Awful, actually nonexistent communication. Agreed to do a couple days' worth of work at my house, a few weeks down the road. Near that penciled in date, they became short on manpower and had to back it up a couple weeks. Sucked, but I told them I'd stick with them. A week out, I reached out to confirm and see what the plan was. No response. The week of, I tried again. No response. Over the course of three weeks, I made numerous calls and sent numerous text messages to the owner, Matt. None were ever returned. I even requested they just tell me No if that's the answer. They didn't even have the professional decency to do that. I lost two months and am still waiting to secure a replacement just because this company could not communicate with me. It is beyond frustrating that businesses can get away with this sort of behavior. Matt, if you're out there, I'd still love to hear what happened.

Matt and his team are the best in Madison. We have had nothing but positive experiences when working w/ Selectric and recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done at a fair price and fast. Keep up the great work Team Selectric!

This was our 2nd major remodel, but our first with Selectric as the electrical sub. The difference between our first experience with a electric sub and Selectric are worlds apart. If you want the job done right, and to know that your electrician will go above and beyond to either troubleshoot, provide options, and to explain why, then this team is for you. I have not had to call them to fix or repair any of their work. While the remodel was going on, they were here every day they said they would be and no work was held up due to them. I did have to have them come out to fix something that I myself messed up, and they responded quickly to set up the appointment, showed up on time, and fixed the issue in no time. I will not use any other electricians going forward, because when you find the best, you hang on them!

Selectric is the best for customer service and not trying to oversell services. In fact I feel they are always trying to find the best value for the money. Aaron has been not only super helpful to me but also to clients I refer him to. Thanks for always being there!

Great place,guys are great unloading, but they park there cars in the way an I cant get backed into there dock little tight

First time there had to look around and find where to go myself with people walking around me and not saying anything.

I walked in, looked around for what I needed, and then left, since I had other things that needed doing. Since there was no one around I can't comment on the service, and I didn't feel comfortable taking what I wanted & leaving what I thought it was worth.

Smart Home Electric was able to service our emergency need immediately when we came home to a furnace that was not working. They got the furnace up and running that night and came back soon to diagnose and fix the other electric problem we had- no power to several rooms in our house. Top notch service. Can not recommend enough!
