Constraction reviews in Madison, Wisconsin

We use handy work on various projects, we have been partnering with them since 2019 and couldn’t be happier with continuing to grow with them in the Madison area, great team and good turn around time

They made a very good job on the stucco and the drywall of my house,
We highly recommend.

Im a subcontractor ( Hondu Siding LLC )
I gave him a call and helped me right away in a time of need. They were fast and efficient!

Remodeled my entire basement. Did an amazing work. Definitely contacting them again for my next project!

Excellent bathroom remodel! Every detail was done perfectly, from tiles to fixtures and paintwork. They truly care about customer satisfaction.

I recently met with Chris for a walk through and quote for an involved project at my home. He made sure to honor my timeline for availability and pushed through and got every trade in for quotes in a very short timeline. He excelled in professionalism and punctuality in all the communication and scheduling deadlines. I was very impressed and truly appreciated his efficiency throughout the process. I look forward to working with him!

When we decided it was time to move my elderly mother into our home, I reached out to Carlos at Capital Custom Contractors and several other companies for estimates on a full basement remodel to create a private apartment for her. Ultimately, I ended up going with this company because they had room in the schedule to start the job quickly, their estimate was very reasonable, and the reviews were good. What a great decision that was! They did a fantastic job on our basement remodel. We are so happy with the final results. We got excellent, quality work for a fair price. The team was respectful, friendly and flexible. Carlos was only a phone call away when I had questions. A big thanks to Rigo, Gary, Eddy and the rest of the team on a job well done. I'll be contacting Capital Custom Contractors for all our construction and repair needs from now on. (In fact, they are currently working on some exterior work for me as I write this review).

We hired Chads Design Build to renovate our attic into a usable finished living space. We ended up turning it into a primary bedroom. The size and scope of the project was larger than anything we had ever done. The project required structural engineering, multiple subcontractors and even some sweat equity.

From start to finish Chads listened to our needs and wants while giving us suggestions along the way. Anytime we ran into an issue they were quick to resolve it.

Chads Design build was an outstanding company to work with. The entire Chads team was knowledgeable, professional and respectful of us, our time and our home. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend them.

Respect Remodel did a great job for us with replacing an entry door and installing a new kitchen floor. In addition to being great craftsmen, Chris and his team were professional, communicative, punctual and helpful. They even took a moment to play with our dog who wouldn't stop interrupting the install.

I couldn't recommend Respect Remodel more!

I highly recommend Chris and his team at Respect Remodel. Chris has worked on 3 large window and door projects at my 2 houses in the Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood in Madison, WI.

I had old doors and windows that had lead paint, and they required an expert certified in Lead paint remediation to handle the job properly. Chris helped navigate the lead paint remediation and replacement process of one of the whole houses, which was a very large project.

The project required inspections and coordinating the work with Dane County, and he did so from start to finish, and followed up with everything that was needed to pass inspection.

I look forward to working with Chris again and the future. They provided high value and great craftsmanship. I would recommend anyone who needs remodeling work to consider their team. Thanks Chris

We worked with Chris on our home remodel. Exterior siding, windows and doors were all replaced, including the bathtub/surround and electrical service upgrade. They use premium windows and doors and I am so happy with the results!

Chris has a vision (with experience to match it) and it really made a difference in my kitchen when he suggested replacing two small windows with one large window. What a view we now have, its wonderful!
Also he had an idea to open up our back porch, and it is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning sunshine.
His electrician was meticulous about rewiring and labeling all the wires, going above and beyond the normal call to upgrade the panel.
Any changes or delays in construction were immediately brought to my attention. I will be remodeling my kitchen soon (guess who I'll be calling) and I would highly recommend Respect Remodel for your construction.

I would highly recommend this company for any remodeling projects you need done. Chris is very hands on and is present the majority of the time supervising his crew. He is quick to deal with any unexpected issues and quite fair with his overall pricing. I am very happy with the windows he installed for us.

We went with Capital Custom Contractors to finish our basement, adding in an office, bathroom, living area and wet bar. The final product looks great! Carlos and team were wonderful to work with. They were all very friendly and professional. I appreciate the extra effort they put into finishing the space beneath the staircase, creating a cozy play area for our toddler. We definitely recommend this team for your home projects too.

