After contracting with them in May 2024, they set a date to do windows, siding, a new porch, and install a new door for mid-June. They never showed up, nor did I get a call that they wouldn't be present. It took a few days to get even a text response. When I finally heard from them, they said they had scheduling issues and would set a new date. By August, I still did not have a new date and got the run around. September and October are the same, so we told them we just want a refund of our 25k deposit. Contacted the better business bureau, and they haven't been able to make progress after the company told them they would give our deposit back. Now December and we are still out our deposit with no communication from the company. Do no give them your business. Not reliable.
UPDATE: Sept 2025 still haven't given back our deposit despite saying they would. Liar and Thieves. Had to hire a lawyer just to get money from the bond.

This crew, lead by Kevin has gone above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect. Let me assist with a breakdown of how my experience went:

The reach out was professional and scheduled for a first meeting. We discussed options for new siding and we gave a handshake to seal our working relationship. Within that week and work started in winter conditions (rain, cold, dark).

During demo we ran into our first snag, no layer of plywood under the existed under the current older cedar. Kevin laid out options, and we agreed to add this to the work list and materials showed up within sort order. This showed the responsiveness, prowess of the craft, and ability to handle any issue at hand.

The rest of the job finished in short order and ahead of projected timelines. A few items on the site became damaged during the demo, but, Kevin replaced them himself. It is that sort of commitment that is attractive to any future clients. I would recommend this group over all others.

Now, almost months later, I text him after out of the blue on Sunday with a plumbing issue. This issue could require cutting into the siding. I asked for him to give me a call when we had a moment, he meets me straight on with a call back on potentially his only free moments off this weekend.

Kevin and all parties he work with are as professional as they come. I knew I made the right call going into business with him and I do believe his word is good. If you handshake on it, he will stick to it. This review is part of me living up to my agreement with him. He shook on standing by his work, and he has continued to earn nothing but praise.

We signed the siding replacement contract in May 2024 and the project was supposed to start in late Sept 2024. However, the project was delayed due to problems in the material order. We then decided to postpone the project to late May 2025. While the communications during this period was not that smooth, the project was finally started in early June 2025 after several follow ups. The crew team and the project manager, JJ was excellent. Easy to communicate and responsive. The quality of work is very good. Unfortunately, the pre-painted siding materials were not enough and they used non pre-painted siding for some parts. Though they would paint for us, we were not happy with it and insisted not for the lower front part of our house near the main door. JJ was very patient and reported our concerns to his boss Calvin. They addressed our concerns and ordered a little bit more new pre-painted siding for the front part near the main door while painted other areas covered by non pre-painted siding. The remaining project has to be delayed for 6 weeks to receive the new materials. Their professionalism is highly appreciated. Overall speaking, though with some mishaps during the process and took longer time to complete the work, we are satisfied with the project and think that it's a good value for the finished work. We highly recommend this company.

Cobalt replaced some of the cedar exterior siding on our home in Kirkland. I hired them because their bid was competitive and clear. Kevin did a thorough job of reviewing the house and submitted a clear proposal.
They started the job a few days later than originally expected but Kevin communicated well through that. The guys doing the work were professional, fast, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of the day. And the quality of the work was very good. There were only a few small punch list items that they took care of quickly. They actually finished the job sooner than expected. I'd highly recommend Cobalt for siding work and would hire them again.

Absolutely had the best experience with Cobalt from start to finish. When Nick came out for the estimate, he was wonderful with my toddler and he still talks about it. Tyler, the technician from This company, was well informed when I contacted for a dryer vent inspection. He swiftly discovered an obstruction preventing ventilation. He completed his task quickly, neatly, and expertly. Knowing that the vent is fully cleaned makes me feel safer. Without a doubt, I would use them once more.

David was great! He came out and gave us an estimate for the job first. When we called him back he was available to start in the next couple of days. The job involved installing a dedicated circuit in our crawlspace for our sump pump. He worked hard, going between the crawlspace and the electrical panel in our garage. He even updated our panel switches while he was there because he had the parts. He left everything better than he found it and was very easy to work with. We would definitely recommend Trosset Electric and we will call David again if we have another electrical issue.
