I would recommend to use this company when you have an emergency and need someone to come fast. However, I would not recommend them for jobs that are not urgent.

We needed to replace ballast in the mud room. I was happy with the scheduling and we received an appointment fast. I told them ahead of time what needs to be replaced and ask that an electrician bring ballast with him. However, instead of taking 15 minutes, the replacement took 1.5 hours! We were also charged twice for the parts relative to the Home Depot prices. When I asked the electrician how much the parts cost, he said that he does not know the prices, but they are relatively cheap. He also did not have ballasts with him and needed to wait until they were brought from the warehouse.
Overall, they sent us a bill of $260. If you think it is reasonable, go ahead and work with them. Besides, the price and the time it took, the work has been done to our satisfaction. If it is not an urgent order, I bet you can find a better company in the Madison area.

Used them at our facility several times. Each and every time they go out of their way to be here quickly, they fix issues that aren’t even really their specialty and they go above and beyond. They have fixed our proprietary Bluetooth locks that I would have to wait weeks for the company that makes them to even come. They replaced a light fixture and I asked if the tech could knock down an old birds nest that was lodged on one of our door sensors and he took the boom lift and did so. Friendly people, really impressed with their service. All I can speak to is our experience and it’s always positive.

I have had contact with Hill several times over the last three years for a large home remodel project and now assorted small adjustments. From Aaron the project manager, to the folks answering the phone in the office, to Mark "Beef" and a few other electricians that I have had dealings with, I am always satisfied with the professionalism and general treatment as well as the results. I'd go with Hill for any future needs.

I used to be a long term customer of Hill Electric and I will never use them again. I tried to get a bathroom fan replaced and texted image of the current fan and its Serial number, etc information to them well ahead of the appointment. I was told they have the fan. The technician showed up and he had none of the information I had provided and was unable to replace the fan. So we rescheduled the appointment through the main office once he was sure he had the fan. Today was the day and no one showed up. Called the office and there was no record of the appointment. As I said I used to be an a long time client of Hill. I had been happy with the technical repairs in the past, but their current appointment scheduling system needs a major overhaul. I will use another company from now on and take yet another day off from work.

Oh my gosh, I will forever use and refer everyone I know to Hill Electric! The prompt, friendly service is like no other. It's hard to come by that these days and they are on top of it! If you want something done, they will make it happen. I'm so happy with their work and my experience with them. Thank you for making my project smooth and flawless!!

Working with Ed and his team at Hill Electric was a breath of fresh air and I will be calling Hill Electric for all future electrical needs. Ed and his team installed exterior LED parking lot lights, and from the beginning to the end of the project Ed handled everything flawlessly under a strict timeframe. I hired Hill Electric to upgrade my electrical service to 200 amp and install power for a hot tub. I have been in service for 35 years and the entire experience with Hill Electric has been fantastic. They really care about quality. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable, fast, clean and polite. They ran into an issue and figured out with no price change. I am truly impressed with the final results. I will recommend Hill Electric to anyone.

We have long relied on Hill Electric for excellent and timely service. Most recently, we hired them to install two new kitchen lights. As with any house more than 50 years old, installation presented certain unique challenges. But the pro sent our way was intrepid and applied problem-solving skills that warrant a 5-star review. For courteous, honest, reliable, and professional electrical services, call no one else.

We hired Hill Electric to install a new bathroom light fixture and also to check on why our front porch outlet stopped working. The technician Terry was very professional, took care of the job (s) in a very timely manner, AND gave me some info I did not know about where all the GFCI outlets in my (new) house were as well as about the wattage of LED lights. I will definitely use Hill Electric again!
BTW, we contacted Hill after another company that we have used before (who shall remain nameless) never returned our calls!

We had an excellent experience with a small residential job repairing the mast on our home. They were fast, efficient and affordable. The only delay was scheduling MGE for their portion of the repair. Definitely recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience with Hill Electric. After another company stood us up, Hill got us on the schedule quickly. Shane arrived on time, early in the morning, and worked incredibly skillfully and efficiently on a task that turned out to be much more involved than initially expected. And after all of that, the bill was reasonable. I'm very grateful for Hill's (and especially Shane's) work and care, and will definitely be calling them the next time I need electrical help.

Jeremy was awesome.Really good guy. However, office manger raised quote $2500 more to just ground the cables. Just her interactions were not genuine and customer friendly. Very disappointed with manager approach and the way she handled our situation.

I had a great experience with Hill Electric. I needed a new outlet and a remote switch installed. The job was scheduled quickly and the electrician (John) arrived on time and was very friendly, professional and efficient. I'm extremely happy with the completed work and felt that the cost was very reasonable. I'd absolutely hire them to do work in the future and have already recommended them to neighbors looking to have similar work done.

Took far too long and cost too much for something simple and received really poor customer service. I'm really disappointed and recommend no one use these guys. Much better companies out there.

He help me with My new home and wiring and 75/hr is not bad an for the time it was really good and he keep it clean on like some people. The work was quick and fast and when he was done it look brand new and I’m really satisfied.

Epic Electric installed 3 new gfci’s in my garage on three new circuits. They were very professional and clean. The price was cheaper than others.

Epic did a full home inspection of all of my outlets & switches. The work was done quickly, at a fair price, and by a very knowledgeable electrician. I highly recommend this company!

I requested a quote to move a light switch 12”. An electrician came out and quoted me $75 plus materials, I said fine and we set up a date/time. I received a bill for over $300! I called and asked why I was billed for 2 guys and 7 hours of work for 1 light switch??!! They said they would remove 2 hours from my bill. I’m still stuck paying $290 for one light switch being moved 12”!! This company is crooked! Do not use them!

I used Epic for a recent recessed lighting project in my living room/dining room. Chris is so enthusiastic about his work and it is really fun to brainstorm with him. He gives a fair quote and sticks to it, never got frustrated when I changed a nuance of the plan, and was one of the most consistently responsive folks I’ve worked with. The work looks great and was done when he said it would be. Thank you! Have already recommended Epic to others.
