We called because after 12 years we were starting to get a lot of dust in the house so we figured we would try a duct cleaning.

Once James arrived he was thorough to go through the system and could see we were getting a lot of heat loss throughout the system because of small gaps where duct connections were. He explained a sealant process that fills the gaps and would lower the loss of air. Once I agreed to do that on top of the cleaning, he then was able to find areas of the duct work that were incomplete from when it was installed and repaired them then sealed everything. The process took him 10 hrs or so because of his attention to detail on making sure the system was completely sealed. We instantly could tell we were getting much better airflow out of our air ducts. It was money well spent. It’s nice to see before and after photos along with emailed computer readings of the CFM’s before and after the sealing process.

I would recommend requesting to have James Green be your technician, there were no short cuts done by him and he was very thorough.

James and Brian were awesome today! If you make an appointment you will be speaking to James’ mom. I love supporting local family businesses!! As you can see the lint was really bad…heinous! But now my new dryer is ready to go. I have 3 loads of wash waiting lol. The gentlemen from Totally Clean went above and beyond…they taped the joints of my metal vent piping with special heat resistant tape, linked me on Amazon to a $30 improved vent that I can install myself to keep critters out and vacuumed up the lint mess after.

I had an excellent experience with James Green and his crew at Totally Clean – Brookfield. From start to finish, the service was professional, thorough, and incredibly effective.

The main reason I called was for duct sealing, and I’m so glad I did. They found that both my supply and return ducts were leaking significantly, which explained why some rooms were freezing every winter. James and his team took the time to explain exactly what they were doing, showed me the condition of my ducts, and then properly sealed everything up.

The results were immediate and impressive — the house heats up much faster, every room now gets heat, and the furnace runs far less often, which should mean real energy savings.

They also cleaned my dryer vent, and I’m attaching a photo to this review that shows just how clogged it was before they serviced it. No wonder my clothes needed multiple cycles to dry! Since the cleaning, drying times are back to normal, and I feel much better knowing it’s safer too.

On top of all that, they cleaned up completely when they were finished and treated my home with respect throughout the process.