We recently had Chads Design Build remodel our kitchen and laundry room. The whole process was great.
They listened to our input, offered great suggestions, and made us feel really heard. During the remodel itself, the staff were fantastic, treating our home and our cats with care and respect. We really enjoy our new space that Chads provided for us. (before and almost-finished photos below)

Fabio and the crew at Facility Solutions did a massive lead abatement project on our home, both interior and exterior. They replaced our flooring, our old clawfoot tub, and every single window and window frame, along with sealing the woodwork throughout the entire house. Our exterior was asbestos-concrete fiberboard covered in lead paint. The crew came in and quickly took out the old boards, repairing old rotten wood as they went before replacing everything with beautiful modern siding, fascia, and soffits. All of this work was coordinated and done in phases so as to cause minimal disturbance and allow our family to stay in the home.

Throughout the process Fabio kept in close contact, let me know what the team is working on and ensured I was informed about how the project was going. The work was done quickly yet masterfully, and most importantly passed a rigorous lead test administered by the Dane County Health Department. We have two young children, one who had fallen severely ill due to the omnipresent lead in our old Victorian home. Now we can sleep peacefully knowing that our young ones and those of future generations will be safe from lead exposure.

My wife and I are ecstatic about how the house turned out, its like living in an entirely new home thanks to the hard work and dedication to detail shown by Facility Solutions. I cannot say enough kind and gracious words about this company. We will be sticking with them for all our future home improvement needs.

Check out these before and after pics to see just part of the transformation Facility Solutions made happen.

Will not respond to my emails. Very unprofessional. I have emailed several associates.

I would absolutely recommend Carlos and his team. We hired them to finish our basement and they were great to work with throughout the entire process. We wanted to do some of the work ourselves to stay within our budget and Carlos was always super flexible working with us when there was a step we wanted to do. We also made several changes during the project and he always made sure that those happened without a problem. We added another family room and bathroom (before and after pics attached) and Carlos took care of all the planning and scheduling to make it happen. The team was always timely and professional when working in the basement and answering our questions. We are very happy with the result and glad to recommend Capital Custom Contractors.

I regret allowing them in my home.
I hired Fabio and his crew to smooth and paint the drywall on the inside of my home and garage for $20,650. What a mistake. Not only was it overpriced but the work, attention to detail, and respect for my home was awful. They moved workout equipment on my front lawn and not only did they leave it out overnight but left it out in the rain. They took off light fixtures, curtains and ceiling fans to work on the drywall then broke and/or lost things that I now have to deal with. We discussed not running the furnace while sanding, sure enough on my first visit it was running at 80 degrees. They were not supposed to use the two upstairs bathrooms and we stored expensive items in them to keep away from dust but sure enough the door was wide open when I visited and as you can see in one of the pictures one of the workers pants were left in there. They also left their dirty socks on top of my paper towels. Fabio told me he was finished and to come look at it. Boy was I surprised to see things unpainted, mud and paint slung everywhere and I baseball sized hole in the living room wall. The hole wasn’t there before but I swear to god the guy said “we thought you wanted that there. We didn’t know if you ran a cord through it”. Speaking of cords, my ps5 power cord is now missing and another cord that was stored along side it now has electrical tape wrapped around damage that wasn’t previously there. I found loose insulation and chunks of drywall in my basement. I’m sure I will continue to find new things that they messed up as time goes on.

Totally recommend Fabio and his Facility Solutions team. Fabio is very responsive when communicating with his clients.
His team did an amazing job smoothing & painting our basement ceiling and painting the brick fireplace and cedar wood walls. They also painted our sunroom and framed, drywalled and painted our garage and we are extremely happy with the result.
We will definitely be using Fabio & his team for any future projects in our home.

Great plan and communication. Had some issues with the print but these wete resolved quickly

Facility solutions were life savers for us. We closed on a house in May and had until the end of July to finish a number of major projects on the house so that we could move in. Fabio's team completed all of the projects when we expected them to and they even worked around our unexpected hiccups and other contractors we had to schedule. The team is professional and clean and knowledgeable about their craft if you need someone else to weigh in on a decision. They also leave the space as clean as possible when they are done- I even had other contractors comment on how clean the spaces they had worked were. Would definitely recommend!
