We had Trapp Tree service come out for some stump grinding and consultation for tree removal service. Prompt, on time, knowledgeable and professional. Great communication.We will be having them back for tree removal. Owner Tim is enthusiastic on what he does, something so refreshing in these times. It is no surprise they have a solid 5 star rating.

They provided a fair estimate the weekend we called, and were on time and professional.

They showed up on time, geared up, quality equipment, secured the scene, greeted me, and got to work.

Tim and his crew did an amazing job trimming our maple and oak trees and removing a birch tree. They were very professional and competitive on there pricing. The job from start to finish was outstanding. Their clean up was impeccable - even cleared fallen leaves off of the roof. We were very impressed on how seriously they take safety from how they protect themselves and communicate to one another. I would highly recommend Trapp Tree Service and will use them again in the future.

Highly recommend. Did a great job pruning my locus tree as it was encroaching above my houses roof. Polite, respectful and does a great job. What more can you ask for? Will come back to Tim in the future.

My wife and I hired Trapp Tree Service to remove six large blue spruce trees from our yard. Tim was always prompt and professional in his communication. The day the work was done Tim and his crew showed up on time, introduced themselves and got to work efficiently and safely. Four hours later the trees and all debris had been removed, the area was raked, and the street was cleaned of any debris. Could not recommend a more professional tree removal service.

I’m gonna be a little silly because this company deserves so much more than can be written in a review. You got an honest to goodness fair family business here it’s exactly the kind of “Trapp” you wanna fall into for your tree care. Kind, considerate, knowledgeable and cleanly care company that exceeds expectations in tree care. Don’t pick someone else. Trapp will deliver with knowledgeable clean service and friendly communication. Price is also on point… we couldn’t save our damaged tree and it was quickly becoming a hazard and these folks care about everything they are involved in and it shows!! We have lots of trees. We had Trapp Tree Service come out to remove 4 big trees and trim a tree that was neglected by the previous owner. Tim, and his crew were amazing!!! The trees were over our chicken coops, garage, and our children's play house. Trapp Tree Service made sure that everything was removed carefully, and done in a very safe matter. From start to finish the whole process was very professional. I am very happy with my decision to go with Trapp Tree Service. I would HIGHLY recommend Trapp Tree service to anyone who needs tree removal or tree trimming. I also want to add that their pricing is really reasonable!!!! Great company. We have used them for our tree care work for years on our 2+ acre lot. Very professional and knowledgeable. Have recommended them to many people!

This is the only place I will use for my tree care services. I have numerous trees on my 1acer lot including 10+fruit trees. I use them for pruning, spraying, general tree care and landscaping needs. Friendly employees and we will continue to use thoughout the upcoming years as they are very knowledgeable and reliable!

After accepting their estimate in early October, the arborist called to schedule service the day before they wanted to do the work in mid-November. When I explained that I was unavailable that day he sounded surprised that I would want to be present when the crew came to do work at my home, and attempted to convince me I didn't need to be there. When I explained that I wanted to be there in case there were any issues and/or questions he agreed to reschedule at a later date, and that it should be within 4-5 weeks.

After not hearing anything more seven weeks later I called back and left a message asking when the service would be rescheduled. Two weeks later I received a call from a different scheduler asking to schedule the service the following week, which I agreed. Then the morning of the service, at the very time they were supposed to arrive, they called to cancel due to rain, which made unsafe work conditions. It's understandable that they canceled due to unsafe work conditions, the snow and rain had been forecast for several days prior and had actually begun the afternoon before allowing them time to contact me sooner than that morning. Additionally, the scheduler did not acknowledge that they could have called sooner, instead he simply stated that it was unsafe. I explained that it was now time for me to find another company to do the work.

In both occurrences described above, First Choice Tree Care employees came across as more concerned with what was most convenient for them rather than working and communicating effectively with their customer.

Respecting customers' time, and communicating with them early and effectively are hallmarks of successful companies who get repeat business and good reviews. They will get neither from me, and I encourage anyone reading this to look elsewhere for their tree care.

We have done business with First Choice for years. They are prompt, professional and thorough. After the terrible wind storm of summer 2019, they came and removed trees that were a threat to our home, deck, and fence. Later, they took care of down trees that were not an imminent problem. I was so grateful for the help they provided when I really needed them. Two years ago, we had an oak die in the front yard. They diagnosed it with oak wilt. After discussing options, I hired them to treat the trees around it to prevent spread of disease. So far, so good. Later that winter , when it was safe to remove the dead tree, they took it down and removed the wood. These are trained and skilled arborists. My trees are valuable to me and I trust First Choice with their care.
