permit was only $40. The company tried to charge me for correcting work they had performed incorrectly during the original installation.

I rate this company as highly unprofessional and unethical and would NOT recommend them to anyone for any kind of work.

Took forever to finish their job, therefore we didnt pay the final price. Also we had a agreement that they would stretch heating and air into my new addition, but 30 minutes before the appointment Dan canceled saying that i didnt pay them on time. He wasted my time.(We payed after they fully finished their job). Horrible sevice, would not recommended to anyone.

Currently in the process of some diy work in a home out of town and was needing something fairly quickly.
Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with helping me figure out what I needed and was able to get the parts on the same day.

My experience with Complete Heating has been fabulous. Very helpful technician (Chris) that installed gas appliances and heat pump and has assisted multiple times since installation. Scheduling and customer service has been excellent.

I have done business with different HVAC companies in three different states, and this has been the best so far. I love the fact that if I email a question to them as far as schedule or materials, I get a lighting fast response. Comparatively speaking, they also offer the best value.

Fantastic service. They replaced our heat pump and furnace. The techs were on time, professional, did a clean and sanitary install, explained the new system and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend Complete Heat for your heating and air needs.

Brand new house that’s a year old, with everything new. The furnace was improperly installed and as a result failed resulting in no heat. When explained the situation Complete heating won’t admit their faulty installation because another company did the repair and diagnosis. The installer from Complete heating did not put in a drip loop so that water expelled would not reenter the unit.

A company should welcome a third party diagnosis. If they refuse clearly they’re shady. Do not trust this company.

My thermostat quit working last night. I called Dan Glover(owner of complete heating and cooling) first thing in the morning to get it fixed. I was so impressed with our phone conversation, he was quick to help out and to sent out his technician to fix the problem .
He displayed ,along with his employees, excellent customer care services …
very professional, Dan took the time to call me back and explain the issue and repair …
    Thank you

I am writing this review to let you know that Complete heating knows nothing about in floor radiant heat. I recently had my retirement home built in Newport. My contractor hired Complete Heating to install the boiler, radiant plumbing, and controls. They installed the wrong boiler. Then they plumbed the whole place as 1 zone. Anybody that knows anything about radiant heat knows you need multiple zones. When they finally got the 4 zones hooked up the plumbing was not plumbed to the proper zones. When they were done the system did not work! My contractor hired another local Radiant heating expert to come out and fix my system. They removed most of the valves and controls and started over. Please do your homework when installing in floor radiant heat. It cost way too much to get installed twice!

Complete Heating was HVAC contractor on our house built new in 2016-17.

    The gas fireplace didn’t work
    1. When Complete heating was told that gas fireplace wasn’t working right, we were told by one of their employees that they didn’t install that brand of FP
    2. A certified dealer for the brand of FP was then contracted to check the system
    a. FP not converted propane correctly
    b. FP exhaust vent not finished & was venting into attic
    3. The contractor who built the house tried to make us pay the costs of fixing the mistakes that Complete heating made because Complete Heating wouldn’t reimburse him the cost of repairs by the certified dealer
    4. Complete Heating installation of the FP voided the FP factory warranty
    5. By having the certified dealer re-install the gas FP, the dealer was able to get the FP factory warranty restored

    HVAC
    1. The thermostat for master bedroom was placed in a zone that would heat up & turn off heat to master bedroom zone before temperature could go above 58 degrees. Simple fix, but it took more than 3 weeks to get a tech out to move the thermostat to the master bedroom so it would warm up to 72 degrees.
    2. The heat pump from the day it was install made such a loud, rattling noise that is was strong enough to shake cabinets in the room adjacent to the outside heat pump. Complete Heating’s HVAC person told us that it was normal because they couldn’t “top off” the heat pump “refrigerant” during winter & would have to wait until spring. We called early spring but it took until until early summer to get the service appointment. After refrigerant topped off, the heat pump was still 5 times louder than any heat pump we ever owned, but it did reduce the cabinet rattling by 50%. Less than 3 years later the heat pump completely failed, The Complete Heating repair costs were over $700 for labor alone, but luckily the pump was still under warranty.

Compete Heating is an awesome family owned and operated company. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and has solved some long term issues for our restaurant. They did a new install for our new restaurant in Spokane Valley and all the installers and employees are all really great with. Dan's daughter, Sarah, works in the office and she's always on top of the scheduling and if she didn't know the answer to my question, she would find it out for me and get back to me quickly. They are just awesome and I can't say enough good stuff! Thank you so much for the awesome job you did for me! I look forward to our next project together!

