Ken at Ashley Westmark’s Preventive Maintenance Services is outstanding! He’s professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough in his work. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all my questions were answered.

What impressed me most was his attention to detail and proactive approach—he caught potential issues early and handled everything efficiently. On top of that, he was friendly, respectful, and left everything clean and in great shape.

Ken and his wife were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, thorough, and incredibly kind. They cleaned our dryer vent and went above and beyond by going into the crawlspace, where they discovered the dryer hose had become disconnected. They reconnected it and made sure everything was working safely and properly. A few days later, Ken even followed up to ensure everything was still working well. That extra effort gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear they truly care about doing the job right. Their level of care and attention is rare these days. I highly recommend Ken and his wife to anyone needing dryer vent cleaning—outstanding service all around!

I am so pleased with the wonderful work of Olympic Rickeries. The storm we had last month took out a portion of a 80 foot retaining wall along the back side of my property. They went above and beyond what I was expecting, making sure the job was done correctly and would be safe for years to come.They were great at communicating what was to be done, when it would be started and completed. They were punctual and very professional. The end result is very attractive. It looks much better than the original. I can’t thank them enough for taking such care in restoring my rockery.

Owner is rude, told him I would come check out his products this weekend, told me no need to come and that “I’d be wasting his time”. Can’t even give a proper estimate for install or just buying it and diy. Just assumes I’m lowballing when we never even got a price. Go elsewhere people. Shady guy as seen on other reviews

Simply the best and most reliable rockery contractor you can find. Able to do almost any kind of rock wall, large or small. You will find them to be very professional and able to offer a prompt and accurate proposal right away. One of the "well kept secret" contractors used by landscape professionals everywhere in the region. Highly recommended!

We had 3 retaining walls with big rocks, some excavation and overall a large driveway remodel. Olympic rocked. Shinda and Cy were incredible to work with, timely and very reasonable. They have a new rock yard out in Sumner. I would encourage everyone to visit. Great group of folks! Thank you for the quality work!

They are near my home I went to their website and ordered 1yard of gravel and it said it would calculate shipping charges at checkout. When checking out the shipping box drop down said n/c shipping. The next day expected a call for delivery and no call. I emailed called twice and it went to voicemail both times (Friday) Saturday no call stopped by and they couldn’t find my order and I showed them it charged me with zero shipping. The employee said delivery was 195.00. They called the owner and he said he would call me Monday to figure it out. No call Monday so I called again and was told they had a new website and it wasn’t working correctly and I would be charged, I’m a manager at a small company and if we make a mistake we take care of the customer even if it cost us a few dollars because we value our customers, I live 1.5 miles away. Next called again left voicemail ( Tuesday)and they called back this time cause I was very direct and still want to change delivery and said if I didn’t want to pay ask me if I had a truck or trailer to pick up myself, that was not the answer I expected. The whole point of ordering was to have it delivered like the website stated.
I hope if this happens to someone else they as a company would do the right thing and take care of the customer. I will take my business elsewhere and if someone asks about your company I will send them to someone else who cares and stands behind their mistake.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the work completed by Olympic Rockeries, and much of the qualities that make this company great have been covered in the other reviews so I am going to focus on one specific quality I haven't seen mentioned: They stand behind their work.

This summer, Olympic Rockeries installed several large drainage pipes behind our house, as well as a rock wall. The project goal was to move water seeping out of the hillside away from our house and into a creek. They adapted to speedbumps in the project quite well and I was excited to see it in action once the autumn rains kicked in.

In October, we received 4" of rain in 24 hours. The first real test. The drainage system was handling the excess water well at first, but then it began to back-up and we were running into similar issues we had encountered before the drainage system was installed. I texted Shinda and he came out THAT NIGHT. Olympic Rockeries excavator arrived the next morning and they found the issue, resolved it, and then improved the drainage system in several other ways. Since then, Shinda has checked in during heavy rains to make sure everything is performing as it should (and it has!).

Olympic Rockeries stands behind their work. Highly recommended.

Shinda and his team just finished rebuilding our retaining wall, which had slid last winter and was bulging in several areas between our property line and the neighbors home. From estimate to project completion his team was flawless. They arrived 30 minutes early, were friendly, and extremely professional. Our daughter (and us) had a blast watching how skillfully they worked the machinary! VERY impressed with this company and would highly recommend!

We hired Olympic Rockeries for a significant backyard project: 1> flatten a portion of a sloped backyard, 2> build a retaining wall to support it, 3> move and improve an existing stone stair case, 4> decommission septic tank and hook up to city sewer.

It's a bit of a leap of faith hiring someone for a project this size; it was the first time we had done anything close to this magnitude. We could not be happier with the outcome. The space turned out looking aesthetically better than I had envisioned, and the flattened area larger (which was the main goal of the project).

Shinda has solid vision, and the ability to carry it out. I'd also like to compliment Brandon, who built out the wall and a significant portion of the project - both of these guys are fantastic. 5* across the board. Thank you!

There's a couple of themes you hear from other Olympic Rockeries reviews. 1. Shinda is da' man. 2. Olympic took a good idea, and made it into a great reality. I'll start by saying - it's true...

We're in the homestretch of a whole garden do-over - part of the yard on a good slope that previously made it unusable, and we're sick of fighting the PNW grass/moss war. We talked to about a dozen different hard and soft-scapers, starting out as complete newbies. We put together a fairly detailed "what could good look like" rubric over the last couple of years to give to vendors. Looking to build patios, retaining walls, steps, and focal-point stonework.

Most vendors were average to poor - we wanted organic and flowing, they wanted to throw up cheap blockwork that looked like an angular WW1 Somme fortress. Shinda's business approach is so different - think much nearer project partnership. First his advice was from an "If it was my house" perspective... Second, he introduced us to a range of great material choices, helped us dial-in our rubric and budget, walking us through stone-yards to find and select the right materials for our site, as well as introducing us to possible soft-scaping partners.

His team worked with awesome equipment that enabled them to demo our whole site, construct/sculpt our patios and tiers, and skillfully place heavy steps, beautiful rocks, and stones walls with minimal impact to our site and neighbours. We typically had at least twice-daily great communication with his site-foreman Cy and our soft-scaping foreman, as they worked to translate plans into reality. The outcome was much better than I could have imagined. I’ll post pictures when we’re done

I'm a residential customer and needed one more step in my rockery installed into a tight hard to access location. The owner of Olympic Rockery came out personally on a Sunday with his excavator to install the rock step. He was quick and even threw in an extra retention rock at no extra charge. I recommend Olympic Rockery to other residential customers looking for good local rockery services.

Olympic Rockeries does an incredible job and you should be more than confident in choosing them to complete your needed work. I think Shinda is a very honest person and what he tells you is what will happen. There was no changes or weird stuff... just a well done job exactly as planned. His crew works hard, they are courteous, keep things clean, and work safely. I will use them everytime I need work like this!
