GSC helped me with a total rebuild of an 8-unit apartment building after a fire. Corey, Matt, and Tony were all a pleasure to work with. They guided me through the insurance process and made an otherwise very stressful time manageable. Professional, responsive, and stuck to schedule! Would recommend to anyone looking for help with a project big or small.

We had a fire that almost completely destroyed our home in 2020. After evaluating three reconstruction contractors, we decided to go with GSC since we felt that Corey and his team had a greater attention to detail than some of the other contractors. Our follow ups with GSC references were also positive in the sense that the references talked about both what went well and not so well, as is common with any such large scale construction project. From a personal point of view, I tend to be generally distrustful of uniformly positive references and so it was refreshing to hear from references who gave me an honest opinion. When the estimate was written, the insurance adjuster said that the estimate was very well written. This gave us further confidence that we had made the correct choice.

That said, we were in the height of Covid with resulting negative impacts on the supply chain. Matt and Corey were able to manage the supply chain well and get all the materials lined up for the project to proceed smoothly. In any such project, it is also important for the homeowner to be on top of the contractor and subs to make sure that the work is being done correctly. The quality of GSC employees was very good. Specifically, working with Tony was a pleasure and he is a very skilled craftsman. You would be fortunate to have him work on your home. The subs were good and the finish quality of the home was excellent. Work was done on time, which is always a refreshing change from horror stories that I have heard with other contractors.

A few problems arose after the home was completed due to some not so good work by a sub who is no longer employed by GSC. GSC worked with us to correct them in a timely manner. This shows that they have a commitment to quality that lasts beyond the final payment. Consequently, I would recommend them without hesitation.

This company was spot on for the repairs I needed. My kitchen and bathroom was a mess. Austin got a hold of me within a few hours, inspected and got a plan of action ready. The process was so much better than expected. Truly Amazing, Thanks Austin 😊

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Austin at Greater Seattle Construction. After a major flood in my small downtown Seattle condo, I was left trying to navigate the incredibly confusing world of HOA insurance claims. Most contractors wouldn’t even consider coming out for a job of this size—let alone one located right in the heart of the city. But Austin not only responded—he showed up in person within three days.

He reviewed all of my previous estimates and documentation and gave me the most valuable information I received during this entire ordeal. He helped me understand how supplemental claims work, and the bigger picture of how the HOA insurance process functions—something that’s rarely, if ever, explained to homeowners. It’s especially tough when you're not the policyholder and can’t speak directly with the insurance adjuster.

Even though Greater Seattle Construction couldn’t take on the project due to timing and factors outside his control, Austin still took the time to meet with me, guide me, and share his deep knowledge. Similar to other reviews, we had a devastating loss occur when a pipe burst in our attic January of 2023 and we had to do a complete restoration of our home. It was such a heartbreaking and stressful time and the amount of support and guidance we received from Corey and the GSC team was unbelievable. They immediately understood the singularity and gravity of this type of experience and how confusing navigating insurance field adjusters, water mitigation crews, logistics tied to accurate timelines, change orders with how we wanted our house to look, etc. Additionally, they were very understanding of our situation, including my wife being pregnant throughout the year of the work being done and completed the project early so we were well in our home before the baby came. The house is incredible now and there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not grateful for the work that GSC did for us.

Working with Austin and GSC has made an incredibly stressful situation turn into a dream scenario. The communication and timeliness has been off the charts. They worked well with the insurance company and the work they did looks incredible. I would recommend anyone needing home repairs from an insurance claim or looking to update their home to consider working with Austin and GSC !

We called Greater Seattle Construction out to perform an assessment of our home after a devastating house fire. From the first day, Austin and Corey gave us a thorough appraisal of what needed to be done, helped us compare multiple bids, and were even able to persuade our insurance company’s adjuster to update their report to more accurately document the damage to the house and the costs of repairing it. When a different contractor attempted to charge us for demolition and remediation work that hadn’t been performed to industry standards, Greater Seattle stepped in to help us recognize their false claims, document flaws in their work, and gather evidence that the job was not complete. Throughout the entire process, they were always honest, communicative, and quick to address any questions or concerns we had. As miserable as this experience has been, I can't imagine how much worse it could have been if we hadn’t been lucky enough to find professionals as reliable and trustworthy as Greater Seattle to help us through it. I can’t recommend them enough.

I highly recommend this company. I have nothing but glowing praise for Todd. Firstly- the customer service is fantastic. Todd was the one assigned for my projects. He was punctual, courteous, and ready to begin. He’s very meticulous at every task completed. Secondly- his work is and always has been consistently outstanding. He takes pride in his work and is always gracious to deter (should I change my mind). His intricate commitment to the details of tasks is extraordinary. He never rushes and his communication skills are excellent. He sometimes make suggests, that often times are stupendous. Thirdly- his depth of experience and efficiency combined with his punctually and professionalism is his high bar. If he is unavailable, when I call-in, I will wait for his availability.