Nothing good to say from the beginning of building our house 4 years ago until present. Multiple ongoing issues from AC to a wood burning fireplace that we still cannot use. Had to have another HVAC person come out to tell us they overcharged our AC system after complete heating couldn’t figure it out in two years time that they made the mistake on install, then he wanted us to pay for a service call to come out and set the charge correctly. Our fireplace is a nightmare, after 4 years and countless phone calls, leaving messages, begging and pleading for Complete Heating to make it right, it still smokes out our house. It’s obvious there is a venting issue Complete heating can’t figure it out and now Dan the owner refuses to call back after leaving multiple messages over three weeks time,I guess it’s good business practice to just flat out ignore the customer when you don’t want to stand behind your work anymore. Since they aren’t an authorized installer of the fireplace they put in our house the manufacturer has no record of the fireplace not working correctly and will not do anything to support me on my end to get Complete Heating to fix this. Long story short do not consider them for a fireplace install, find a professional that knows what they are doing. In the end I have a fireplace expert coming out to take a look at this that I will end up paying for any mistakes or installation errors that Complete Heating did or did not do because they don’t seem to stand behind their work. If it wouldn’t cost me $15-$20 thousand dollars I would rip this entire system out of our new house and start over fresh with a reputable installer, at least I’d have a fireplace that won’t ruin our new house with smoke damage and not to mention the poor air quality

STOP! Do not use this company. Complete was responsible for our HVAC installation on our new very expensive home built less than 3 years ago. We have had nothing but trouble from phantom noises, poor heating/cooling, and an improperly installed water heater.

We were told that the noises were normal and part of any home. Agree that noises happen. However, when it prevents you from sleeping and is occuring all day and night, we disagree. Upon having a competent HVAC company come out, the problen was fixed and diagnosed as a COMPLETly impcompetent adn poorly hung duct system installation.

Just last week, our water heateer started having problems. I quote the our repair guy: "Elbow going up through the ceiling was not glued. The manufacturer has a max number of 90 degree elbows at 5. There were at least 7...this is one of the worst flue installations I have ever seen."

Trust us, lock the doors, run for the hills, and find someone else if COMPLETE is scheduled to do anything in your home.

We had central A/C put in, in our old home, that was built in 1918, with a short unit (needing a different coil) - They were able to get us in quickly, and order the part . The man who did our bid was so kind and sweet to our kids who were there when he arrived - which was very quick. He explained everything to me, and when he left, I felt I had enough information to explain what was happening to my significant other later in the day. The actual install was quick as well, my significant other came home during the day and the man explained what he was doing and a time frame for how long it would take. He was on time, and cleaned up everything, and it was so nice to come home to cool air. Communication with the company was efficient and quick through email/phone. I would recommend Complete Heating, and I don't ever recommend anyone. Thank you guys, for making these out of the ordinary HOT summer days in Spokane, a lot more enjoyable. :)

Complete Heating installed all of our HVAC equipment in February 2020 for our new house build. By March of that same year, the thermostat already wasn’t working. They came out and told me it hadn’t been hooked up correctly, which they fixed.
Every single summer after that, our pipes would freeze. The filters were always clean, so there was no explanation. Each time, they would come out, “fix” it, and just blame it on a dirty filter without ever giving a real answer.
I also noticed water leaking and discovered they hadn’t hooked up the condensation pipe correctly. It leaked onto the platform, causing mold to grow. They couldn’t get out to me in time, so I had to hire a different company to fix their mistake.
Fast forward to 2025: my air conditioner suddenly stopped blowing cold air. I called at 7:30 a.m., and the front desk lady told me she couldn’t even look at the schedule until 10:00 a.m. and would call me back. She also never called me back , I called back and she said " can't get you in until next week".Meanwhile, it was 100° outside. I ended up calling a different company, who diagnosed the problem as the compressor failing after only five years. On a nearly brand-new unit, that should not be happening.
Needless to say, I will not be using Complete Heating again. Their customer service is poor, their installation was sloppy, and I’ve had issue after issue with equipment that should have lasted much longer. I’d strongly recommend steering clear to save yourself the headache and expense.

We used Complete heating for a new furnace and ac in a newly renovated area of our house. They were always on time, respectful, and communicated well. The last guy even took his shoes off before entering to not mess up any of the new floor. We did have a couple issues with install (drain line freezing and leaking) but they were fixed as soon as I brought it up without any hesitation and very promptly. They were cost friendly compared to multiple other companies.

Edit to my review based on the response:

YOU INSTALLED MY ENTIRE HVAC SYSTEM POORY. Your records have completely forgotten or redacted your inability to correct the consistent banging our hvac system has since installation. The installation was yours on our new construction home. ALL THE HVAC WORK WAS YOURS AND IT IS NOISY!!! You and Contempo homes couldn’t remedy it, and now I live with the incompetent work. The only thing COMPLETE about your work is it is a COMPLETE disaster for me and my family.

Yes, a service call was made for the tripped switch. Our mistake that we probably paid for to remedy. Either way, come with the COMPLETE story when defending the deserved review. I am out almost $5k fixing your bad work. Yes, I am frustrated and will continue to warn others about my experience.

I will continue to give a review and spread the word on the poor job your company did. If you all resolved issues as well as you respond to deserved poor reviews, maybe this debate wouldn’t be happening publicly and I would be promoting your business.

I want to support local businesses but I can’t support COMPLETE until I can work live and sleep without a noisemaker in the room to drown out the noise.

THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT. Fix the problem and I will remove reviews and support your business.
