I had been using Ashley Chimney Service for several year and they came out in late February to do their 29 point inspection of my wood stove and chimney. After twenty minutes he was done but when I checked there was still ashes in the stove and I had to request that it also be cleaned out. He also said my chimney needed pressure washing and waterproofing that they could do for an additional $289 with a 5 year warranty. The next day I checked my records and found they had done the pressure washing/ waterproofing on my chimney in 2014 and it had a 15 year warranty according to the invoice. I called back to schedule an appointment to have this done but got the runaround for a few weeks. Finally, they said I would need to pay another $79.95 to inspect it to see if the leaking was due to them. Apparently, the first guys 29 point inspection for $129.95 + tax was not good enough to determine this. I will not use this company again as they do not honor their warranties.

They supposedly cleaned our stove pipe. I wasn’t really happy at the time but thought “oh well, good enough.” Now that it’s cold we’re trying to use it and the whole house gets full of smoke. They won’t return calls. When someone finally returned a call after numerous calls over more than a week’s time, she said she’d call right back after talking to the tech (?). She didn’t. Still no calls back. I guess at this point I’ll have to pay someone reputable to fix the damage and sue them for the cost. Avoid them!

Soo we had Ashley chimney clean our chimney a couple years ago, They did a good job, but then quoted us an outrageous amount for our chimney top / cap repairs... Well my husband is a capable, handy guy, got up on the roof and saw a couple spots that needed resealing. It was a repair that was under 20 bucks and took very little time... I would say that they were good for the chimney clean but be aware when they tell you about hundreds of dollars in repair that you need. Also they call ALL the time to see if we need any repairs or cleanings done. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!

Last month we had them come out to clean our chimney only to discover they needed to install an access door to clean the chimney in our recently purchased house. It took a week of back and forth with the receptionist to finally confirm an appointment for this. The day the appointment was scheduled they never showed. My husband called them 4 times and 4 hours after their scheduled arrival time he received a call from one of their workers saying they would be there shortly. They arrived and began the installation of the door, but then left before the job was complete. They did not seal around the installed access door, did not clean our chimney and didn't clean their mess up. We came home to discover all the knocked out brick and mortar laying on top of our wood stove box and creosote caked inside the walls of the chimney. (Because they were so late we were forced to leave for work prior to them finishing the outside portion of the installation). Every time we have attempted to get ahold of this company they do not answer and do not call back. My husband had received a price quote for the job the first time they came out, but while doing the installation they attempted to charge us double what the original quote was. I do not recommend this company for anything.

I’ve used them for several years. Were always friendly and thorough. Things seem to have changed this year. Technicians came out and in chatting before leaving I noticed the frame of my cable curtain was hanging on one side. They tried to repair and but finally after watching them do the same thing, I said it seems not reparable. That asked if I wanted them to remove the other volt. I said yes. They offered to dispose of the entire screen. NOw clean chimney but can’t burn. No ‘we’re sorry perhaps we can comp the cleaning’. Nothing. Called the office to see if they carried chimney things or where I might go to buy another screen. Again no apology just a suggestion of where to go. I spent 3 hours driving around and eventually bought a screen for over $340 that sits outside the fireplace. I won’t be going back next year. Different experience unfortunately

If you ever do business with them they will continually call and harass you late in the evening, even after being asked to be taken off their call list. Since you guys have no email or other form I can make a record of.
Do not ever contact me again, remove my number from your call list. This is harassment.

We have used their services twice. Now in the 2 year period and absolutely love our experience with them. They are in and out and clean up after they are done with the service. Their boss and the technician are very kind . 10/10 would Recommend

I personally wouldn’t recommend Power Vac LLC. I didn’t have a good experience. The guy was nice, yes, but the job wasn’t great.
When they left, I had globs of dust coming out of my air vents. In addition to the globs, a burning smell was coming from my vents. I would say it was a very poor job, and I would have preferred to have a different company come out.

PowerVac team were responsive, knowledgeable and professional in assessing, bidding and scheduling our duct cleaning job, and John and Ricardo were professional, efficient, careful, friendly and thorough in making sure the job was done right, on time and to very high standard. Will definitely recommend them to others!

Very accommodating, and service oriented, and got us scheduled in short order. Kenny was prompt did an amazing job, despite it being way too long since the chase was serviced. Price was quite reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Power Vac arrived on time and the workers were very professional and courteous. The job was done in a couple of hours and they were very thorough in cleaning all the ducts and the dryer vent. I highly recommend their service.

Today I had my air ducts and dryer vent serviced. What a great experience! The two technicians (James & Jason) called before they showed up. They were there on time. They answered all my questions. They did a thorough cleaning job! And they also closed off an air duct that had been disconnected but left open. I highly recommend Power Vac LLC.

I recently moved into a new home. For the first couple of months, my allergies were bad. Turns out my furnace and ducts were filthy! My dryer vent was also clogged with lint (I kept getting an error code about obstructed airflow on my dryer). I’m happy with Power Vac’s service. Alla and Bobby were professional, knowledgeable, and thorough with the work. Both had a delightful disposition. Alla showed me where my furnace air filter is located and how to change it. I also appreciated the company getting back to me quickly with a quote for the work and with follow-up emails I would send.

Amazingly an earring was retrieved that I hadn't seen for years. Even more surprising, I found its match in my broken jewelry drawer! Can you believe it!

Mary was able to schedule service after a competitor changed their pricing on arrival. Mary at Power Vac was very responsive and clear with their pricing. Ryan arrived on time and worked tirelessly to finish in a reasonable amount of time. He was courteous and very efficient. I highly recommend Power Vac and ask for Ryan!

The office and techs were responsive. Even though there was a time change. They made sure to communicate with us about it. Communication goes a long way. Sean and John did a great job. They were friendly and thorough. I would use again.

We had John & Jayden come by today to clean our 50 year old system (VERY old, I know) and they did a fantastic job and were so friendly and kind. PowerVac is one of only a few companies that would come out to Stevenson and were better priced than the rest. Highly recommend.

When I was looking for a company to clean our heating ducts I called a friend of mine who owns an HVAC company. He always recommends Power Vac. We just had them at our home today and I can now see why they received such a strong recommendation. James and Ala did outstanding work! They were courteous, professional and detail-oriented. They went above and beyond...not just getting our system cleaned but did a thorough examination of our crawl space and identified some other issues that needed to be addressed and didn't leave until they'd taken care of everything. They clearly take great pride in their work and represent the company well.
