With the recient storms I was expecting a long wait for someone to come out and give me an estimate on removal of a couple large damaged and dangerous trees at my house. I called them on a Thursday and the estimatger was at my house on Saturday morning. The price was very reasonable and they were out to do the work on the following Monday. The crew was polite, fast and very professional. I was impressed with how accurately they could drop sections of the tree into small areas of my yard. Afterwards they cleaned up everything (including my driveway). The next time I need tree work done I will definately be calling these guys. I would include photos but you can only add photos through Google Photos which I don't use. In any case they earned their 5 stars and I recommend using them for tree removal.

This team is a well-oiled machine. I called to schedule an estimate with Alexis and she got me an appt the next day with Kristian who was great and emailed me an estimate on the spot. He even responded very quickly to a few adjustments I wanted to make afterward. On service day, the crew of 4 arrived at 9:00am sharp, including Tony Canzler (40 yr tree veteran), and beautifully cranked out more than a dozen large tree removals and some beastly stump grinding in one day. Our community is thrilled about the quality of their work. Overall, super impressed with these guys. Great communication, skill, customer service and competitive pricing. Will use again the future. Highly recommended!

Kevin Muster (The Tree Guy) uses religion as a marketing ploy to instill trust, but might better be described as a 'hustler.' He sold me additional, overpriced services like removing out-of-hand Himalayan blackberry bramble while not actually removing them, removed a cherry tree he said would pose a future problem to our foundation when the base of the tree was a good 1-2 feet beneath the foundation's level. He over-trimmed a privacy screen by 4' of height, destroyed a cherished peach tree, and offered to top my 20 arborvitaes for free to encourage side growth while assuring me height wouldn't be affected (thankfully, he didn't hold this end up of his agreement, as I later learned that he was incorrect that vertical growth on topped arborvitaes would be unimpeded.) Even after this, he had the audacity to ask for more money the day after work was completed because he wants to offset the impact of taxes on his take-home pay. He will hide behind disability if you call him out on his B.S.
He likely couldn't care less for the details of your needs, so you'd need to put in the research and get everything clearly put in writing and probably still to micromanage the work, or settle for a hack-job. Prepare to stand firm in your price, because he'll probably try to shake more out of you. If personal integrity is important to you, for your peace of mind and hard-earned money, I'd look elsewhere. -
Kevin was super! We had cakes another service that never came back so we called The Tree Guy Kevin and he came right over. Super nice man and he did exactly what we asked him to do for the price we had in mind. We will call him again! Thank you Kevin!

I used “The Tree Guy” and it was an okay experience. I would use him again because his price is decent. His crew knows what they’re doing. Only thing I don’t like about Kevin is that he harasses you for more money because of an “unexpected”
Issue. During the whole ordeal, he would push for extra cash. He needs to stick to his quote. Otherwise I would give him a 5 star. -
I felt that it was important to leave a review after reading the review left by the gentleman who writes 26 reviews. Writing reviews is not something that I regularly do.
Tree removal is dangerous hard work, and I have respect for anyone who does this job. I phoned several other people, and Kevin was equal to if not less than the others. He showed up with his crew including his daughter for a large project of several 70 foot trees and other trees needing to be trimmed. Both my neighbor and I met with Kevin, and not only did he not try to upsell us, in fact he did the opposite. Not on e did he ever mention any religious reference, or use any type of ploy in order to increase labor or profit. The work was completed on time, and every branch and leaf was cleaned up. Negative reviews on hard working people remind me of restaurant reviews from people who cant cook. I will use this company in the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. -
They did a great job and were quite professional for the most part. He's slow to reply or read text messages so it's best to call him but Kevin knows what he's doing and didn't damage my house. He was more expensive than other contractors but he seemed much more experienced and if something gets damaged it would be even more costly. So I spent $1,500 instead of $600 but other contractors were not as professional and I was scared they would bust something because my job was quite delicate. I was scared of a gas or water line exploding if they were not careful.
After he finished he even did me a favor and grinded a roots in my front yard! I had no idea those were overgrown roots creeping towards my house (and a danger to my water system) but he fixed it before he left free of charge and analyzed if another tree was a danger to my sewer line. Quite a relief! Great job and I don't mind that they were an hour late because when they came they were hard working and meticulous!! Definitely recommend 😊❤️
***He had to cut a metal fence and stump in my neighbors yard (shared fence line) and he was quite respectful. Of course I got permission and coordinated with my neighbor as well. No issues, looks much better!
**** One thing, he does not charge or do debris removal that's on you. -
I had the TreeGuy out to help with a tree that had fallen over and was dangling over my feed shed and chicken coop. I discovered it after work and wasted time on an OUTRAGEOUS quote for the job and a young man who took the job but realized after he arrived that it was too much for him. It was quite late in the evening by the time Kevin was called in, well after work hours, but the tree was dropping a couple inches every time there was a breeze. I was pretty sure my shed and coop were toast. Kevin arrived promptly and went right to work. He worked for hours — well into the evening — and got the tree down with only minimal damage to one portion of chicken wire fencing. His fee was reasonable, and he saved my shed. I don’t know what I would have done if my neighbor had not called him out for me.

I am the neighbor of somebody who used "the tree guy" and I cannot believe the unprofessional business practice. My backyard was right against the fence where my neighbor had 2 large trees (pine or spruce). One day I hear a chainsaw running and look outside to see huge branches falling into my yard. I was given no warning by neither my neighbor nor the business that this was going to happen. My dogs could have been in the yard and been hit by these branches. Fortunately I was home and able to keep them in the house. The branches fell and damaged the tree in my backyard, knocked off a couple of fence boards, and left debris everywhere. To make matters worse, one of their employees jumped the fence into my yard to pick up everything without my consent (trespassing). Again, my dogs could have been in my yard and created a problem for the trespasser (they're about 100lbs each). My neighbor is less than courteous so there is no surprise they didn't say anything, but "the tree guy" should have come by and tried to say something or leave a note. My property was damaged, my dogs could have been injured, and they trespassed on my land without any attempt to contact me at any point. You can see in the images the debris and the damaged fence boards. They tried to repair the fence but did a poor job. I cannot believe they haven't been sued (yet).

William arrived on time and did a great job pruning my trees and cleaning up the landscaping in my yard. He even trimmed my ornamental grasses at no cost to fix up a job I started myself. Thanks for the great work. I will call again soon.

Great guys. They took out 14 huge 100' Leland cypress, a dying alder leaning over my neighbors shop, and an enormous dead maple which had been topped before. They did it all in 4 days, cleaned up as promised. Great experience when other companies couldn't be bothered to show up or answer their phones.
